Myrkr arrived on his back and all the air was knocked out of his lungs as he did so. He also hit his head and was knocked unconscious for the next three hours - until Legolas found him and shook him somewhat awake.
"Whatthef-", he slurred, eyes rolling back up for a moment before he forced them to focus back on the blond above him. "Oh?"
He blinked a few times. He didn't remember how he got there. Head throbbing, he furrowed his brows. The stab wound that was on his lower abdomen was still fresh, it also throbbed with pain, but it stopped bleeding on it's own and already started to heal. Myrkr smiled up at the elf with a dreamy smile.
"Am I in Valhalla? Because damn you're fine~"
Friend. Myrkr paused at that and glanced up at the elf with a half smile. He knows magic, he thought instantly, there're no gasps of shock and billions of questions - this a magical realm.
"Oh, I'd get more familiar with you, handsome", he just could not resist; the blond was otherworldly beautiful to him. Was it delirium? Perhaps, perhaps not. Myrkr let out a soft huff as he glanced around. "Greenwood", he murmured. "That's a rather less creative than I thought it'd be." His ice blue eyes shifted back on the man's face. Myrkr licked his lips. "I've came from another realm. Earth - or Midgard, as Asgardians call it. Ever heard of it?"
While he got his strength back, he could ask a few questions and keep looking at those beautiful features. If this was a sign he was dying and imagining things - he'd enjoy every second of it.
"That- you have a bow?" He furrowed his brows when he finally could focus on something other thwn the stranger's face. "An actual bow?"
A dusting of pink colored the elf’s pointed ears at such bold words aimed at him. No one in his realm would dare to talk to the prince in such a familiar manner, but Legolas would not lie and say that such attention was unwelcome particularly from such an attractive man.
“Forgive me for not making the translation something more exciting. I shall endeavor to go back in time and rewrite my entire language to entertain you more.” The words were teasing, more open than Legolas normally allowed himself to be, but there was something about the stranger that made him want to play. “Earth... I have heard some refer to our world as Middle Earth but never something such as Midgard. Or of an Asgardian. While I am young for my people, something tells me that even my father will not have heard of anything of the sort either.”
He tipped his head to one side and his hair cascaded over one of his shoulders. “Of course I have a bow. How else am I to protect myself from strange men falling from the sky?” He asked with a little smile.
A blush! There was a faint, but noticable blush! Myrkr had to smirk as he was observing the man's expression, letting his eyes drink in all the beauty he was looking at.
"Ah, go back in time? I wouldn't want you to take such a dangerous journey~ I certainly wouldn't let you go all by yourself~"
Myrkr tried to understand the explanation as he was taking calmer, longer breaths. It was hard to focus with his throbbing head, but he realised he went out of the systems known. He huffed softly as he watched Legolas tilt his head; Myrkr's blue eyes glinting with glee.
"Oh? Do you think that's needed?" His voice was now a quiet murmur, each second he felt stronger. "Spare my poor heart, then; it beats for you from the moment I first saw you."
A sweet laugh, and Legolas shook his head. “A charmer indeed. Tell me do you greet all strangers that find you after falling from the sky so familiarly? I might find myself jealous.” The prince made a show of pouting a little with his words. In truth he would feel a bit put out if this were only a game.
The man’s confession however made that slight blush darken to a brilliant red as he tried to remember how to breathe in the face of it. No one was ever so bold with him, and Legolas liked it.
“Perhaps it is not necessary.” Was all he could think to say as he looked the man up and down again. He was certainly different than anyone Legolas had met before and it was a pleasant change.
Clearing his throat, Legolas looked around them. “When you feel that you are able to walk it would be wise for us to go to my father’s keep. These woods are not safe for two of us alone.”
