#i had a really weird dentist experience #in which the xray machine played fur elise #why did it do that.#i dont know. i didnt like it #the entire dentist was sketchy ngl #not in an unsanitary sketchy way or anything #the opposite actually #everything was really shiny and white and like. uncanny almost #it felt wrongTM

ive observed a weird phenomenon where whenever i go to the used bookstore, i almost always end up getting a queer book

and its not like the books have rainbows on the cover or anything. Its not like im doing this on purpose. the books look completely average and i pull them off the shelf bc sometime about their design intrigues me. they do not suggest anywhere that there are queer characters

and i buy it and take it home. and as im reading—oh the main character is gay? oh its a story about non-binary people? wait she has a crush on a girl?

and normally its the main characters who are queer. Its not a side character who’s put in for the diversity point. its normally the main character, and their queerness heavily impacts the story

and i dont know how it happens. because im not TRYING to buy queer books. it just. happens

it’s crazy people online are still trying to justify hating on trans men lesbians by saying “b-but it’s TRANSPHOBIC to say that MEN can be lesbians!! Are you saying that trans men aren’t REAL men??” acting like we’re talking about transphobes calling trans men lesbians and not transmasc lesbians themselves using that label FOR THEMSELVES like just admit you don’t like contradictory labels and shut the hell up!! You’re not fooling anyone with your bullshit motte and bailey fallacy!!

recently started working at a summer job. I got my first paycheck and was totally chill with the fact that the envelope would be addressed to my deadname, since its my legal name. I didnt expect my bosses to print out a label with my real name on it and stick it over the address line to replace my deadname and i was so pleasantly surprised!! they literally didnt have to do that, so it was so nice to see them go out of their way to do something small to make me feel more comfortable

i went to prom on friday and apparently we don’t have prom king and queen, we have prom court! so any gender is eligible and no one gets misgendered which is awesome :3 and the faculty vote for best outfits so there isn’t favoritism and its not a popularity contest so i unexpectedly got onto the prom court!! yippee :3
