Tony Curtis with a seamstress on the set of Some Like it Hot (1959). He admitted he was "so scared to be playing a woman" that he was "tightly wound" on the set, unlike his co-star Jack Lemmon, who embraced the drag aspects of the role. Curtis was never comfortable in the female costumes but playing the role of "Josephine" certainly paid off. The movie became a critical and financial success and is widely regarded as one of the most successful comedies in Hollywood history.
Finally, to culminate this passage, in big swaths of color and against a backdrop of the nighttime Parisian skyline, Mia and Sebastian DANCE... This is the last time we’ll ever see them dance, and they seem to recognize that, so graceful and poised are their movements... Remember -- this is a romance more perfect than a real romance could ever be...

Bette Davis at a record signing in 1976 for her album, Miss Bette Davis Sings. It was an EMI record release from the U.K. recorded at Abbey Road Studios. The album spotlighted a mix of songs and spoken word dialogue from her film career and features songs like "They're Either Too Young or Too Old", "Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte" and "I've Written a Letter to Daddy". It was a limited release that quickly went out of print before being reissued later.
