London lyricist Nolay first announced herself to the scene in 2004 as part of Unorthadox Family, and a consistent back catalogue of solo mixtapes and albums has kept her as relevant today as she was then. Nolay has toured Europe extensively, and has worked with artists as varied as Ghetts, Tricky, and DJ Zinc amongst others. Nolay is often mentioned as being one of the best female MCs - this is wrong, she's one of the best MCs full stop. Nolay also played the roll of Mandy in Channel 4's 'Top Boy'.

Dump Valve Recordings, the east London record label that was set up by Geeneus, Target and Slimzee. After making some money from the pay as you go days the guys decided to create a label dedicated to putting out dark garage and grime tunes made by family and friends within the circle, putting out legendary tunes like “earth warrior” as early on from 2001, releasing tracks from the likes of Wizzbit, Wiley, Scratchy D, Wonder and Danny Weed. Dump Valve can be considered a successful label for its consistent output of bangers in the scene and its attractive artwork which at the time not many people were releasing full colour vinyls.

Jme the mc, producer and CEO of Boy Better Know, from Tottenham north London and younger brother to Joseph Junior Adenuga. Both starting out in the Meridan crew with Big H, Bossman Birdie, Dan, President T and Paper Pabs. In the early stages they were on the legendry radio station dejavu, during this Jme would release a large amount of tunes on vinyl, then in 2006 he released his first vocal mixtape Shh Hut Yuh Muh with more editions being released months after. Over the years Jme has changed his style, starting off with a more aggressive approach to emceeing in his merdian days when on radio sets but when it came to recording songs jme would keep his funny comedic but conscious lyrics through his mixtapes and albums. With three full length albums jme has reached commercial success with his third LP Integrity, hitting the uk albums chart at number 12.

Part of the current batch of young mc’s coming up in today’s grime scene, straight out of west London, appearing on radio sets along side with AJ Tracey, Big Zuu and the YGG crew. Jay amo’s mic skills are sharp for someone that hasn’t been spraying for too long, weed bars and violent lyrics is what Jay is all about with a lot of hype to match up with it, tracks like ROTW and Violation show that he isn’t an mc to play around with.
