never doubt my power as a will byers crack shipper, i prophesied will and mike fighting/will feeling like he was drifting from the party while writing will x richie fanfic before season 3 came out.

*wakes up in a cold sweat* Gareth and Will meeting for the first time in New York while Will is going to school there and Gareth is working either in a band or in the music industry in some manner. Neither realizes the other is from Hawkins for months (don’t ask me how Gareth forgot about the kid that went missing) until someone Gareth knows visits Will (ie Dustin, Lucas, or Mike). This causes angst??? hurt comfort??? *falls back asleep*

there are two wolves that live inside of me, one wolf thinks that gareth antagonizes mike constantly because he thinks it’s funny/he is genuinely annoyed by his vibes and the other wolf thinks that he tries to get along with mike for will’s sake (both wolves are somehow right)(the wolves fight to the death everyday anyway)

trying to decide which one of my fanfic ideas i should start working on first is like picking a favorite child 😞

(i’m waffling between a multi chapter rewrite of the end of season 3 going into season 4 where the byers don’t move and hopper lives or a one shot with gareth and will meeting after season 4. like they will both happen at some point, but who will be favored 😓)

I love it when people are like “you can’t ship them, they’ve never met” “they probably don’t even know the other exists”. Like that’s what I want! In a sea of canon pairings I want two paper dolls whose relationship/interactions I get to decide on! The show writers have no hold on me and I will fight them at dawn.
