Fred Weasley imagines: requests open
First of all, Itās good to be back after FIVE years since the day in which I first tried to write imagines. College & Life & Capitalism killed my Fred & George vibe years ago, but now I canāt stop thinking about Fred Weasley, so why not share this (and use some help) with nearly 2k people that follow me here? I need to be honest, this was by far the side blog that brought me most joy since the beginning of my Tumblr adventures back in 2009.
I deleted all my old Fred & George, imagines as I couldnāt quite relate to them anymore, and I have some specific plots inside my head, so instead of just asking people to send me random stories, Iām thinking more of mutual collaboration. This is a strategy that (I hope) would prevent me from feeling like Iām just giving people a product, a story disconnected from a sense of fun. Why write if not to have (and share!) fun?
So, this collaboration between me and you all will work as it follows:Ā
1.Ā At first, weāll establish a basic plot, with a Weasley twin (or both), another original character or even a canon one, some basic situation (like a place, an event, a feeling, an object, whatever), and maybe a specific outcome, it depends. The whole point is that it needs to be a basic idea, with just a few elements, something that wonāt cut short any attempt at using imagination beyond whatās requested.
2. After deciding upon which idea is the main āthemeā for the round, Iāll publish the details and anyone can send me a more developed plot following whatās described in the basic theme. This way Iāll have multiple takes on the same idea to write different stories (which is awesome to practice creativity) and the person whose theme was chosen will have more than one story to read, having the chance to see other peopleās take on their idea. Once one round is finished, a new one is open. For now, there are no limits of entries per round, but Iāll establish a deadline of one week for people to submit their ideas starting after a new theme is picked.
To start with this thing, Iāll submit the first theme, as I have this in my head for a couple of days. If you feel like sending a more developed plot following this theme, feel free to message me and Iāll write your story. If you have any doubts (if my long-winded text failed to explain you shit), feel free to message :)
THEME #1Ā
Pairing:Ā Fred Weasley/Original Slytherin Character (either boy or girl).
Relationship status:Ā Enemies to Lovers. On Fredās side, enemies. On OCās side either indifferent or resentful or already having a crush on Fred.
OCs traits:Ā at least three years younger than Fred; Ginnyās classmate; Sucks at flying; Talent for either Herbology, Potions, or both. Muggleborn, blind in one eye. Other physical traits... Thatās up to you. You can even pick a name, or I can just write with āy/nā or āy/l/nā.
This MUST contain: Fred having prejudices against Slytherin and Slytherins; the nature of OCs relationship with Ginny (friends? enemies? indifferent?).
This must NOT contain: smut, self-harm.
And.... thatās it!
So, if you can think of a plot containing these requirements, feel free to send me. You can request for a specific situation, maybe for it to have a specific line, to add some other traits to OC or either to Fred. I donāt really mind the number of details, as long as it can fit a story with 2.5K words maximum.
