I want to know what happened during 5 million years of the Great War on Cybertron in G1.
I bet Optimus wasn’t so different from Megatron back then.

WSince there was a request for revolvers, let’s talk about one of the most fun ones I’ve had the pleasure of playing with.Â
Pictured above (from Wikipedia, not my own picture sadly) is the Smith & Wesson Model 460. As implied by the name, it’s chambered for .460 S&W but can also handle .454 Casull, .45 Long Colt, and .45 Schofield. A friend of mine has one and I’ve been able to fire three of those found rounds out of it (he’s never found any .45 Schofield ammo for a reasonable price). Depending on what round you fire the experience ranges from “fun” to “not fun” to “sweet tap-dancing Jesus on a bicycle!”
.45LC, being the weakest of the three, is fun. The gun itself is quite heavy so you don’t get much recoil from that round (relatively speaking) but there’s still a satisfying “bang” and .45 caliber lead is never anything to sneeze at.
.454 Casull was not fun. It had a very sharp jerk to it - if you’ve ever fired a Glock in .40 S&W and compared it to 9mm, it’s like that but more so. It’s not unmanageable but frankly given the other options I can’t see a reason why I’d want to shoot it more.
.460 S&W…. holy shit. When we fired that the first time, the range STOPPED. Every damn person had to turn and stare at this fucking hand cannon, sounding like a damn bomb going off with each trigger pull. Surprisingly enough it feels more controllable than .454 Casull, similar to how .45 ACP feels more controllable than .40 S&W. We took this out into the desert once and used it to “securely erase” some old hard drives - take a look at the results for yourself.
