Happy Chinese New Year!

For the past six-ish months, I’ve been working on a Chinese Zodiac illustration series inspired by Japanese “kigurumi”, or animal onesie costumes. These mixed media drawings are made with archival ink pens, watercolor paint, acrylic paint, color pencils, and homemade black walnut ink (made by my lovely significant person, Jordan Buzzy)

Last weekend I concluded my senior project on the Nurse in Siena Heights University's production of Romeo and Juliet. I have received tremendous support and congratulations from those who have guided and educated me and from individuals I don't even know. Among the best compliments I have received is the reassurance that I am right where I should be and I have what it takes to make it out there professionally.
