“Then I guess I’m in the right place.” She said with a slight smile. “Oh I’m so glad I’m not alone in it! I honestly never thought I would miss the sounds of cars and emergency services sirens. Hm I might have to look into getting one, I’ve just been leaving the tv on in the background. I’ve grown kinda use to infomercials lulling me to sleep.” Addison laughed a little, thinking about mops and blenders at 3am. “Well, I’d rather you than me! Well I hope you get your long burn career, the world could always do with an extra Anderson Cooper. Have you been writing it for long?”
"Ah, yes," Graham said, grinning, "The sound of human suffering - everyone's favorite nighttime fare." But the teasing was light - after all, he, too, missed the sounds that prevaled in cities. "And I bet Boston is nothing compared to New York - I haven't spent any long time there, but it is the city that never sleeps, right?" He sat forward, instantly excited. "Right!?" Graham said. "One is just not enough. But I can only hope to reach Cooper Echelons." He laughed humorlessly, dry, verging on sarcastic - but the harshness of it wasn't directed towards her, it was just... a strange situation. "Would you believe I haven't even started it? I was sent here on a lead, but everything has fizzled out. There hasn't been anything to report on, and I don't know where to start looking for anything."
