SKRIPTURE 'BARKS' UP THE RIGHT TREE FOR HIS DEBUT RELEASE
Once you step on the True Skool stage you're an alumni for life. So it's with great pleasure we shine a light on the lyrically agile Skripture, who edutained the audience at December's True Skool, alongside ShezAr, DDark and FAB (Fonti & Bushkin).
'Bark (Back It Up)' is his debut self-produced single. Out now on new independent record label No Help No Handouts, the single is an infectious hip hop banger blending well crafted lyrics and bumping beats. A gifted live performer and musician, Skipture has already secured co-signs from hip hop heavy weights such as Shortee Blitz is set to make waves if the sampler album tracks we've heard are anything to go by. This first salvo includes the original version, a radio edit and the instrumental as well as grime inspired remix by UK grime producer Levlz. The single sets the pace for the fledgling imprint as they craft out a name for talent and quality music. Shouts out to John Hendrickse and the team.
