Our Elizabethan-inspired Good Queen Bess tile pulls symbolism from two sources: a young Elizabeth, future queen, who took to adding a looped quatrefoil flourish to her signature (mirroring that of her father, Henry). And the bold, intricate hedge designs of Tudor knot gardens where the quatrefoil–a symbol of luck and harmony–could also commonly be found.
