How sad is the existence of that type of female CN players.
Calling themselves feminists, yet embarrassingly horny for a bunch of 3d dudes, just parasocial and creepy af. Hurling disgusting insults at other women, not to mention all the racism, classism and homophobia. So threatened by the adult female MCās sexuality they have to resort to either treating her like a toddler or blatantly erasing her as a character. Pathetic losers in their own fantasies. CCP bootlickers too as it turns out.
2.7 being basically a cutscene is so funny because Infold were actually mean enough to reference the single most action packed filler season weāve had.
Iām convinced Ostap and Ippolit werenāt written to have a purely platonic relationship, there is no heterosexual explanation to a whole bunch of stuff they say and do around each other
The concept of the native population having to be thankful for the existence of that one alien kid, so that his genocidal colonizer dad doesnāt commit atrocities even harder, is pretty fucking bizarre.
Itās so fucked up how Crouch Jr was a fun teacher. Like, you canāt tell me this man wasnāt having the time of his life looking after these kids and being part of the community.
Couldāve easily been the runner-up in the Cool DATDA Guy race if not for the whole terror cult thing
Not me writing a long ass post complaining about the unanswered questions couple days before the āaddressing the unanswered questionsā quest drops. Which honestly gives me the tiniest bit of hope that these characters will return in the future updates, because Infold has put a surprising amount of effort into this new storyline.
(spoilers for 1.10 below the cut)
Ok, so some pieceys are reborn humans and some are literal inanimate objects. Thatās how the former regain their original identities, while the latter are pretty much a blank slate. Thatās what I was confused about in my original post, because it really felt like Infold messed up their own lore and just didnāt care.
Turns out they do care š„°
The idea of turning into a floating bag because you wished for something hard enough still reads like some sort of divine punishment though. Like, why would the universe do this to me
NOOOO MY BABY
MY LIFE SENTENCE WITHOUT PAROLE BABY
Jfc I completely forgot that Coolyn technically boy-in-striped-pajamaed her own brother. This season is DARK.
And the fact that in the end that whole thing with the suitcase just⦠didnāt matter? Like, from the moment Leon sensed the scraps didnāt belong to Julie, none of what Benny and Coolyn had done or endured even mattered. They were distraction and bait, and he intended for them to get caught pretty much from the start. Oh, and apparently Benny was framed all these centuries ago, guess by whom
bruh
they buried Benny under some default rocks
in freaking Prosperville, the most miserable place on the whole map
all he wanted was to go home and now he gets to stay in that frigid wasteland for eternity??
The fact that Momo is absolutely floored by this bullshit like a normal person while everyone else just acts like theyāve done the poor guy justice is so funny
Iām not sure if these are the same rocks we have at home island, if they are, Iām literally gonna scream. Benny, Iāll make you a proper grave, just wait till I get those candles.
Though I appreciate this quest for giving us some closure, the main storyline really omitted how genuinely insane and creepy Leon was and how obsessively he hated Juliette/Julie. The fact we only get to see all this new info in readables in a side quest with no voiceover that many arenāt even going to read just seems like an odd choice to me.
There was also a mention of some dark figure that gifted human Leon the sketch of the forbidden outfit and basically started the whole thing, and I wonder if itās the same person or creature that the old theatre guy mentioned in 1.9
(also, the fact that we got to throw hands with the old guy but not Leon is just⦠ugh)
So, I guess the moral of the story is: donāt do theatre in Miraland.
