i took criminology to fulfill a sociology minor requirement. it was actually really interesting, but the exams were pretty difficult. in all fairness, though, i am much better at essays that mc exams. i took it with prof. hirschfield. if you take the class with him, taking fantastic notes is really important. hope that helped :)

Thanks for your help. I wanted to get a mac for college, but I am not too accustomed to using it, so I don't know if that would be the best idea. As much as I love apple, I am so used to the pc style. As for your comment on SSD, I think the HP Folio 13 has that, I just don't know if its better than the Sony.

HP makes a better computer in general then Sony hands down. Usually Sony makes a computer with comparable specs, but cheaply. Mac is not that hard to learn, I just got one this year and if you get Office Mac 2011, it is almost exactly the same, you don't have to use apples keynote or pages or whatever. If your heart is set on the hp/sony I say HP.

From my understanding they opted out because the rules changed where they do not have to share the exploits found anymore. Thats the whole point, to show them the security holes so they can be fixed for the public. Google is offering 1million to whoever can hack their browser and share the exploit. I'm missing the evil here....

I just found these 2 cable modems that I hacked a while ago (jtagged to install a new firmware, so that I could spoof the cable mac address). I hooked it up to see if it still worked. Huzzah, free internet! If technical aptitude was sexy, I’d be a fucking super model.
