German candidate for Mr. Rubber Europe 2018
Hi folks, my name is Thomas Holzner and my nickname is âWoodyâ, some of you may already know me from Facebook, Instagram and/or Tumblr. I am the only candidate to represent Germany for the election of Mr. Rubber Europe 2018 and I want to introduce myself a bit and it would be great if I get your support, worldwide by online voting and of course live in Antwerp at the contest http://mrrubber.eu.

41 years ago, I was born in Munich and live now together with my husband Simon and our dog Danny in Mannheim. I have been into rubber for quite long time. I can remember that I was already fascinated as a child by my motherâs rubber household gloves, my rubber swimming cap, balloons or my favorite item: my dadâs orange seventies flippers. I got my first full suit when I was 18 - but had my full Rubber coming out only when I met Simon 2.5 years ago. Since then I live my rubber side to the most possible extent. Before I met Simon, I was often confronted with lack of understanding or even rejection - not only from the public, but also from friends and former partners. Still now there is some refusal, even in the gay scene but also a lot of curiosity. Due to the fact, that I see rubber not only as a kind of fetish but as a part of my personality, I wear rubber not only for special events, parties or just for sex â I try to integrate it in my daily life as much as possible. Fortunately, I get full support from my man and in the meanwhile also by most of my friends.
With my blog âWoody76" on Facebook and my profiles on Instagram and Tumblr, I show some insights in my rubber life and hope I can encourage others to do the same. Just living the way, they want to and to show that rubber is nothing what has to be hidden away and also getting rid of the dingy image. For me it is a heartfelt wish, that rubber will be as much accepted as other fashion styles like leather and that also in daily life and not only if it is worn by some celebrities.
So, my campaign as Mr. Rubber Europe 2018, if I will be elected, will be â#showyourrubberâ.

Hallo zusammen, mein Name ist Thomas Holzner â Spitzname âWoodyâ, einige von Euch kennen mich ja vielleicht schon von Facebook, Instagram und/oder Tumblr. Ich bin der einzige Kandidat, der Deutschland bei der Wahl des Mr. Rubber Europe 2018 in Antwerpen vertritt. Ich bin 41 Jahre alt und komme ursprĂŒnglich aus MĂŒnchen, ich wohne mit meinem Mann Simon und unserem Hund Danny in Mannheim. Ich fĂŒhlte mich schon als Kind von Latex und Gummi aller Art magisch angezogen. Seien es die Haushaltshandschuhe meiner Mutter, meine blaue Latex Schwimmhaube oder aber die schicken orangenen 70er Jahre Gummi Taucherflossen meines Vaters. Ich exprimierte dann mit diversen Billigartikeln, bis ich mir mit 18 Jahren meinen ersten hochwertigen Ganzanzug kaufte. Auch wenn einige Freunde Bescheid wussten, so hatte ich mein richtiges Gummi Coming erst als ich meinen Mann Simon vor 2,5 Jahren kennen lernte. Bevor ich Simon traf, wurde ich oft mit mangelndem VerstĂ€ndnis oder sogar Ablehnung konfrontiert, oft machte man sich auch einfach nur darĂŒber lustig. Nicht nur in der Ăffentlichkeit allgemein, sondern auch bei Freunden und ehemaligen Partnern. Selbst wenn es manche toll fanden, so war es doch undenkbar damit in die Ăffentlichkeit zu gehen. Leider gibt es noch immer ein groĂes UnverstĂ€ndnis und Ablehnung in Bezug auf Gummi â leider auch in der Schwulenszene; jedoch auch viel Neugierde.
Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass ich Gummi nicht nur als einen Fetisch sehe, sondern als Teil meines persönlichen Lifestyles und Persönlichkeit, trage ich Gummi nicht nur zu besonderen AnlĂ€ssen wie Partys oder nur zum Sex â ich versuche meine Klamotten so gut wie möglich in mein tĂ€gliches Leben zu integrieren. Zum GlĂŒck bekomme ich von meinem Mann und inzwischen auch von den meisten meiner Freunde volle UnterstĂŒtzung.
Mi meinem Blog âWoody76â auf Facebook und meinen Profilen auf Instagram und Tumblr, zeige ich einige Einblicke in mein âGummi-Lebenâ und hoffe, dass ich dadurch andere ermutigen kann, es mir gleich zu tun! Est ein Herzenswunsch fĂŒr mich, dass Gummi genauso akzeptiert wird wie z.B. Leder â und das auch im tĂ€glichen Leben und nicht nur wenn es von Stars und Sternchen getragen wird.
