I work in talent HR and I feel like everyone I talk to needs to realize that I know what the fuck I’m doing. I just had someone man explained to me what I wrote in an email because he “ already was aware of the situation”. And then in the next breath, he asked me how he was going to login to submit his background paperwork.

It’s in the email.

I also just explained to him over the phone what was going to happen.

I shit you not this man called me back five minutes after I hung up the phone.

Playing re9 and I am just in awe.

This team clearly looked at the criticism of 7 and 8 and said let’s make it better.

Grace’s VA is SO good. Leon’s action scenes are perfectly proportioned to the space. The two play styles took me a second to really grasp but as soon as I clicked, it has been magnificent.

I don’t think I’ve actually been so scared, also hearing my name has ME constantly on a swivel.

This game is exactly what I needed. Also hearing Leon say myyyyy name is putting the realism to a new level. Dream come true. 🤭

I finished the game last night and I think this is going to be one of my favorite resident evil in the franchise!

Going back to RPD and having it feel exactly like the game (in play style) while also seeing the reality of the occurrence of this rapture… and seeingthe grief of it all also captured on Leon’s face was something I never thought would invoke such a emotion in me. I actually have to pause a few times to wipe away tears … because all he wanted to do was be a cop 😭

Now everyone knows grace is my favorite character, but she outdid herself. It was realistic, she actually had growth that wasn’t too far-fetched for the situation, and her alongside the reality of what Zeno is asking her to do, her performance was amazing. That’s quick thinking, but it’s realistic quick thinking.

Also, just gotta give a shout out to the art because some of the camera shots of the scenes were done so well! The overall contrast between the characters and their scenes was amazing. And don’t even get me STARTED on the mocap and VA work.

Ugh I’ll be thinking about this game for a while and I haven’t felt this way since Village.

Okay time to finish the rest of the backlog
