last one is from type specimen
finally done with type specimen, now for the inside poster.... here is some process looked cool :D
pink is final>>>>looks so much better! I am happy with the layout, it was difficult because the width of each letter is not the same. Making it look unified took a while...
type specimen
now that the glyphs trial is over, I had to edit in illustrator and or indesign, which is not as easy as it was in Glyphs. It is fun to think of ways to show the type, ever though I have never made a typeface before. Ive also had to change a few times the order of the letters, because just like in english alphabet, there is an order. and since they read right to left, it starts from right to left.
brainstorming + doubting if I even need a interactive feature.
only good idea ive had is having separate parts of the letters and have the bases have the number of dots along with specific name. If i leave out the name written phonetically in latin characters, they can match up and have to create the word. it makes sense my head, but i don’t know what I would make it out of...
the program has officially expired, and could not get the kerning.....
process for inside booklet, i will have to make a few changes, i mixed up the tenses, and apparently the -Girl you are a camel- cannot be said. Like in arabic, everything must agree with gender so technically you cannot say girl you are a camel because camel in arabic has two different words for a female camel. If I would want to keep the same idea, i i will have to creatively decide what essentials parts I want to keep-aspect of girl-aspect of camel? ?
thinking about incorporating type.

nice to meet you experiments. I enjoy these words because of the implications and ideas that come out. When you meet someone there is no judgement, it is a clean slate, sometimes a bit awkward, you don't understand each other. Also reflects off my limited vocabulary, along with chicken, bread and bathroom.
