Okay. Look. Once I thought about it for more than five seconds, I understood that you meant "Adam is the competitor with the best odds" or "Adam is the one to beat." And given his current win streak, those statements are absolutely correct. However, because I am, regrettably, somewhat unfamiliar with this particular turn of phrase,
a small moonlight costume redesign/headcanon design! Because oh my god, i never disliked it until i had to draw a humanized version of this costume....
I have... SO many issues, and while i like the costume in theory the execution was just.... ehh. Ill list my problems right here! (rant below with some ugly doodles!)
Shape Language
Why does she have SO MANY SHARP BITS. It doesnt make sense. i can let the costume get away with some, especially the crown, BUT THE SLEEVES??? WHY?? Shes the FULL MOON. Yknow. THE BALL.
Meanwhile cresent is sharp because it actually makes sense, not only does the actual cresent moon phase have actual points but shes also like... EVIL so a sharper more triangular look makes sense.
They tried giving her a rounder look, but it seems like the idea was just kinda given up on, which really sucks. Out of all the moonlights shes technically the roundest with her hair and dress, but then other elements like the sleeves take away from that!
Colors
Theres so many blues going on here and some look so bad next to eachother. In one of her illustrations her colors are way better, specifically the darker blue is way closer to the more tealish other blues, so it doesnt stick out and it doesnt hurt my eyes, sadly, that isnt the blue im forced to look at when i actually play the game!
Back to the too many blues, the amount of blues used definitely couldve been cut down, not only does this suck to color pick from for fanart, its also just cluttered.
Also theres no gold on the dress, unless you count that sorry excuse of pastel yellow.
With the blues and whites, the lack of the gold that appears everywhere else makes it look like a winter wonderland like outfit

I hate the sleeves. we know this.
but the dress alltogether just doesnt make sense to me, maybe thats my bad, maybe i just suck at reading dress designs, but not only does it feel needlessly complicated but it also feels like nothing interesting is there at all.
Ill give it this though, if your just looking at it, it comes off as pretty! it sounds like i hate this design but i dont, its fine. Infact i bought this dress before the alluring cresent one!
i just feel like some potential was... missed. And also it sucks to draw on a less chibi figure, so i made the redesign so i can have a less hard time drawing it in my own style in the future!
Originally supposed to be an "Oooo evil version of Dreamjelly cookie based on the bitter bear jelly thing" but i got too sentimental about it and i didnt wanna make them evil.

I think one of the biggest issues with discussing transandrophobia lies in the fact that people assume its detractors are saying trans men face zero struggles because transandrophobia is not real. This is not true. Trans men obviously face oppression, discrimination, and barriers of a wide variety. But these issues are not the cause of misandry or "androphobia", whereas the barriers TMAs face are caused by both misogyny and transphobia and how they intersect. To acknowledge transandrophobia as illegitimate is not to say trans men are not oppressed, but that misandry is not a real form of societal oppression - something agreed upon in most feminism circles. It's deeply unfortunate the issues of transmasculine people have been pushed aside by a small group of reactionary misandry theorists.
you know that we have tried, right? Anti-transmasculinity faced the exact same scrutiny as transmisandry and trabsandrophobia do. Furthermore, ignoring how misandry absolutely does exist and how masculinity is used as a factor in people's oppression, it's not trans-androphobia it's transANDRO phobia. We are tortured and murdered for being women who deign to step into the "masculine role".
You're playing the semantics game instead of actually supporting your trans siblings.
Outside of the insane vitriol in your message and tags, which was unnecessary, I actually think anti-transmasculinity is an excellent term to describe trans men's oppression. I'm going to use that in the future. I'm sure I've come across it before, but in my studies of queer oppression I'm realizing how good of a term it is. Saying in the tags that my opposition to the term transandrophobia is supportive of rape is pretty harsh though. You don't know me and my stances. You don't know what I do irl. I am a stranger to you. Don't spread this kind of hate and division. Thanks for the term anti-transmasculinity tho!
