STAR CRASHERS AU STUFF

Finally, I shall put my idea out on the internet for my stupid little au. (I'll add more as I go??)

Characters and dabble underneath :)

Background Info

In this AU it is like a fantasy modern setting so like royalty n magic but also technology.

"Power Stars" are ancient relics that destroys shadows and corruption, they are quite big so they are protected in castles (meaning each kingdom has a Power Star).

However, a dark entity has made it their mission to get rid of these stars to bring back its dark reign. (this guy is still a wip lol)

This means the boys gotta protect their kingdom and each other while also figuring out their feelings :)

Brent (King of Peritia)

Peritia means skill in Latin so I thought it would be a cool name.

If I write a full fic I kinda want to make it more Brent-centric due to like, how I want the story to go.

As mentioned; his parents are dead and he had to take the role as king at an young age (trauma yippee).

He is a skill fighter but his emotional skills need work.

Became quick friends with Nick when he joined his army which led him to meeting Vernias.

Has to deal with Sophist's tomfoolery he causes in town. (he loves him)

Nick (Royal Knight of Peritia)

Nick originally was the Prince of Toxico until the schemes of his step-mother and the dark entity made him runaway

Changed his appearance the best he could and hid for a while until joining Peritia's army.

Him and Vern are childhood friends and Vernias helped him runaway

Like to act all tough and macho (this isn't new)

Vernias (Starling Protector)

Is technically part Power Star which grants him the ability to banish darkness

Can transform into his star from whenever, good to get away quickly or be a smaller target.

Starlings usual are connected to kingdoms from their families. In this case he is from Toxico but moved to Peritia.

Helps Sophist keep his corruption at bay (HEALING KISSES!!!).

Vern is really happy that Nick found company with Brents since when he was Prince he was really quiet.

Sophist (Corrupted Magician)

Has been alone most of his life which caused him to fall into darkness.

Tho one day a certain Angel came into his life ;)

Before corruption he found Brent in the woods alone (Brent was around 7 and Eevee 10) and helped him get back to his parents (Brent doesn't remember).

Lives in a shack in the forest before moving into the castle later in the story.

Nick appreciates Sophist taking care of Vernias while in hiding which grows their friendship but they still like to bicker at each other.

Question for the Star Crashers au! Since Vernias moved with nick to a different kingdom does that mean Brent has two stars? And is Toxico still there? Anyways hope u have a good day!!

Thanks for the ask!! It’s been very apparent I haven’t been active on this account in a couple months but I’d still love to answer your questions.

Peritia still only has 1 Power Star if you’re asking about that star, but if it’s about Starlings then they also only have one!

Initially, Vernias hid that he was a Starling when moving to Peritia with Nick to avoid suspicion but felt cooped up so he ended up living in the forest (with Sophist) instead. Peritia already has a Starling of their own, though the character hasn’t been developed yet lol. I hope that makes enough sense!

As for Toxico, it is still there but under a severe corrupt entity. You could say that it’s in ruin with civilians still there. When I was working on this AU I still hadn’t quite figured out who/what to make the main evil entity so there is still some holes and things I need to tweak if I ever work on this again.

poly crashers headcanons because i’m bored (in no particular order)

vernias is the touchiest of all of them, and initiates contact the most

vern also loves giving forehead kisses, and will tilt the others’ faces down to do so

brent is the least touchy, but the most clingy

he also enjoys fidgeting with their fingers (all of them do this to some extent, but he does it the most)

sophist has trouble initiating contact, but he is touch-starved and really enjoys it

(they catch on eventually and start being more intentional with their contact)

nick is the most likely to initiate a kiss

all of them enjoy having their hair played with

sophist gets anxious about subconsciously having favorites

brent is very very comfortable around his partners, and is very very uncomfortable around everyone else

both brent and eevee space out often staring at the other two (and at each other)

brent Observes, sophist Stares

brent does not change his behavior at all since dating, besides cuddles and a few more joke opportunities

nick is the only one who gets jealous, and just kind of stews in it for a while before somebody catches on and (lovingly) tells him that he's being stupid

vern is really good at flirting and will make it his life goal to fluster the others

nick is the only one who can successfully flirt back, they will typically escalate it before being told to shut the fuck up

Short little Star Crashers AU dabble with Vern and Sophist :3

Tw: Blood and describing wound

Word count: 853

Synopsis: Vernias worries about Sophist’s health and cute fluff ensues.

Two and a half hours since Sophist left to gather ingredients for one of his spells.

Vernias started to anxiously fidget around the small cottage. Pacing back and forth, contemplating whether to go looking for the man or not.

The starling had no idea which direction the magician even went in. And still being new to the Peritia forest, he wouldn’t know how to get back either. All Vernias had to go off of was, “going to get ingredients! Be back in about an hour, I’ll be alright.”

He knew Sophist could handle his own but… what if he couldn’t? The shadows have been darker recently and even if purple menace was half shadow himself, there is no alliance in the dark.

Maybe he could just fly up to look around the area? No, the trees are too dense. Contact Nick or Brent? He didn’t want to bother them and Sophist hasn’t been out for that long. Try to sense his corruption? There were so many shadow creatures in the forest that he was more likely to find something else instead of him.

The flow of overthinking was cut off by the sound of the squeaky doorknob turning and the figure in all purple stumbling in.

“Eevee! Oh my stars, where the world were you!” Vernias rushes up to hug him.

Sophist lets out a pained wheezed from the strong grip of the angel, “I told you, getting stuff. Got a little caught up in something so it took longer. No need to worry!” Vernias lets go of the magician to inspect him. Now actually looking, his cloak looks more roughed up, even a little torn. His face a little dirty and top hat askew.

“What happened?”

“Nothing, I promise! Just uh… tripped over a root. There are tons of those in forests.”

Vernias gives him an unimpressed look.

“Don’t look at me like that, angel. I got what I needed and we’re all good!” He holds up a small sack and shakes it at the other for emphasis, “See? Now, I’m going to clean up so I’ll be back.”

Before Sophist could even get three steps away the starling grabs onto his arm. A hiss comes from the man. Quickly, Vernias pulls away wide eyed.

“Sorry! But I knew it, you are hurt,” his eyes soften, “Why wouldn’t you tell me?”

A defeated sigh escapes Sophist, “I didn’t want you to worry, but I see now that this is making it worse.”

“Yeah no shit, let me help you. Go sit.”

“Yes, angel,” he says with soft chuckle.

Vernias goes to retrieve their medical kit as Sophist sits in one of the wooded chairs at the small dining table. He takes off his hat and mask then ruffles his hair in a way to make himself more presentable, even though dirt is still smeared on his face. Finally, he unclasps the purple cloak and lets it fall to the floor.

As much as he wanted to ignore it, the dark stain on his sleeve showed that he in fact, was not all fine. He clutches his arm and diverts his gaze when Vernias walks back into the room.

“Don’t hide it from me, Eevee.”

Sophist huffs and relents his wounded arm to the starling. The sleeve tattered and stained with a mix of inky black and deep red. Vernias gently pulls the sleeve up the best he can without causing any more pain, softly repeating sorry when he feels the man tense.

Deep dark bite punctures pierce the pale skin with ooze leaking out. Not just blood but corruption as well. Shadow-hound bite. Vernias sneers at the thought.

“Why did you want to hide this from me? You know this doesn’t help keeping your corruption at bay. Plus, I know this hurts,” feathered wings droop in sadness which makes Sophist feel even more guilty.

“I’m sorry, Angel. I didn’t want you to worry about me more than you already do. I guess it’s the great and powerful Sophist being selfish, again.”

Vernias gives him a disappointed look, “you know I don’t like it when you insult yourself either,” Sophist looks away from him again, “… but I’m glad you are alright.”

After a few silent minutes, the wound was cleaned and bandaged. Quiet moments like these made Vernias’s stomach churn, especially when he is with Sophist. Usually the man wouldn’t shut up.

“I promise I’m not mad at you, Eevee. Just please don’t hide things from me, please?”

Sophist gives him a small smile, “I promise. I won’t be as emotionally repressed as Brent.”

Soft laughter emerges from the winged man as he hits the other on the (non-injured) arm. Sophist can’t help but to laugh with him.

“How mature of you. Really though, I’m here for you,” he places a soft kiss on top of the bandages. The feeling of dissipating corruption washes over the area.

Then he moves to place another kiss on the mark on his forehead, “And one more for good measure.”

Sophist cups Vernias’s cheek with a hand and returns the favor.

“You are so corny, angel.”

Little personal life update

IM OFFICIALLY 3 MONTHS ON T!! Everything has been going good and I’m really happy I was able to get on it :)
