C: Snorp. D: Toot. C: So, I've been periodically re-watching SingSingSing. And I can't decide if he has a moustache in that video or not. D: Here I was expecting you to say something about having ascended to a new layer of reality. Instead you are hung up on the dilemma of a moustache. D: Perhaps this is the key. C: It's the same thing, isn't it? D: It depends on the moustache. D: But it sounds like this one is already on the quantum side of things. C: You see, there's a dark patch under his nose and above his lips that's similar to the dark around his eyes. BUT the lighting is also very dramatic. C: So I can't tell if it's a shadow or a moustache. D: I think it's a sort of thin moustache that the shadow is making look more dense than it actually is. I just started watching again and that's the immediate impression I got. C: He's clean shaven in other videos, and yes it's like a sort of pencil moustache if there is one. D: I also see it even at angles that shouldn't be casting a shadow that way. D: Could we be witnessing the only known recorded evidence of Schroedinger's Moustache? C: That's heavy. C: Alright, so I conducted research (the pause button)

D: Moustache Prongs D: The technical term. D: I think you're right, because for the light to be casting shadows like that there'd also be some under the cheekbones too, not to mention the side of the skull

C: Case closed. Another victory for science.

D: But now the question is D: Why this tiny weirdstache in this one video when there is none in the others?

Regrettably, one of our dogs developed a problem with her teeth and now needs to eat soft food. To make feeding time fun again, we converted one of our old smoothie makers into a soft-food machine so she can enjoy the meals she loves without any of the pain.

Lady In The Woods

Here’s a song about a lady, though I’ve never seen her face.

I hear her in the morning, but I cannot find her place.

Her voice a sweetly whisper, and her crying’s hard to hear.

I take me up my courage and attempt to creep on near.

But ne’er find I the lady, so I think she must be dead.

Or maybe it’s because the lady’s only in my head.

Every day, in some small way, we suffer a bit, and that’s okay.

Do you ever eat popcorn out of the palm of your own hand with such ardent desperation that you feel like both a wild horse and the gentle schoolgirl feeding it treats to gain its affection

I can't say I've ever given it that thorough of an evaluation, but I can say that I have eaten popcorn like a lizard.

It’s Winter Time Again

Dad went into the basement to fetch a back-up pair of slippers since his have worn out.

He picked up the box and acorns fell out through a die-cut hole in the side of it.

Like 13 acorns.

So he opened the box and found evidence that a little mouse had been sleeping in his slipper. No poops, just warm bedding. Warm bedding and a million acorns that some critter had gone through the trouble of not only bringing into our home, but then also climbing up into this box to stash.

So he took his slippers out and I upgraded the acorns to better snacks, gave the mouse softer bedding, and put the box back.
