banshee,
editing the theme r/q as i update this blog for when i use it this week.
Send me a ☁ for a voice recording and tell what you want me to say
DEATH HIMSELF.
JUDGING from his reaction , he didn’t even need word to identify the response for his inquiry. that EXPRESSION illustrated on his visage was abundant enough to a- nswer his question . obviously , his statement wasn’t FALSE. it was CRUEL reali- ty for the poor , POOR skeleton .
death lowered his head ever so SLIGHTLY , a light chuckle flowing out of his mou- th. what a PITIFUL monster , really . it was weird , from all the duplicates from va- ious timeline , THIS one happened to be the most stressful one .
❛ Oi , lighten up . He doesn’t really hate you as much as you’d ever think, yknow? to tell truth , no matter how much he’d deny it , he CARES about you . ❜
&&. of course , that wasn’t a LIE . being a GOD , he had the ability to know how mort- als truly feel . or either way , he was SMART enough to put two on two together .
❛ Let’ just say , he’s ‘TRAINING’ you to be independent &&. STRONG . I don’t know if he’ll ever admit the truth , but it’s in hi nature. Don’t stress yourself too much. If you ask me , you should really go &&. talk to him sometime , y’know? like , real talk. ❜
“ yeah, i guess but --- you know that there’s a difference between training and setting walls between people. between being a trainer and being a terrible brother. and... nah i’m. i’m not gonna. i don’t feel like being called weak in front of anyone again. i’d rather die. ”
THERE’S a heavy, thick sludge to his words, as if he doesn’t know what he’s saying - as if it’s not him saying them, but then the red irises flicker over to the GOD with the expression on his skull of ‘no offense, though’ and the underlying one of ‘that’s your cue my dude’ that is difficult to see if you’re not l o o k i n g. There’s a low rumble of a sigh that follows after this brief exchange, and he rolls his shoulders, something obviously on his mind.
“ hey though, why are you h e r e ? is someone ready to go or ... ? ”
LONG LIVE THE QUEEN.
❛ HE…HEHE. All ruthless mans has a DEBILITY,dear. His debility were: HUMANS… ❜
&& TEARS FALLING LIKE a river. So his ex-husband wasn’t that b a d in the end. A little kid of 5 years old or even more KILLED him weeks ago. The mother felt EMPTY inside. All she loved was gone. ALL. Well, at least her Sans was ALRIGHT.
There was no POSITIVE thing about all this. All was calmed but it continue being a DARK NIGHTMARE. No words to describe her pain.
❛ Undyne is the QUEEN now… ❜
“ ha ha... THAT’S probably the w o r s t idea anyone’s ever had. l - letting UNDYNE become Q U E E N ? how STUPID can one person BE ? HA HA HA -- ”
THE laughter that escapes him is hysterical -- loud and not even close to believable, filling these echoing halls with the voice of a m a d m a n. Nothing has settled in yet. Nothing wants to. He doesn’t want to think that ASGORE is dead. He might’ve not liked the methods of the King -- he might’ve not liked how his laws were too h a r s h -- but he didn’t want him to DIE. For some reason, he feels like this is all h i s fault. ( Even if that’s the farthest from the truth. )
“ ha ha... ha ha ha... h... a... ... toriel ... i don’t belong here. i don’t... need to be here. i’m pro- bably going to leave, and you’re going to f - forget me. that’s, how it goes. fuck, this is weird, i know, i just -- i... i trusted you, in my timeline. i want to trust you here but i don’t think i c a n. just -- something’s not r i g h t. ”
STUPID FLOWER.
“Something like that?” Flowey squinted slightly, but he still SHOOK. He only cared about his survival, and Frisk’s, he could care LESS about making friends, be he wanted to stay ALIVE. Yet, he needed a SURE answer, or he might as well give himself up now. Yet he couldn’t DEMAND anything to the skeleton ( not like he had the will to do it anyway ), Flowey knew that one little slip-up and he’d be squashed, so he let it out gently. He turned up his smile more.
↳❤ ACT: ↳❤ TALK:
┆” Ha… haha… A-Are you sure ? I-I mean.. I’m not calling you a LIAR, just…. “ ┆
“ yeah, sure, WHY NOT. i know the damn kid ain’t gonna win anyways, so. take my word for it. i f the kid wins, which is more unlikely than snow in hotland, i won’t kill ya. hell, i’ll even h e l p ya. ”
BREATHY laughter escaped the stout skeleton, red irises turned towards the fight once again. He’d been tuning out for a while now, hadn’t he ? He... should have actually looked, before making that bet - that PROMISE. Because - well - the kid is actually winning. To mostly everyone, it seemed like PAPYRUS had the upper hand in this battle, and w o u l d win, but he could see the tense air about him, the quivering of the hands, and the nervousness that accompanied his attacks. He was avoiding the human entirely. ( G R O W L. )
SHIFTING nervously, he debates leaving before this can end badly. He even takes a few steps away, serrated teeth grinding gently against the bottom row of teeth, but he knows the battle is almost over. PAPYRUS’ will is... not as strong as his, so he knows it won’t go well for him here on out. SANS shrinks inside his jacket, because it sinks in that he made a bet that he’d be losing. Another unhappy growl leaves him, and the thought of breaking it off crosses his mind... but he’s not that cruel.
UTTERLY SMOKIN’.
There’s a faint twitch from the corner of her mouth, RED tipped nails tapped against the cigarette, causing ash to flutter to the ground. It was feminine, but a faint rasp could be heard in the airy chuckle she gave.
The vertebrae in her neck give a gentle crack as she rolls her skull, then looks at him. She comes to the conclusion that he wasn’t going to leave any time soon.
{ ☠ How…. F l a t t e r i n’. Ya’ come up with that yerself? Can’t say that I heard that before, though, not many say such sweet things to me…. Heh. H a h. Ha. Ha. }
“ don’t see why not. with that person- ality of yours, i don’t see how anyone could p o s s i b l y resist. ”
SNIDE remarks are his strong suit, and he’s not even halfway to afraid to use them, even if he gets into a FIGHT with someone over his words. He’ll never get hit, after all, and people just get more angry with him because of this. He finds what little joy he can in that fact, because it’s the only way he can find it.
“ ‘sides, i ain’t got nothin’ better t’do, so i thought why not find a bit of ill will by botherin’ the next person in sight. luckily for you, unfortunately for every- one else -- that person was y o u. ”
SHUT THE FUCK UP, SANS!
I DIDN’TF UCKING SAY ANYTHING FUCKLORD

PATIENCE.
Until, until, until. A terrible fate awaits her and she has BLINDED HERSELF to it. Grotesque and soulless she will be, but not until– until–! Her heart is painted turquoise, a soft color of the quiet calm of seas. She drowns daily waiting for this and that– her hopes tied to weathered rope; her desire the anchor that drags her down into the abyss. Deeper, deeper– and the skeleton has the thinnest string of her undoing. It’s her end, sooner or later, it’s her HELL. His HELL.
Their LIMBO is now.
She can only tuck his skull under her chin, allow no sorrow to escape her as the shock fades– what was this moment? What brilliance does this supernova have in the darkest night–? Poetry is what spills from her lips the next moment. Slow, steady rhythm in her words.
“ Remind me of the times we spent, allow me to recall what words we have exchanged. Nothing is lost, for nothing truly ends. A bitter book has the most savory of endings; that is why they are called bittersweet. I will stay, I desire to. But if push comes to shove– remind me of our days. “
* Alphecca attempts to comfort you.
Words tumble from her lips with the grace of a poet he cannot recall the name of, but once loved like it was the best thing he’d ever read in his life. He’s not sure what to make of it until she talks about REMINDING her if she does happen to forget ( which she will ). There’s an obvious hitch in his ( rather unnecessary ) breaths and his grip wavers, slips for a moment, before it’s even tighter than before. It seems that her words had the desired effect.
‘ ... i used to be best friends with you - with all the humans. the ones before you, we took pictures before ... before ... i ... ALPHECCA. i don’t want to do this anymore ... i don’t want to see you get hurt. you don’t deserve it ... you don’t, you don’t you don’t you don’t ! ’
He’s having a complete breakdown over something that HE did, something that he can no longer change, even as he starts crying again. None of the previous humans ... ( not since the Royal Family was together ) ... they weren’t this nice, they didn’t take time out of their journey to find him, comfort him. They would just do what they had to, then move on --- some wouldn’t even do that until told what they had to do, after messing up so horribly. He just wants everyone to be happy ... he wants to be GUILT-FREE.

DEMONIC.
♛— A screech, more akin to a cornered predator than a human girl, resounded through the air as Chara struggled with all her might against his hold. She knew what was coming next– And she wished she didn’t.
Her cries only increased in volume when, just as she predicted, the true pain began. This wasn’t her body. No, the real Chara died a long time ago. But that didn’t mean the child’s fractured, jaded soul couldn’t still experience pain.
She was no stranger to suffering, she expected it even, but this was always a bit too much for her to bear. With every impact, the subtle cracks on the red heart-shaped whisp doupled and tripled in size. Chara felt like she was being burned alive then ripped apart by a thousand hungry wolves before being sewn back together– only to be put into a meat grinder.
She could say a lot of things about Sans– One of them was THOROUGH.
She felt the child she was bound to, Frisk, beg her to stop. They hated this part, too, and they were tired of playing this game. It just wasn’t fun anymore.
But, their actions in the Ruins had caused a chain reaction that not even the opposing spirit could stop. Besides, when all of this was over {IF SHE SURVIVED}, she’d gain their SOUL.
First though? She’d make this impudent little monster pay.
She struggled to right herself with broken limbs and willed her soul not to disintegrate into pieces. She had to do end this.
She had to.
“I… will end you,” she growled. With gritted teeth, muffled cries, and more than a little stumbling, she managed to right herself. Chara shambled forward with the dread knife still clenched tightly in her left hand. “I will end you!”
Welp. Looks like she’s not going to give up. It’s not that he WANTED her to or anything ( he loves killing her over &&. over &&. OVER again, make her feel the pain he’s felt every single time she’s killed his brother right before his eyes ) --- it’s just that ... well ... he’s tired. He’s so very tired. He just wants to sleep, take a rest, wake up with his brother and go back to the charades they had, maybe break facade for a little bit to throw in a seemingly-sarcastic “ I LOVE YOU ” even if it gets him extra puzzles to do. But the thing is, he knows that he can’t have that. Even if she resets, she’ll do the same thing again, and he’ll have to watch Papyrus be proud of the demonic impostor of a human child instead of him. ( Papyrus will never know just how strong he is, what he DOES to PROTECT everyone ... even if he fails a few times. )
‘ how many times have ya said that now ? sixty ? sixty-five ?? ya know kid, i’m starting to think that you’re on your last leg of life here. so take my advice while i’m being even the SLIGHTEST gracious, okay ?
B U R N I N H E L L, DIRTY BROTHER KILLER. ’
Summoning a few walls of bones, the skeleton threw her in the direction of the walls each time, but making sure to give some time for reactions, to dodge. Killing her quickly isn’t ever fun, so he’d always use the strongest attacks first, then give small, fast attacks, trying to mask the uneasy feeling of anguish - of KNOWING settling in his bones. He knows he can’t keep this up forever. He knows that she will eventually get what she wants. But for now, he’ll dismiss the thought and continue attacking. He can do this forever. He can always DODGE.
SHAKING PETALS.
↳❤ ACT: ↳❤ TALK:
┆ “ H-Howdy, Sans… Now, I-I know what y-your THINKING, we can j-just be friends here…. R-Right ? ” ┆
Dammit, dammit, dammit!! Why did Frisk have to LEAVE him here?! Why couldn’t he have just hid out in their sweater like he said. “It’s too dangerous there.” they said. Well it was WAY more dangerous with the OTHER skeleton! ATLEAST take him out the pot, now he has no escaped if they get CAPTURED.
‘ f r i e n d s ? ’
Sockets around red eyes narrowed in judgmental way, before squinting in a way that seemed like he was laughing on the inside ( not to mention how his ever present grin of f a k e d MALICE seemed to pull up ever so slightly more than before ). He doesn’t know which is worse better; the fact that the KID is trying to befriend his brother instead of F I G H T him, or the fact that this puny pile of drooping petals believes that he’s going to be any easier to befriend than his brother. ( But sure. Why not mimic the ideal for a moment ? It’ll be easier to strike it down when the time comes. )
‘ tell ya what. if the kid LIVES through this fight and my bro DOESN’T send them straight to the capital, we can be somethin’ like that. how’s that sound, F L O W E Y ? ’
SCAR(R)ED.
@greatdescent
Their footsteps are soft as they tread the pliant ground below them. Curiosity has taken ahold of the child despite their misgivings. The monster seems to have not noticed their approach yet and Flowey very nearly tells them to back off as they move forward. Frisk glances down to the hesitant flower with a gently chiding expression and he offers a discontented one in return. Would the flower’s common sense change their mind on investigating the brooding skeleton? Most likely not.
❝ … ? ❞
The child comes as close as they dare to this somewhat larger figure. They attempt to peek around his shoulders to glimpse his face without entering his line of sight. Upon the brief glimpse they catch of the monster’s countenance, Frisk discovers an expression that they have never seen before. It is almost as if … he is in a melancholy state? Forming the smallest of frowns and fretting their hands in reflexive concern, the child inches closer without sound nor a signal of their arrival. Before their presence is really noticeable, the human has already plopped on the ground beside the preoccupied monster with Flowey securely nestled in their lap. ( The way their arms encircle the boot he is carried in comes across as a gesture of comfort for his benefit. )
They swing their feet. Grey eyes wander after the same direction Sans’ gaze lingers.
Nothing is said and nothing is surmised.
There’s a peaceful air here. Where no monster dared roam, ‘lest they have a death wish the size of the mountain they’re all trapped under. Where no monster hesitate near, ‘lest they believe their life unnecessary. It’s peaceful where no being roamed. That’s why he can get lost so easily here, because nothing dared come near, ‘lest it truly wished to die. &&. the fact that he does indeed have a death wish ( so many, too many resets ) says something about what’s happened to him. His gaze is as unfocused as his posture, staring at something, but ( really ) he’s staring THROUGH whatever he’s looking at. Any attempt to physically rouse him would just earn a blank stare of noncommittal unknowing.
His gaze turns to something in his hands, and registry fades in -- the environment, the air, the human ... &&. it’s at that point that his phalanges bend to conceal the identity of the item before he shoves it into his jacket pocket, looking over at the child with a wild look of confusion and hesitation on his features. What is he supposed to say ? “ Go away ” ? He has a feeling that nothing will move the child, not until they get what they want... and he’s not sure he wants to know what they want.
‘ ... ... ... hey, kid. what’cha doin’ here ? didn’t you go to waterfall already ? ’
His voice sounds more resigned -- more melancholy than normal. It’s as if all the fight, all the desire to kill has drained from him - left a shell of the person who he's supposed to be, leaving only who he is. A tired, sad skeleton who wants a happy ending. That’s it. All he wants is for everyone to be happy, even if he has to live with the guilt and heartbreak of knowing he killed six i n n o c e n t children for something that may not even be a good idea. ( He’ll have to LIVE with that. For the rest of his life. )
NICER TORI.
Brows would furrow with confusion at Sans’ words. She honestly had no clue what he was talking about. & now he seemed distressed because of it. “Sans, I…I truly do not know what you are speaking of. I don’t know anything about this settlement.” Toriel gently places a hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort him, but then she notices how his eyes were strangely red & not the usual white.
“…Sans? How come your eyes are red & not white? What is going on?”
The hand on the shoulder involuntarily makes him flinch, but his gaze seems to focus because of it. None of her words have sunk in just yet, it seems. Shortly, though, he blinks and averts his gaze, seeming to not know where he is. Words against serrated teeth are torn to shreds as he tries to speak -- anything, anything at all he could say to cover his tracks, but all the lies, all the ( false ) hate he held dies away upon seeing every single difference.
‘ oh --- oh god. y - you’re --- you’re not ... H E R. ... h ... ha. s - sorry ‘bout that tori -- el. toriel. ... and my eyes have been red since before my memory can stretch ... i’m ... i’ve never had my eyes white ? ’
That’s because he’s too scared to go without his magic. Maybe that’s why he’s so TIRED.
