I think it would be funny if in the middle of the Clone Wars Grim ended up time travelling to when Obi-Wan was a Padawan.

She looked up at the stars. She never believed in fate, but she couldn’t help but try to find it written in the sky. As if the stars would tell her, her story. As if the stars themselves could save her from this tragedy she knew awaited her. 

 The tragedy that had begun all those years ago, the one Grim had walked into. Despite everything she knew. 

 She could blame it on her awestruck youth. She could blame the fact that she had been wrapped up into something so beautiful that she never wanted to leave. She could blame it on her childish self that only saw a galaxy that she had always adored. She could blame it on every one of those early and beautiful moments. 

 But that would be a lie. She could only blame herself as of now. 

 Because she had always had a choice in this story. She knew that. 

 She always chose to stay. Even after she had been through so much of the pain that the galaxy had to offer.

 Grim always had the option to walk away. She just always made the choice to stay.

 So that was all Grim could do now. She could stay. There was no walking away at this point, it was far too late. 

 Grim had to see her own story - her own tragedy - through until the end.

Grim is funny because she’s one of the only characters aware of everything going on in the plot. She is aware of every little detail, she knows all of this. Yet she manages to have no self-awareness in the slightest.

Grim says "hello there" while having the smuggest expression on her face and I just know she has been waiting the entire war to say that to Obi-Wan.

Chapter 17: Haunted By Darkness

Grim bowed her head and clenched her hands into fists. “I know what I did!” She snapped. The Padawan looked up at him with tears filling her eyes, threatening to spill from them. “I know exactly what I did! I know what I did wrong! I know-” She choked up, unable to finish. “I know,” she repeated quietly, her voice shaking.

Grim’s outburst turned some heads of the younger padawans who were curious about what was happening. Their Masters led them away, gently reminding them how it was rude to listen in on another’s conversation.

Obi-Wan looked at Grim, and any anger or disappointment he had worn on his face evaporated. He put a hand on her shoulder, looking at her with a gentle expression and speaking with such warmth that it soothed the Padawan and calmed her. “Grim, I know you’re aware of what you did, but we both know this won’t go away without consequences. What you did-”

“I know what I did, Kenobi. I already said that I have,” replied Grim. Although still angry, Obi-Wan had seemed to calm her.

Current Grim & Anakin thought brought by the latest chapter of tcwganv (that Anakin wasn't even in or mentioned by name):

“People that you don’t ever think could, can become awful people, Master. You don’t know, and I don’t either,” she told him quietly.

Obi-Wan could see the deeper meaning to her words. “You’re not talking about yourself,” he noticed.

“Who else could I be?” Grim asked. “I’m the only story I don’t know.”

Grim is clearly talking about Anakin here. Except when she says "and I don't either" that doesn't line up with what has clearly been established. She does know Anakin, she sees him as Vader all the time. She knows exactly what he'll be.

Except she never admits it to herself. She never admits that Anakin will become Vader. She always sees him as Vader, but never will admit to herself that is who he could become. She doesn't want to explore that possiblity.

So she fools herself that she doesn't know Anakin's story. That he'll become Darth Vader. Except she still knows. She won't say it out loud until it's too late, but she knows. Deep down she always knows, which is why she also says “I’m the only story I don’t know.”

Anyways Grim never wants to admit that Anakin will become Vader and so she fools herself that he won't be while always knowing he will :)

"Worry about the plot! I worry about the plot every day! Be glad I only told you the plot of a single episode and not the whole series and a movie."

"And somehow I know there's even more plot than that that you worry about."

Dear Ben Kenobi,

Thank you, for everything.

You took me in when I had nobody. You showed me a place to call home when I had lost my own. You taught me so many things. I am grateful to have been your student. To have been your daughter.

I'm sorry I couldn't change your story. I couldn't stop this from becoming our ending. I'm sorry for all the pain you've had to endure. And I'm sorry for leaving you alone.

I can't stay here any longer. We both knew I wouldn't. I went with you for comfort. I wasn't ready to face the galaxy alone. Especially not as it had become. I needed to find my story, so I decided to figure out my next chapter in your company.

And I have discovered that chapter. A chapter where I will once again fight against the darkness. Where I can save as many lives as possible. As long as there's the slightest chance. I've left to join the rebellion.

The Clone Wars may have ended. The Jedi may be gone. But the war has only just begun. I have to fight.

I hope you will soon discover your next chapter as well. Your story doesn't have to end. Not yet.

Revenge Of The Sith, Pre-Order 66, 19 BBY

It has started. I don't know how much time I have left. All I know is that the ending has officially begun. Master Kenobi, Skywalker and I just came back from rescuing the Chancellor. I had planned to kill him on that mission but it fell into Sidious's plan anyways. Again.

Hopefully I can stop Sidious from executing Order 66 but if I couldn't even stop Skywalker from killing Dooku what are my chances? Hell, I was so close to actually telling the Jedi Council everything but I still just couldn't do it! What else could I have to lose? Well, I suppose I shouldn't say that considering the events.

On a more positive note I at least know the part of the timeline I'm at for certain! And my age rather than a vauge guess. Which is good. I haven't been wanting to tell Master Kenobi I didn't even know how old I am. At least success or failure I'll be able to keep track of time based off the ages of the Skywalker Twins. I hope.

Well I should get going. I have a universe to save and a Sith Lord to stop!
