One theory I had a lot popping in my head is that Riverdale is somehow a perverted reality or a version of hell due to all the energy emanating from what is going on in Greendale, as they are literally neighbour towns. Also the mines of Greendale that are also the entrance to hell may stretch far underneath the soil of Riverdale calling for the blood of its victims. Also at one point I thought that is the only explanation that seamingly the senior year of High-school never ends there, and is so hard for our hero rebels. And even our beloved characters only finally made it out of school into the world to find themselves back in High school in their 20's, and maybe forever. For me who hated High-school, that would truly be hell, and no wonder that victims of unpopularity found refuge in cults like griffons and gargoyles. Now instead of the "gargoyle King" , Satan comes back in the form of "moth man" . What are Your theories about the weird Universe of Greendale and Riverdale?
