The gryphon yelped, spinning around to find the young woman standing there. He inhaled deeply to regain his composure and sneered at her. “What do you think you’re doing, walking around like this. You should be inside, y’know?”
Alice was rather…
"I don’t need to be inside, thank you. I’m a big girl, I know how to care for myself." Alice sighed, looking up at the night sky. "Anyways, I enjoy being outside at night."
A distant rumble stirred the air. Griffin’s eyes flicked to the sky again, and he brought his arms around his torso. “Miss Liddell, i highly suggest that you go inside.” His voice was uncharacteristically shaky, and his accent blurred the words together.Â
"Mister Whatsyourname, I-" The blonde noted his gaze, and his tone. "Alright… I’ll be inside.."
"G-Griffin. Me name is Griffin." He took half a step closer. "I’m sorry. i’m not like this often." He offered a smirk, but it quickly disappeared as the lightning flashed again.Â
"I still don’t understand though, why I can’t be out here. Sure, it’s raining. And there’s thunder. And lightning. But why?" Alice bit her lower lip as he took a half step closer.
"Jabberw…sorry." Griffin shook his head and ran a hand through his rain-slicked hair. "Just something bad. So, what are you doing in the rain anyway?" His voice broke when more thunder threatened to split the sky apart. He bit his lip, holding back any noises.
"Jabberwocky…?" Alice studied him hard, her blue gaze intent. "As for what I’m doing in the rain, I enjoy being in the rain. It’s soothing to me."
"And does the lightning...remind you of anything? Anything at all?"
The gryphon yelped, spinning around to find the young woman standing there. He inhaled deeply to regain his composure and sneered at her. “What do you think you’re doing, walking around like this. You should be inside, y’know?”

(There are some types of music other than punk that Griff enjoys. This is one of them.)

Griffin stood at the edge of a cliff, somewhere beyond the forests of wonderland. His outstretched wings folded flat against his back as he glanced over his shoulder. "Well, 'ello," he greeted calmly.
The gryphon yelped, spinning around to find the young woman standing there. He inhaled deeply to regain his composure and sneered at her. “What do you think you’re doing, walking around like this. You should be inside, y’know?”

Alice was rather taken aback, and she jumped a bit as the male spoke. Quirking an eyebrow, she studied him. “Be inside? Please, do elaborate.”
Griffin rolled his eyes and gestured around him. "Inside, away from the night." He glanced briefly at the sky, which flickered white. Sucking in a breath, he repeated, "Inside. You must be inside."Â

"Good care indeed," he chuckled under his breath. Griffin exhaled slowly, his annoyance melting away. "So, have you seen Dodo lately? I’ve been looking for her all day."
She shook her head. “It’s been a few days, already. She might be looking for you, too.”
"Funny. It's almost like she's been avoiding me lately." Griffin rubbed the back of his neck and turned his gaze towards the sky. "I wonder why." He blinked once, then twice, and then looked at the mouse. "You look like a serious musician."

Ulli sat with her legs pulled up to her chest. Her eyes stared at her knees, trying hard to ignore the flashes of lightening coming in through the window, which rattled unceasingly with cracks of thunder. Whimpering, the dodo bird closed her eyes, and she wrapped her arms…
The Dodo tensed as soon as she heard the knocking. The voice registered in her mind, and for a moment, she could almost hear him screaming in terror. Not again. Before she could process anything else, she sprung to her feet and dashed blindly to the door. Her hands fumbled with the locks until every one of them was undone, and she flung the door open. She threw herself at the soaked figure on the porch, her arms wrapping tightly around his thin torso. “Griff.” she breathed into his shoulder.
"Looks like somebody's terrified," Griffin half chuckled, though the next lighting flash brought a gasp from his lungs. Holding her tighter, he murmured, "Are you alright, bird brain?"

[text] Griff wants to go out for tea. I don’t know if I’ll go.
[text] But that’s just what the tea is supposed to help with!
[text] Yes, but you said go /out/ for tea. It wouldn’t be wise to go out when I’m feeling as I am.
[text] We could go in for tea instead. Use the best chamomile, eat a little soup. It'll be great.
