Ulquiorra sat behind the table, legs crossed and sighed softly to himself as well. Olivander had tried his best with getting a book signing event for one of Ulquiorra’s recently published books and for that the black haired man was grateful. Feeling the hand rest on his shoullder snaps his out of his inner thoughts, looking up at the other male.
“I agree… next time we can do more research on how to conduct one and advertise a bit more. Maybe we should do a signing for one of my older books which was more popular.” Ulquiorra suggested. “But anyway how about we go grab some dinner. I think we both deserve a nice sit down meal as both a cheer up and a toast to a new beginning.”
The blond a small chuckle, relieved that Ulquiorra wasn’t taking recent events to hard. There was still hope and besides, one failed book signing didn’t mean the end of the world. Besides, this failure could very well carry another seed for later opportunity! However, as much as Olivander wanted to dwell on finding that seed, hist stomach agreed with his companion’s suggestion.
“I think that is a magnificent idea,” he agreed, taking a moment to stretch. “Both of them actually, though I think we’ll address which book to try next time a bit later. For now, the question is where should we head out? I’m not in the mood for anything in particular, except Mexican food. I’ve had a little too much of that recently, so anything but Mexican food.”
Ulquiorra stood up, running his hands down his charcoal jacket to smooth out any wrinkles that had occured from sitting. He admired the young man’s spirit, which made his own spirits lift. A small smile spread across his lips.
“I see, then how about Italian then? I haven’t had that in quite some time and seem to have a craving for it, plus I could also go for a glass of wine.” Ulquiorra stretched his arms. “I know of a great Italian place not far from here.” He looked over at Olivander and smiled. He was glad that of all the people that were on this journey with him, it was this man.

Every night he couldn't sleep because of the nightmares he had reliving the horrors of his first life and the atroucities he had commited for Aizen."It's not like I don't deserve it." He replied softly. The cut to his hand was an accident from cooking earlier, but hearing her sound so worried about him. "Why should I not? I've hurt countless others, so many of them also your friends... why should I remain unhurt by my own reckless actions?"

“That it’s a setback,” the blonde said at last, venturing to put a hand on the man’s shoulder. “A temporary shortcoming that we can both come back from. We made mistakes with this yes, but we can both say that we’ve learned something from it, can’t we? Or at least I can say I’ve learned something and that I need to learn to do better.”
