good intentions,
Peculiar predicaments seemed to follow Junmyeon wherever he went. Like a starved shadow searching for its master, it was always against unfair odds. In an ideal world with rational proportions, he had no chance of survival in the post war world. The world in reality was far from ideal. Screw the odds. It was either eat or be eaten. Junmyeon chose to feast. Upon this very thin thread of logic was how he had found himself at the Agency 8 years ago.

He found himself staring at the male in front of him, fingers curling tighter around the handle of the gun. Eyes were narrowed upon the younger male but his annoyance was not directed at him per say. He knew that the other male was correct and him running into a near collapsible building to search for a man that had his own detail to protect him was rather idiotic of him. He should have thought ahead or at least tapped into the common sense he claimed he had.
The General would have been one of the first few people to have been evacuated from the compound but there was always that slim possibility that he had not been able to safely escape from his building. But he was standing in his office and there was no trace of him at all. He knew better to stay standing in the office, mind racing with thoughts of uncertainty and self-inflected insults.
good intentions,
He swears that he doesn’t need sleep to survive but exhaustion will always reign victorious to his resilience. He had leaned back against the wall, fingers idly holding on to the pages of the book he was currently reading, which for about the past thirty minutes he had not been able to able to read the black letters on the page. He had closed his eyes to rest for a brief moment and to no surprise, he had ended up sleeping for about two hours and he had continued if it weren’t for the uncomfortable position he was currently in and the booming noise that had jolted him awake.
The noise had come from what seemed on the other end of the compound judging from the smoke and debris still mid-air. He set the book aside and closed the window before scrambling to his feet as his coworkers rushed by him in a state of panic. Alarms were turned on manually and he heard directions through the intercom but he couldn’t decipher what was being said except for one of the directions being to stay calm and levelheaded.
Too late for that suggestion, he mused as he folded the sleeves of his white shirt.
I’m a coward when it comes to matters of the heart. That is my fatal flaw.

sauterne,
How had he ended up here once again?
Here being the club that he had declined going to and he had been summoned by his drunk friend, who had threatened him to drive home if he didn’t come to pick him up. He acquiesced and upon entering the club to find his friend, he found the threat had been a blatant lie to drag him into being his wingman and forced to be social, when he was not in the mood to even greet anyone let along converse with a girl about a meaningless topic or better yet a drunken tirade about her ex-boyfriend.
He sat in their private booth on the second floor and sat down nearest to the glass divider, a necessary joke about him jumping as soon as boredom hit him followed. It received a glare as a response and he pretended to be offended that his humor was not as well received.
He glanced over at their company and his eyes wandered over to the bar. He stood up without warning or even an offer to the girl who had been clinging to his side as soon as he was introduced to her. His intention was not to be rude but he was not interested and he didn’t know what else to do make her understand.
He moved around the bar, finding an open spot next to a smaller girl who seemed frustrated that the bartender was either ignoring her or had not seen her yet. He leaned over the bar, called over the bartender with ease and ordered red wine.
He thought about ordering for the girl next to him but that was none of his business.
He waited, curiously shifting towards her as if he was checking the area around her but in fact he was watching her and felt suddenly amused by her reaction to the bartender ignoring her again.
None of his business, he reminded himself.
[ KKT : 루루 ] So are we going to get some wine? ㅋㅋㅋ
〈 reply message ↻ euphemia 〉ㅋㅋ
〈 reply message ↻ euphemia 〉we haven’t had wine because you refuse to visit or meet up with me.
〈 reply message ↻ euphemia 〉let’s meet soon.
