A very unusual genetic color variation in white-tailed deer — rarer even than albinism — produces all-black offspring in that species which are known as “melanistic” or “melanic” deer.
Fundraiser Post
Ko-Fi Page
The above Ko-Fi link has a more detailed post as well as images for those wanting proof. I will be updating it as I can.
I really hate to be asking for assistance, but I don’t have any other option presented to me right now. I’m desperate for assistance with medical debt; due to no actual income (and no medical insurance) I don’t have an actual way to pay it off.
I’ve been having a lot of heart problems since my unexpected ER visit last year. In the process of trying to determine why I keep having heart flutters, I racked up a heavy debt of lab work and routine tests hitting the $2,400 mark. As of making this post I don’t actually know what is causing my heart issues. I was tested for an auto-immune disorder and was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Disease (we don’t know if this is connected to my heart issues or not, that link hasn’t been determined). Thanks to my neck being swollen, I was scheduled for a thyroid ultrasound last week (August 26th, 2020).
My test revealed that not only is my thyroid enlarged, but, I also have a knot or “nodule” that showed up. I’m now being monitored for a thyroid cancer risk and will have to undergo further ultrasounds in a few months to make sure the knot hasn’t gotten any bigger (if it does it will have to be biopsied).
This is the only option I have (further details in the Ko-Fi) so I’m pretty desperate and completely lost on what to do. I appreciate any and all reblogs even if you are unable to assist me, as that alone is super helpful to getting the word around.
Thank you guys!
where’s my oscar for acting like i’m not falling apart
