We’re having a bonfire in two days time. I’ve put together a summertime burning log to celebrate the coming to an end of the hawthorn season. The heart is packed with rosemary, in remembrance of a friend recently passed.

Should I continue with my Drag course? Firm suggestion to give it up from the cards. In the end, I offered to quit, was convinced to stay and given a new burst of energy - and then persuaded to push it back until September. Probably the best of all worlds.

To Sweeten Another’s Feelings: Write their name and yours on slips of paper. Roll together and place in the bottle. Pour the honey into the bottle, think deeply of those involved. Place a thin candle into the bottle, light and watch it burn down. Cork the bottle and seal with beeswax.
