I just remembered I’ll have to replay the game 10 times and reread all the dialogue after the 5 demo. Monty mentioned how Trotter lost his eye in his story. In my old design for Trotter, the scar under his eye was the reason he was missing it, but now that’s just an outdated headcanon. So, I’m working on a design for my favorite character.

I think this is a personal thought or ramble from me, but I get another wrinkle in my brain when creators that make 'x reader' in any kind of fandom, instead of making a literal grey area where people feel like it can be anyone. Instead they already give the alleged 'you' a: name, physical appearance, background story. It is very annoying to see. 🫩 At this point just tag it as an OC man.

having internet friends is the same as having irl friends but backwards. when you first meet someone irl the first thing you see is your face, and the first thing you learn is their name. maybe you ask where they're from, what their family is like, what they like to do in their free time. you have to figure out if you want to be friends. but if you make friends over the internet, you already have a shared interest. you might learn each other's routines, timezones, different habits. but learning their real name is a big deal. face reveals are an even bigger deal. the things you usually first learn about someone are some of the last things you learn about someone you meet online. you're making friends, but backwards.

i think what it is is when you meet someone online, first and foremost you see their heart. instead of seeing things that could be easy to judge, like appearance or certain habits, you see what their personality is like, how they act. you see the person for who they are inside rather than how they might seem outside.

of course there's exceptions to this because its also very easy to put up a front online, but like. that is part of what makes online friendships so special i think. you see their heart
