I implore the lis showrunners to improve the characters' hygiene:
Chloe takes off her boots before she dances on her bed
Max doesn't touch Dana's pregnancy test
Max wears flip flops in the dorm common areas like the carpeted hallway and the showers
No roaches in Two Whales. No roaches anywhere
Max stops by her dorm to take a shower after playing in the junkyard and laying down on train tracks
Max and Chloe each take a shower after the pool shenanigans and put their clothes through the wash at the earliest opportunity
Everyone at the Vortex Club party wears shoes. I don't care that it's a pool party you can tell just by looking that every surface is sticky and it stinks
Victoria accompanying Taylor to the hospital, giving her support as she visits her mom.
During those visits, she finds brief moments of levity in overhearing chismis among some of the nurses. But after a few weeks, just when the gossip's getting spicy, a nurse asks Vic a quick yes/no question and instead of yes she reflexively answers with opo.

Also I would've sold my soul to canonize half-Filipino!Vic lmao. I can't even really explain why that hc was so immediate and is still very dear to me without divulging Too Much about myself and my loved ones, but there's a lot about Vic that has always felt very familiar to me.
I haven't looked too much into the actors and their previous work, and in the past only thought about fancasts by physical similarities, so there's not a lot of substance to my thoughts, so please bear with me lol
Starting with Nathan, I'm not expecting the showrunners to do much with his character -- that's not to denigrate the actor or even the showrunners, just the reality that Nathan, as depicted in canon, is almost antithetical to lis's themes and not a favored character by most lis fans, so, thinking from the showrunner's perspective, it doesn't really make sense to spend time on his character given that within the story his arc doesn't really go anywhere meaningful.
So I'm a little surprised that, afaik, Nathan's actor is the youngest of the cast so far. Even before seeing his year of birth and taking necrotic damage, I saw a few recent pictures of him and was like…that's a child. I think it'd be easier to depict Nathan as intimidating and dangerous with an actor in his early-/mid-twenties rather than a teenage actor, not to say that the casted actor is unskilled or incapable, but maybe the showrunners have the intent of portraying Nathan in a more sympathetic light? At any rate, imo an interesting choice
For Vic, I'm curious whether the showrunners were deliberately seeking out a gnc / nb actor to portray Vic. There are a few hints in canon, but it'd be interesting to see some focus put on Vic's exploration of her gender identity, whether it ties in with her performative attempts at heteronormativity, like flirting with guys as a form of self-harm despite being very gay. At any rate I'm glad to see a non-binary actor portray a (albeit not confirmed in canon) gender non-conforming / non-binary character.
…But I still wish that a person of color or mixed descent was cast for Victoria.
The only characters that have a non-trivial role in later lis games (more than a single picture or passing reference) are Max, Chloe, Vic, and David Madsen. In the bae continuity they are also canonically the only survivors from Arcadia Bay. So while it seems like the showrunners are making a stronger attempt at representation than the game -- and don't get me wrong I'm glad to see them make an effort -- I wish that we had some form of representation in the characters who aren't discarded by the series or killed in a tornado. I wish we had more representation in major roles too :/

Nathan has a framed photo of his dad on the top shelf of his dresser. Nathan's dad is wearing the same outfit in his photo with Nathan, but he might be younger in this solo picture -- his temples aren't graying.
A set of graded assignments. The middle and rightmost ones are on his computer desk, but I couldn't find where the others are located in the overworld.
Manila folder and photos. I believe the folder is at his study desk, but its opening is facing the opposite wall -- I couldn't get a glimpse of the photos in the overworld.

Leftmost is of a girl, I think? They're facing the camera and appear to be wearing a semi-flared dress or skirt -- maybe Vic, but I don't think we ever see her dress like that.
Bonus: in game I think Nathan has a half-dozen pens in different colors at his desk, but for a moment this texture had me convinced he was one of those kids who uses those multi-color pens to take notes lol

Middle left is unclear, looks like beer funnel shenanigans. Wouldn't be surprised if that's Nathan drinking from it, but with the height difference (and identical skin tone and hair color), at a first glance I thought that was his sister Kris holding the funnel upright, but that raises several more questions lol

3 is Kurt Hummel-adjacent, wearing a belt AND suspenders. Truly in every conceivable universe, it is a mystery why Evan isn’t bullied constantly
Is that a beanie or earmuffs? Anyway 4 went to the mall with Rachel and when she said guys like a plunging neckline top his neurodivergent ass took her word as gospel. Evan’s other friends can’t tell whether or not Rachel is fucking with him.
Uh I got nothing for 5, except it’s the least dorky outfit and therefore the least suitable outfit for Evan. But early/mid-twenties Evan with forearm tattoos checks out.

During their first class, Rachel tells Evan good morning. He grins sheepishly then slides over the flyer he received during yesterday’s GSA meeting. Rachel would’ve participated if she knew beforehand, but she recognizes she has a once-a-year opportunity at hand.
Victoria and Nathan enter class. Rachel ignores the despaired realization dawning over Evan and asks them what their favorite Pokemon is.
“Ew, Pokemon?” Victoria says at the same time Nathan responds, “Uh, Char-Lizard?”
The entire class looks at Nathan.
“The, uh, fucking…gecko. With the…with the fire on its…tail…”
Across the room, a confused classmate calls out, “The first stage evolution or the final stage — the one with wings?”
Nathan grimaces. “The one you get at the start of the game, dumbass.”
“Oh, cool,” Rachel says. “I like Agumon.”
It takes every ounce of self-control for Evan, openly gay but closeted geek, to keep his mouth shut.
Finished Expedition 33 recently, still processing its conclusion, but tbh I was fully convinced that Lune and Sciel were building to a romantic relationship until mid-Act 2.
Sciel flirting with Verso came at me like a jumpscare lmao. I assumed she was joking like with Gustave…and then Verso had a dialogue option for flirting back, which I promptly and intentionally fumbled.
Lune and Sciel’s heart-to-heart as they lay by the campfire read to me as a shared understanding that they could have loved each other, had Lune not pulled away after they first met. They still have almost immediate chemistry twelve years later.
So naturally, given the opportunity to have Verso romance Lune, I confidently fumbled that interaction too.
