Janet Fitch, from "White Oleander"
My hobbies include; sitting and staring for hours.
every day it gets harder to live. I get out of bed and don’t know what I’m doing, I don’t know who I am, I don’t know what I want or need. I simply do not exist.
People talk about wanting to recover so that they can re-gain their old selves, their old passions, their old interests
What do you do when you don't have an old self to go back to and re-gain? There wasn't a 'me' before mental illness or if there was I don't remember them
When you start struggling with your mental health at a young age, it becomes all that you know and your identity can become distorted around it
Now I'm an adult who has no idea what they like, what they enjoy or even how to comfort themselves
What am I supposed to do with myself and how am I supposed to find reasons to recover when it feels like drowning is all I know?
I’m dust on the couch
Melt my body down
Wrap me up in formlessness
Give me dissolution
Crushed into the crowd
I’m a spilled drink at your feet
I’m the supermarket ghost
My body an unwilling host
Gold panning for meaning
My dream catcher’s full of nightmares
I can’t even feel my body
Just buy me some time please
Leave me to dissolve
I don’t want to be alone
But I can’t hold together
Leave me to dissolve
There go all my thoughts
Spinning down the sink

Hello!!what about natal neptune conjunct draconic mars, natal moon trine draconic moon, draconic lilith conjunct draconic venus and draconic asc?💜
(Hello there!
I don’t think I’ve covered draconic charts on here yet!)
Nat Nep conj Drac Mars:
This aspect can make for a person’s soul’s ego and desires to become foggy/ uncertain in their current lifetime
They may struggle with asserting themselves against aggressive/authoritative people, these situations could make them shut down
This struggle will need to be identified and integrated into the current life time in order to fulfill the soul’s enlightening
Nat Moon trine Drac Moon:
This aspect can make for a person with intuitive talents or psychic gifts, they maybe able to pick up on others feelings/emotions/motivations
It’s likely they have a strong bond with their mother-figure/family/children, maybe this could be a karmic link
Theses are very caring and nurturing individuals so they need to stay mindful of where that energy is being directed, emotional/psychic vampires will try to take advantage of their compassion
Drac Black Moon Lilith conj Drac Venus:
This aspect can make for someone who has deep desires for love and harmony, this is someone they crave on a spiritual and healing level
Love is transformational for these people, it needs to be given in equilibrium, or else the relationship will crumble due to tension and growing resentment
This individual can possess a great feminine and sexual power, they have the ability to advocate change for females and womxn and be a source of empowerment and healing for other marginalized groups
Drac BML conj Drac ASC:
This aspect can make for an individual who has the potential to project a feminine, maybe intimidating aura
There is a lot of inner energy here that must be exerted through genuine expression of self, and forgiveness for the past self as they grow
Ascendants
So I have this hypothesis that we look more like our Draconic Asc, give off the vibes of our Natal Asc, and our initial reaction to the world is our Asc’s Persona Asc. The first part because we are born more like our Draconic charts and we are born with the genes we will have. The second part because our Natal chart is, mostly, who we are today and our most basic personality and vibes are the most basic part of the Asc. The third part because the Asc’s Persona Asc is the most Asc it can get and thus is the initial reaction of our initial reaction to things in our life/the world around us. So here are short descriptions for each of those…

Sun Signs
I feel like we sometimes get way too caught up in all the different intricacies of natal charts, draconic charts, and persona charts etc etc. And we forget that at our core, we are our Sun signs. Everything else in astrology is just a modification of that Sun sign. Think of it like this, the natal chart really is just the Sun’s persona chart. And just like you don’t go around saying you are your moon persona moon, you shouldn’t exactly go around saying “I’m a Virgo moon so I feel just like a Virgo moon and nothing else.” Because really rather that Virgo moon is just a modification to your sun sign in the realm of emotions. So for example I, a Gemini sun with a Virgo moon, feel like a Gemini in that I have a lot of mood swings and a put on a lighthearted smile on the outside no matter what, but then that is slightly modified by my Virgo moon to be a bit more in-touch with my feelings like a earth sign would more so than most airy Gemini would. But as you see, it’s just a modification of the Sun sign. Just the same, a Sagittarius may generally not like commitment, but a Scorpio Venus could modify this so that even the commitment despising Sagittarius would find themselves being loyal once they really find someone they love. But I digress. My point is everything in astrology is just a modification of the sun sign, and the deeper you dig the more minute the modification. So do study your sun sign a lot, not the stupid general shit they put in magazines, but the real facts of your sun sign. Because that’s the centre of everything in your personality. Not to say that you shouldn’t study the rest of your chart, because you definitely should. Especially your rising and moon sign. But always remember that if you’re a Leo, nothing in your chart is going to override that. You’ll always have Leo traits.
So that was a long introduction to this post, I apologize I’m a Gemini so I talk a lot lmao. Anyway, I’m just going to do some (brief) descriptions of the Sun signs so you can maybe reconnect with it a bit?
Aries: Think of Aries like The Fool in tarot (although I’d think most Aries would get a bit annoyed with that description, they can, at their worst, be a bit aggressive and blindly arrogant.) they’re about to step off the cliff, they are brave out of lack of thoughts of the consequences. They can be quite reckless and sometimes this can lead to them making poor decisions. They’re the fearless leaders, and inner children. They aren’t afraid to get what they need, and they can be very assertive. They may also be a bit stubborn and bossy, but also passionate and they make good leaders. Aries enjoy physical activity, whether that be of the more Martian sexual kind, or sports, or simply working very hard etc. Aries are the kind to always pretend to be happy and to be unable to be hurt, even if that obviously isn’t always true. They also have this “I’d love to be your friend but cross me and you’re dead” persona. In friends and partners, they need excitement in all of there relationships. They’ll get bored otherwise, and they also need to have more of the control, because Aries can actually be quite controlling. As previously mentioned, physical touch is also of importance. Aries would often like to think of themselves as independent, but really it is that they need to be in charge, they need to be the leader of their clique or workplace etc. It’s really hard to tell an Aries “no.” without them getting extremely upset, maybe even immaturely so. When Aries feel things, they feel them passionately and strongly, but as previously mentioned, they feel that they need to only show their best emotions in order to keep up their persona. At their best, Aries are confident, optimistic, honest, goal achievers. At their worst, Aries are selfish, childish, short-tempered, and impulsive.
Taurus: A fixed earth sign? Definitely the most stubborn out of the zodiac. Taurus can be very stubborn and headstrong, also somewhat selfish like Aries. Although the difference is that Taurus are selfish when it comes to material things. Of course this headstrong aspect can make it so if you tell them to do something, they’ll do the opposite. Same goes with if you tell them they can’t do something, they’ll do it. Taurus can be very materialistic, since they desire and need comfort and possession related security. They like nice things, comfortable things, etc. A Taurus will be very upset if they’re running low on money, and they may feel at their happiest when somewhere with a lot of material comforts or things they are familiar with, such as their home. Taurus dislikes change, it stresses them out a lot because they don’t know what to expect of if things will be as good as they were before. As stated, they love the feeling of security. Taurus is also very in touch with the senses, that plus their Venusian archetype of indulgence is probably where the stereotype of them loving food comes from. Although many Taureans do actually love food, they may also indulge in shopping and/or sleep. But of course with Taurus being a Venusian earth sign, they are very sensual, and thus are likely to also indulge in sex. That being said, physical contact is important in relationships to a Taurus. Taurus also, as previously mentioned, do not like change or inconsistency and thus need a long and loyal relationship, because they need that feeling of consistency and security, and they can be quite possessive and protective. Taurus feel things very deeply and they can also be very romantic, they’re emotions are beautiful yet dark like those of their sister sign Scorpio. They can also be very intimidating when angered and they can hold a long grudge. At their best, Taurus is reliable, patient, attractive, romantic, stable, and one of the most loyal signs. At their worst, Taurus are selfish, stubborn, possessive, lazy, and insensitive.
Gemini: This sign is the extroverted expression of Mercury. They love communication, even the shy Geminis get a excited when someone speaks to them. Gemini’s have quick minds, and they need mental stimulation. They often are doing many things at once and they do things quickly. Speaking of doing things quickly, they learn very quickly and they love learning and studying new things. Geminis hate being bored more than anything, they always need something to do, thus why multitasking is a common Gemini activity. Geminis love socializing and interacting with others. But, they like to keep things lighthearted and most if not all of their friendships are very surface-level. Geminis, like they’re sister sign Sagittarius, can also be described as very noncommittal in one way or another. For some this means it is very difficult for them to commit to a relationship, for other’s this means they are very indecisive and maybe unreliable. Gemini are able to adapt to new situations or people very easily, this likely is the origin of their two-faced stereotype because they don’t really have one fixed personality, they change who they are to get along with different people more. So if they’re trying to be friends with a Scorpio they may ask more deep questions for more interesting conversation, or if they’re trying to socialize with a Aries they may be more lighthearted and adventurous than usual. Speaking of which Gemini is the sign of short journeys so day trips are very common for them and make them very happy. Geminis in relationships need someone who isn’t too clingy, and someone who can match them on a mental level. They love and need much communication in relationships, and a lot of this communication can be quite flirty and affectionate because Gemini is just a very flirtatious sign in general. Geminis can be quite moody in their emotions and they’ll be really sad one minute then excited and energetic the next. At their best, Gemini are curious, intelligent, fun, adaptable, and friendly. At their worst, Gemini are inconsistent, unreliable, liars, and can be very nervous.
Cancer: The crab, Cancer is a very emotional and sensitive sign that has a hard outer shell. They may seem very cold and uncaring at first with that hard outer shell, but really they are quite the opposite. They are very caring and protective of those close to them, especially their family. This shell of the crab may also be expressed as being shy rather than cold, these people don’t enjoy talking too much about their personal life. These are very private people, but it’s often because they are easily hurt. Cancer has this stereotype of being kind of a crybaby, but really they’d only ever actually cry in front of those they are very close to otherwise they’ll hold it all in, even if they are feeling very emotional. Like Taurus, Cancer desires security. The difference is here it is more about emotional security. So while a Taurus may find they’re sense of security it the home, it’s slightly different fro Cancer as in they find their sense of security with their family and loved ones. Cancer is very, very protective of those they love, they are a cardinal sign after all. I feel like Cancer really embodies the idea of being the kind of person who’d die for those they love. Cancer individuals are very kind and loving, and in a very deep way. So in a relationship a Cancer would need someone who’d loyal and sympathetic, someone they can really talk to a trust. A Cancer wouldn’t do well in a on again off again relationship or a relationship with someone who’d more distant because Cancer doesn’t like having to put up their hard shell for those they love. Cancer feels a lot, it is the sign of the moon and they are no strangers to emotions. They feel things and understand them, but they keep them to themselves. At their best, Cancer is sympathetic, understanding, loyal, persuasive, and can be very helpful out of love. At their worst, Cancer can be cold, manipulative, moody, insecure, and very untrusting and closed off.
Leo: Leo is the lion. They are very prideful and often feel like royalty (as opposed to their sister sign Aquarius who feels like a god). But just like the Lion, they tend to follow what other’s are doing. So they aren’t exactly trend setters, more like trend followers. This is because Leo, as much as they put on a facade of being very confident, actually cares a lot about what other people think of them and a lot of their self esteem relies on it. So they could be scared that if they do something not in the norm or currently trending, they’ll be disliked which is practically a Leo’s worst fear. Even so, Leo is certainly not “fake.” They are very loving and generous, of course they do expect something in return for this and usually what they’re looking for is attention. Because if being disliked is a Leo’s worst fear, getting attention is a Leo’s favorite thing. Of course there are still those rare once-in-a-blue-moon shy Leos, but even they will yearn for the attention of those close to them. Leo is a very expressive sign, and thus are very creative. They love to have fun with their creation to so they love things such as dance and art. Leo, being ruled by the sun, radiates a warm and friendly energy. Leo is also arguable the most loyal sign, being the fixed lion. Thus, a Leo needs a loyal and very affectionate relationship. They need to know thy are loved, this can be shown through actual acts of love such as y’know even just giving a small gift or showing appreciation for whatever the Leo gives to you (gifts are a big theme in relationships for a Leo, that’s one of their preferred ways of showing love). When it comes to feelings, Leo can feel very insecure when they are feeling more negative emotions, so they only really show their more positive ones. But they do feel everything very passionately, as a fire sign would. At their best, Leos are generous, confident, friendly, humorous and cheerful, and they have a big and warm heart with lots of love to give. At their worst, Leos are attention-whores, self-centered, stubborn and selfish, and can be a bit arrogant.
Virgo: Virgo is the introverted expression of Mercury. Virgos do like to keep themselves very busy and they do a lot of the little tasks most other people do not want to do. They are extremely hard working and pay a lot of attention to detail. But this can make them perfectionists, and that can cause them a lot of stress. Virgo is a very nervous and anxious sign, and their perfectionist trait can make them a little critical and they’re never quite satisfied with the way things are. Virgo is kind of contradictory in a way as in they’re the mutable sign of routine. They need routine in order to calm down their nerves, but they also are very subject to change of personality on the daily. Virgos are very practical in that they are always trying to come up with realistic solutions to improve something, but this is often to try and achieve something that is more idealistic and not a possible reality. This also applies to their relationships and they’re very loyal for a mutable sign, so they need to be with someone who is also loyal and who is also striving to constantly improve their relationship. They wouldn’t do well in a relationships with someone irresponsible or someone who becomes fine with just the way things are. Virgos generally like reading or math, those kind of “nerdy” things, and they like to really get things done but as previously mentioned they are the introverted expression of Mercury so they tend to like work on their own and do their own thing. Virgos do like communication as a Mercurian sign would, but they’re generally more quiet about it and are less likely to initiate conversation than a Gemini, but I can assure you they have tons of conversation going on in their head. When it come to feeling things Virgo can be very self-critical and anxious leading to a lot of negative emotions, but at their best Virgo can use this to feel a lot of motivation. At their best, Virgos are practical, helpful, loyal, and are very intelligent. At their worst, Virgos are critical, anxious, they overwork and can be very shy.
Libra: Libra is a very social and friendly sign. Like Leo, they are a trend follow, they like to fit in and be liked. When I say Libra is a friendly sign, I really mean it. Libras hate confrontation and arguments more than anything. So in order to avoid such things they may be very friendly and cooperative, but they could also be passive-aggressive. Also in their attempts to be liked, and for other reasons like being the scales and thus being balanced in both side, they are one of the most indecisive signs. While Taurus is the more introverted expression of Venus, Libra is the more social and extroverted expression of Venus. They love socializing and love having many close connections. This may make it so Libras have a lot of different romantic relationships, because they can be distance like an air sign but they long for romance and love, but they fear to go too deep. Libras are also often found to be attractive by most people and they flirt a lot, and they love indulging in beauty products and fashion. Libras are also very diplomatic, they don’t like things to be fair they like things to be just. After confrontation, injustice is a Libras least favorite thing. Libras at first can be a bit “fake.” They try to make themselves as desirable as possible, even if it isn’t who they really are. In order to keep a Libra in a relationships you have to be very romantic, they love romance. Make yourself visually appealing, and give them their distance. Treat them with words of love such as “I love you”’s and compliments. When it comes to their feelings Libra’s will repress any sort of anger or aggression in favor of trying to be logical in situations. They can be very easily hurt, actually. They’re quite soft. At their best, Libras are diplomatic, friendly and social, beautiful and romantic, and charming and gentle. At their worst, Libras are superficial, passive-aggressive, indecisive, and fake.
Scorpio: Scorpio is the sign of Mars and Pluto, thus it’s safe to say that they are very intense. They take things very seriously, life isn’t all fun to them. They don’t open up and trust people easily, so they can actually seem a bit superficial and fake at first. But really they are quite deep, and they take things very seriously. They’re also very passionate about whatever interests them. For many Scorpios things that interest them are mysteries of the world, or the taboo. Scorpios can also be very passionate physically, being ruled by both Mars and Pluto makes them interested in both physical and emotional intimacy. In relationships, Scorpio is extremely loyal and loving. They need a deep and bonded connection, they need someone who will be there through everything and anything. Thus a Gemini or some other more lighthearted sign or sign that needs space like Aquarius may be ill fit for a Scorpio. They also need a lot of physical contact in their relationships, so they aren’t likely to end up in a relationship with someone who doesn’t enjoy that as well. In relationships and close friendships Scorpios can be very possessive and jealous, they sometimes even feel that they don’t really love someone if they don’t feel that way. Scorpio is a very strong sign, but this is from pain. They feel things very deeply but hardly ever share these feelings, and a lot of these feelings may either be used to tear themselves down or to motivate themselves. By motivation I mean in this way Scorpio is actually more like a phoenix than a scorpion, they tear themselves and their lives completely down, intentionally or not, to build themselves completely back up again, but stronger. Scorpio is very much about death and rebirth. Scorpio is also an extremely hardworking sign, and once they get focused on something they dive into it completely. At their best Scorpios are caring, understanding, hardworking, resourceful, and brave. At their worst Scorpios are jealous, obsessive, possessive, vengeful, controlling, secretive, and overbearing.
Sagittarius: This sign is very adventurous. They love to experience new things and to be spontaneous and to travel. Experience is the most valuable thing to a Sagittarius. This includes experiences while travelling but also having experience to gain knowledge and to be intelligent. Sagittarius is a very intelligent sign in a very book-smart way. While being very skeptical, many Sagittarius individuals can be spiritual and/or philisophical. Also, while being very honest many Sagittarius people are quite unreliable. This is because Sagittarius needs a lot of space, and needs a lot of freedom. They love to just chill mentally and have fun, they’re very optimistic and outgoing. Like Gemini, Sagittarius can be very noncommittal. They’re always wanting to try something new so it’s hard for them to settle in to one relationship or one project. Like Leo, Sagittarius are very generous. Being ruled by Jupiter, Sagittarius individuals generally have a good sense of humor. Sagittarius individuals need to be in a relationship with someone who shares their morals and beliefs, they also need to be with someone who allows them to have their freedom and someone who really loves experiences over things. Because Sagittarius does value experiences way more than material things. When it comes to emotions Sagittarius people feel a need to only show positive emotions, they need to put a smile on and be cheerful. They feel things very passionately, and they may use their emotions to gain energy, as motivation. They may tend to intellectualize some of their more negative emotions. At their best, Sagittarius is optimistic, humorous, adventurous, a teacher to all, intelligent, honest and idealistic. At their worst, Sagittarius can be unreliable as in they’ll promise more than they can deliver, impatient, blunt, unable to commit.
Capricorn: These individuals are very hardworking and traditional individuals. By hardworking I mean that they are constantly working to improve themselves. Being ruled by Saturn they come up with a lot of restrictions which they need to work around, giving them a good work ethic. By traditional I mean they really value traditions, such as family traditions. They also care a lot about appearances and what others think of them. They want to be seen as if they have they’re shit together and want to be seen as very mature and respectable. Capricorn’s can be blamed for being stuck up or not fun, this may be because they like to be a sense of security for others and thus would not want to do things that would either disrupt that reputation or things that may be risky. Many Capricorn’s may find themselves having a low self esteem even if for no real reason, they’re very harsh on themselves. Capricorns also tend to be very pessimistic, and they may be very unforgiving. But they also have good impulse control and have good manners. In relationships a Capricorn needs a reliable and committed partner, and they need a relationship with a lot of the “cliché” ways to show love. When it comes to their emotions Capricorn tend to either intellectualize them or use them for motivation. Surprisingly, they also can often be found using (usually sarcastic or self deprecating) humor as a defense mechanism. They may feel very restricted by their emotions in one way or another. At their best, Capricorn’s are reliable, responsible, hardworking, caring, and very trustworthy individuals. At their worst, Capricorn’s are mean, sarcastic, shy, anti-social, stuck up, and/or “boring.”
Aquarius: No sign is as independent as Aquarius. They march to the beat of their own drum, which can cause a lot of people to think of Aquarius individuals as weird or eccentric. While Aquarius loves socializing and having many friendships, they also need to be very distant and to have their space. This can make them seem cold or aloof, even if that isn’t the case. Aquarius is a very humanitarian sign and is very innovative and progressive. But as progressive as they are, they aren’t as accepting as a sign such as Sagittarius is and Aquarius can’t stand it when people disagree with their opinions or views. Aquarius can also seem to have a God complex, and to an extent many Aquarius do feel like a god. Aquarius are very intelligent, as air signs are, and this helps with their innovative mind. When it comes to romance, Aquarius isn’t so psyched about the idea of being tied down to one person. They like having their multiple connections, so they really wouldn’t do well with someone who requires to be the centre of their attention. This can also make it hard for Aquarius to really find someone they want to be with, because most relationships do require more depth and attention than an Aquarius would by hyped about. Although Aquarius is a fixed sign, so once they do find someone they want to be with they are very loyal and caring, even if they may struggle to show anything beyond friendliness, and it is hard for them to really get into a serious relationship. Once they are in a relationship they need a lot of space, they don’t like the idea of becoming “we/us” they’d rather still be “you and I.” If that gets my point across, they’re independent. When it comes to emotions, Aquarius can really detach from them or run away from them. It’s not that they don’t feel per se, it’s more that they run away from it and ignore the fact that they are feeling emotions. At their best Aquarius are friendly, humanitarian, helpful, original, fun, and spontaneous. At their worst, Aquarius are unpredictable, distant, aloof, uncompromising, and can have a God Complex™.
Pisces: Pisces is arguable the most sensitive sign out of the zodiac. Likely because they take in and feel everything, even the emotions of those around them. This feeling of other’s emotions does make it so that Pisces needs to take quite a bit of time to themselves, even if just to separate their emotions from the emotions of those around them. This way in which they feel also makes them very sympathetic and empathetic. They’re very caring, gentle, and kind. But sometimes too much so, to the point where they start to feel like a victim or a martyr. Being ruled by Neptune, Pisces is also very artistic especially musically. Not only are they artistic but they are the most intuitive sign, they’re also extremely romantic. One of the biggest issues with Pisces is they are so easily hurt because they have this illusion they are either living in or striving for and when something gets in the way of this illusion it greatly upsets them. Pisces is also a very universal sign, they are very interested and very good at understanding the workings of the universe and are very in-tune with it. In love Pisces needs a very caring and openly loving partner, they also need someone who will help their relationship get closer to an idealistic idea of romance they have. Pisces are romantics and they need to be with a romantic. When it comes to emotions Pisces feel things, a lot. Being the fish they are quite vulnerable too, and may feel a lot of sadness and fear (even if we all do feel those emotions, many Pisces may feel such things more often.) Although they do also feel a lot of another emotion, love. They’re very sweet unless they are one of those Pisces that plays the victim. At their best, Pisces is compassionate, artistic, wise, loving, imaginative, and gentle. At their worst Pisces play the victim, live in an illusion, are overly sensitive, and can’t take criticism.

Warding
I've covered warding recently in my protection post. But here I will go into more detail on what warding is, the most popular ways to ward and how to create them as well as when to know when a ward is no longer useful or has been broken. I will also go into baneful warding and what it is.
What is warding?
Warding is a form of defensive magick which acts as your first line of defense against negativity. Be this baneful magick from another practitioner or negative entities and general negative energy. There are multiple ways to ward with each practitioner warding differently to the other. Wards come in all shapes and forms, and there is no limit as to how much warding you should do, you protect yourself as you see fit.
What is baneful warding?
Baneful warding is a form of warding in which the negative that hits a ward gets sent back to its source. Baneful warding is seen as a more "advanced" form of magick, however not too advanced for a novice to do with the appropriate amount of research. Baneful warding can come in the same forms as normal warding would.
Warding jars
Perhaps one of the most common wardings on this post, warding jats usually contain ingredients charged with the intention of warding. These ingredients usually range from herbs to bodily fluids such as saliva or blood. These jars are either buried on the practitioners property, left above entryway, left on an altar, or are carried with the practitioner when they want protection on the go.
A warding jar might contain: ashes of a warding sigil, bodily fluids, herbs and plants, crystals, bones, warding or protection oils, spices, metals, glass shards etc. These jars are then sealed with black or white wax (or are sealed in any other way, with glue, tape or simply just with intention).
When a warding jar is broken, you might find the contents of the jar to become moldy, the jar shatters, the seal might break or the contents of the jar to go off, you also might feel that the jar no longer has its power. When this happens, if the jar is intact, break the seal and empty the contents into the bin/trash or return them back to the earth. You can then cleanse the jar with your preferred method of cleansing and reuse the jar for another ward or spell.
Talismans and symbols
Talismans are objects which are charged with the intention fo protection or warding. A well known example would be the Nazar, known to ward off the evil eye.
Symbols are used to represent something or represent an intention example would be the pentacle/pentagram, a well known protection symbol. Another example could by the Eye of Horus, a symbol used by the Ancient Egyptians for protection, health and restoration.
You can create your own talismans and symbols to aid in warding. These might be used to ward against a specific thing, or can be used as a general ward to all negativity.
A talisman or symbol might break or feel like they're no longer useful once theyve done thier job. If this time comes, you can simply dispose of the old one and create a new one.
Sigils
Sigils are created and can be programmed with any purpose necessary. May this be warding ot cursing, they can be used for almost any working.
Sigils can be burnt to activate them, with the ashes being used in spells to add extra power. Sigils can be put up around your house or around your room for warding. These sigils can look like anything, simply draw them with the intention of warding.
Crystals
Crystals can be placed above entryways or in windows to act as a ward. Crystals can also be added to spells to give a desired effect or worn as jewellery to act as warding or protection on the go.
Some examples are: black obsidian, black tourmaline, clear quartz, amethyst, hematite.
When a crystal ward has been broken, the crystal might shatter, or go missing. Or you may feel the crystals energy feels different than usual. With crystals you cam simply cleanse and recharge the crystals to be used again!
Spells
Warding spells can be as simple as a dressed candle, or can be a complex ritual. Warding spells differ from practitioner to practitioner. Similar to warding jars, these spells might include the use of herbs, bodily fluids, crystals, plants etc. The methods of creating a warding spell vary, as there is no one way to create one.
When a ward breaks down, you might feel the ward break, or if it does what is intended, you might feel something bounce off the ward. Depending on the negativity sent your way, the ways in which you might feel a warding spell break down vary, this could range from feeling sluggish or nauseous to downright feeling psychic attack. (Whenever this happens, please consult a doctor, mundane before magical. What you may feel is a magical occurrence could be explained by illness, so please consult a doctor of you feel this way constantly)
Warding is a great form of protection which is used very often in a persons practice. While not all practitioners use warding, this is just to inform you of the ways you can ward to keep yourself safe in your practice!

[ (stitch with @/sorrel.hartley) What’s the most like “chronically online” take you’ve ever seen on the internet?
I have recieved a comment telling me that it was transphobic to be comfortable with my masculine body as a nonbinary person. Like, (frustrated noise). there is so much to unpack with that take but I’m gonna focus on tiktok and tumblr’s perception of nonbinary people and how damaging that is to the community.
This idea that all nonbinary people must, like you know be fucking mullet, big eyeliner, fucking skinny, white, afab. Do you like frogs, do you like mushrooms? Shut the fuck up. I sometimes feel like my pronouns are rarely accepted because its like if you don’t look in my bio you hear my voice and it’s like, oh- Makes me so angry.
Tiktok and tumblr basically set themselves up for failure when they created this perfect perception of what a nonbinary person looks like. And god forbid if you don’t fit into that box, guess you’re not valid. Me being amab does not make me any less nonbinary and you’d think thats a given but for some people its just, you know- Do you like frogs or mushrooms? I’ll kill you, what the fuck.]
Note: The issue isn’t the people who fit the stereotypes, its the stereotypes being used to determine who’s “actually” nonbinary.
Gonna put that in bold for those who might not notice it at first
Note: The issue isn't the people who fit the stereotypes, it's the stereotypes being used to determine who's "actually" nonbinary.
I can't stand when people try to INSIST that a nonbinary person isn't ~doing their gender right~. Like FUCK you! So much of being nonbinary is freeing yourself from boxes or doing whatever the fuck you like with the boxes and making it your own. There isn't a wrong way to do or be any gender, and to try and CREATE a "correct" way to be nonbinary is so gross and wrong.
Strong AGREE.
AMEN AMEN AMEN
someone explain the jewish holidays to me like i'm 5 years old
Purim: They tried to kill us, we survived. Let’s tell the story, wear silly costumes, and get wasted. (Optional: have a carnival or a play!)
Passover: They enslaved us, God freed us. Remember this via a big ceremony/feast and then don’t eat bread for a week. This is a big one; you’re going to have to clean your house and host all your relatives.
Tu B'Shevat: It’s Earth Day, let’s eat some fruit.
Simchas Torah: We read the entire Torah every year, and we got to the end! Let’s have a dance party and then start all over again!
Tisha B'Av: They destroyed our temples. That sucked.
Rosh HaShanah: Happy New Year! It’s time to ask (and grant) forgiveness for the wrongs done in the past year, pledge to do better, and wish for a sweet new year. And go to synagogue for HOURS.
Yom Kippur: Rosh HaShanah’s somber counterpart. God decides on this day your fate for the next year. Repent your sins, hope for forgiveness, and fast. (And go to synagogue for HOURS.)
Yom HaShoah: Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Sukkot: Harvest festival! Sleep in a hut under the stars.
Shemini Atzeret: Man, I don’t even know?
Shavuot: God gave us the Torah! That was pretty nice of him.
Chanukah: They busted up our temple and tried to forcibly convert us. We responded with guerilla warfare. Let’s eat some fried food. Candles!
So basically the entire Jewish holiday calendar is giving the middle finger to death and high-fiving, with or without various combinations of prayer and foods.
Yup. Or as we say, “They tried to kill us, we survived, let’s eat.”
thank you for the desc’s bcs they are beautiful and i am now educated

White rice -- brown rice, quinoa, other ancient grains.
Fried eggs -- Hard boiled eggs or poached eggs. (I also found you can put down some parchment paper on a pan and fry your egg with no oil. Same can be done with fish)
Flour tortillas -- corn tortillas
Healthier switch:
Sugary cereal -- fiber cereal ( extremely filling, best for digestion, zero sugar but taste like it does.)
Ice cream -- halo top, enlighten, and other low calorie sweets. ( Good for satisfying the craving)
Chocolate -- dark chocolate ( though higher in calories, it is indefinitely healthier. Having better vitamin content, lower sugar, and better satiation for food)
Deep fry -- pan fry (still fatty, HOWEVER, you will still get a crispy flavor and half the calories)
Juice -- smoothies ( I get it, I get it, don't drink your calories... But sometimes people just enjoy things like juice cleanse, I recommend you don't as smoothies contain more vitamin content, fiber and protein. Juice is just empty calories.)
Ice lettuce -- spinach (again, healthier, more protein. Not saying you can't eat ice lettuce)
Sour cream -- Greek yogurt
Sugar -- cinnamon ( makes things sweeter but also helps your metabolism and lowers sugar cravings)
Eating out -- cooking food. (Not really a food hack, but cooking your food gets rid of unnecessary fats and sugars that are in other people's food. It also helps you connect with your food and makes you less hungry... At least for me)
Latte -- black coffee ( do I really need to explain?)
Energy drink -- take a small ten to fifteen minutes nap.
High cal alcohol drinks -- beer, wine (better for vitamin content and calorie intake) and spiked sparkling water.
