The people who are shocked about Roy being often shirtless must not have played Eldarya lol. Roy is the Valkyon of New Gen, the guy who wore a crop top armour and used to say 'a body is just a body' with no ulterior motive. Which I get it, personally I don't immediately think of sex when I see a naked chest, imo it's not sexual if you're not making it sexual. At this point Roy walking around half naked is more a meme for the lols than anything else. And yeah I'd feel the same if he were a woman.

Yes, I agree that Roy being 99% shirtless is his "gimmick". He's essentially the "eye candy" and "hot guy" of the group, but surely, as a character, he is more than just his sex appeal? Maybe the people that are shocked, wants him to be more than just muscles and abs?

I'm not saying that it is wrong to make his body as his 'thing' but at the current game state (the story, event teasers), I'm only seeing that as his ONLY 'thing' and that saddens me.

I may not know much, but I feel like if that trait of his is solely focused on/constantly advertised then quite frankly, I believe that shows a lack of depth in his portrayal.
