stasis kisses

they differ from how void kisses would feel. 

being kissed by a void user feels like snow on your skin. it’s cold, but it’s gentle. there’s a subtle warmth underneath it, like standing outside a warm home in the middle of a snowfall. they are like snow, melting and warming against your skin. maybe, if they swap between solar, the warmth is amplified; if they swap between arc, it’s like pins and needles as your body warms up to the proper temperature. you pull away and you feel breathless and light, laughing as your breath fogs for just a moment.

being kissed by someone wielding stasis, however, is frigid. it’s chapped, dry, and cracked lips. it’s like being kissed in a cold, empty room and feeling crowded. you are left breathless, the feeling of something taken from you but given at the same time overwhelming. you crave more and press for more and feel the same thing, repeating over and over in hopes you take something from them instead. but it is just cold frigid warmth, like steel against your skin in subzero temperatures. pulling away, finally, your breath fogs for seconds, the only warmth between you and the user.

ATTN: DESTINY ARTISTS

Apparently this account has a lot of peoples art on it without giving the artists credit and they have put their watermark on some other pieces, and cropped pieces to remove the artists signature.  I found one of my pieces, even though it was just a screencap of Cayde and I, but they cropped my frame and took my name off.  There are a lot artists stuff there I recognize.  So, if you’re concerned, check out the page.  I can’t report art that belongs to someone else but, if you don’t want your stuff there or at least want them to credit you, you need to contact them or insta directly.  From what I’ve seen, this person is confrontational so maybe take screencaps first so you have evidence, otherwise they may block you.

It’s to be expected but still super disappointing. I’ve noticed a meme or two of mine being edited into images as well which kinda sucks.

Destiny community has been a car crash before but now it’s a “I can’t look away” level of car crashes.

Sexual misconduct by numerous big personalities of the community, BSK falling apart due to their racism homophobia ddosing doxxing sharing nudes of women and underage women and of what transpired at GuardianCon at their house (too fucked to reveal here), a notable member of the community being revealed to be a catfish (as in, she simply didn’t exist), claims that someone gambled charity money in vegas, dmg taking back a lot of MOTW emblems due to a lot of recipients being racist, some other big PVP clans being outed as being just the absolute worst, people blaming their age for their misconduct, people in general failing at apologizing for their actions

and all of this in the l a s t  48 h o u r s

I’m just glad this stuffs getting aired out, these people blacklisted in the community, their fan bases decimated, and the devs denouncing them.

Any other community and this stuff would’ve been swept under the rug and forgotten. Not here though, the Destiny community holds people accountable for their actions.
