@ everyone in the notes talking about physical performance: if that were the case, then sports would be divided by physical performance. that’s a thing you can measure. that’s a thing that varies by individual. a weak man and a strong man would be an unfair fight in boxing/wrestling/MMA, which is why they divide those sports up into weight groups based on physical performance. but they also further segregate them based on gender. chess is segregated by gender for no reason but sexism. if it’s actually about skill and physical ability, then measure those and separate people by those metrics. don’t do some bullshit gender segregation and pretend like men and women are inherently on different levels no matter their individual abilities.

Why are those disqualified overwhelmingly black and brown? Because testing is case by case when an athletes performance “raises suspicions”. They overwhelmingly test athletes of colour, for being too fast and not meeting white expectations of femininity.

this tier list was a bit harder to make tbh, most of these songs that are next to e/o i like the same amount!

also so surprised w how much my mind changed about these songs the more i listened to the album. at first darling, i was in my top 3, and now it’s in my bottom 3 lolol. also for SURE like him is that high due to tiktok’s influence. idr it leaving an impression when i first listened to it (also cuz this is my first tyler album so i didn’t know anything about his relationship to his dad). sticky and st. chroma tho were always in my top 3 so no surprise there.

i surprised myself w this tier list ngl, idk if any of these are unpopular opinions but i liked every single song! it was so difficult to rank them so the diff b/w how much i liked songs esp on the A tier, was so small (for example, dodger blue & luther, or heart pt6 and gnx)

specifically for heart pt6 vs gnx, the one thing that put hp6 over gnx was the sample, and the one thing that made gnx a bit worse than hp6 was the last verse but i still like both almost the same amount 😩😩😩

also the only thing that made dodger blue better than luther was that one harmony in “westside, get the money, yeah, that’s fo shoooooo” ANGELIC

and one last side note, if the gnx teaser was on this list, it would be above everything, tyvm
