Earth caste engineer who makes toys and various amusing things as a hobby

exactly what it says! Her name is Vral, she is a fio'la.

She works in the same acclimatization program...her job is not working directly with humans but she does see them often. Kinda made a hobby out of making whimsical objects like carving figures of people she sees walking around, water caste included!

In "Yujin wants to be your drinking buddy" Hanii called Yujin "sister". What did he mean by this and what exactly is their relationship? Are they actually blood-related siblings? Are they bonded by going through Ta'lissera bonding ritual and she's more like "blood sister" to him? Or is it just a reference to them being from the same Caste?

it's a reference to them being of the same caste! She's his 'caste sister'

When I drew that one, I was reading Elemental Council and I noticed the characters would refer to each other as brothers and sisters, even ones that don't seem to even like each other. That detail stuck with me.

Hanii doesn't have many tau friends so he compensates for it by acting very close to ones that he does have. Their actual relationship is that of co-workers, Yujin doesn't think ill of him though.

Ah, so that was it!

Hope Hanii gets more T'au friends in the future (or just more friends in general!!). Does he not have many T'au friends because of how "alien" his mannerisms are (he smiles a lot and seems to wear his heart on his sleeve when speaking with other T'au)?

And what about Yujin, does she have many friends? Is her situation a reverse one of Hanii's? Or is she kind of a loner?

In addition to Hanii's mannerisms being obviously 'tailored' to humans, it's kind of a running gag that he wants to be liked by humans so much it makes him look silly. A water caste tau having mannerisms of another species just show they work closely with them, the problem is Hanii makes a fool of himself in the process. He tries too hard! He's not good with subtlety (part of it came from him working with human children...)

Yujin can get along with other tau just fine but she is indeed a bit of a loner. She did make friends back in Bork'an but had to start all over when she came to work in the acclimatization program. She also has unusual special interests, while other tau think she's cool, calm and collected, she thinks others might find her weird.

So they are kind of opposites! By the way, Hanii gets nervous easily and it's very visible in his hands, he's made a habit of hiding his hands (which makes him look even more anxious) while Yujin has very steady hands.

I bring you my blue creatures.... ft. That one gue'vesa nobody likes.

They work in some sort of acclimatization program, dealing with humans relocated from various worlds. They're still por'la, cut them some slack if they seem a bit silly at times...

Hanii has been working in the program a bit before Yujin arrived. His job is educating human children, introducing them to the tau'va!

Yujin came from bork'an and is a studious learner. Her head is full of thoughts, she doesn't express many of them out loud so she comes off as cool or even a bit intimidating to some.

This is crazy lore but I've had this account for a while (for DEMON SLAYER fanart out of all things)

When I started drawing more SFW stuff, oc stories etc... I've played around with the idea of being more active on Tumblr but it never stuck. I just kinda use Tumblr for lurking fandoms

by the way, some internet providers here banned Tumblr for some reason (very inconvenient)
