I hate to break it to you, but if Mandalore had been pew-pew mercenaries during TCW they still would have lost. We know this, because they were pew-pew mercenaries during the purge.

Satine being a pacifist did not "weaken" them. She didn't leave them "defenceless" or set them up for failure.

If DW had been in charge, if the Old Mandalorian conquerers had been in charge, if Jango, or Jaster, or Boba had been in charge they still would have fallen because THE GAME WAS RIGGED.

That was the whole point, friends. Palpatine rigged it. Mandalore was fucked from the get-go.

But Satine gave them 4 extra years of safety. Four years where they weren't under threat of Separatist invasion, or Republic usurpation. Four years where they weren't losing citizens to fighting on distant planets, or as victims or hostages of Palpatine's cronies. She gave them four extra years of education, and artistry, and family, and growth. She gave them four years to prepare, to immigrate, to plan, to fall in love, get married, have kids, go to school, learn a trade, get smart. Four years to learn what corruption looks like. Four years more to learn to fight back.

I may have my issues with TnB cour 2 but when they said that the police are jealous and vindictive, incapable of dealing with the city’s crime despite their expensive high-tech equipment, more interested in harassing members of a minority group than catching actual criminals…well that was very sexy of them

FUCK, I though it was just another lucky meme but LISTEN. Since a week ago I was waiting a phone call to confirm me if I got a job or not in my university. I reblogged this yesterday’s night “just for fun and because I don’t want any bagel to be mad with me”, and today’s afternoon, while I was losing my time as always, the professor I was supposed to work with called me and asked me for my personal information to start working with her.
