Big fan of whatever this dynamic is
The way i ship every single one of these, what is this dynamic?
To the person who keeps saying Zeno needs to suffer a little bit of the consequences of his action to hold accountability.
You may go to hell!
Just kidding, but seriously..... Look at the generation of dragon suffering in pure agony.
What Consequences does he need to suffer? He is the victim here. All his actions were in line and reason with it. Not a single action was to make people suffer but to end the suffering. The dragon consider humans insignificant and use them as tools.
Well I mean- there's a difference between facing the consequences of his actions and unjust punishment. Personally, no!!! He does NOT deserve the unjust punishment of the gods! He should not have to suffer through that kind of accountability because it's wrong and unfair. He's suffered at their hands more than enough.
However, he does need to face consequences. By consequences, I mean the people he hurt without meaning to. Yes, his actions were made with the best intentions in mind, but he still hurt the people he cares about in order to reach his goals. The fair consequences here are a real confrontation between him, the dragons, Hak, Yona and Yoon in regards to what he's done. While there's a good chance they'll be willing to forgive him, I'm also positive that they'll call him out on everything. I'd say this is a fair, un-cruel "punishment" that's more than fitting. Zeno needs to face the consequences of his actions, but the kind of consequence he actually needs to face should have nothing to do with the dragon gods.
I am sorry, but I heavily disagree. Zeno does not need to suffer any consequences.
There is a certain difference between an official punishment by the government or whatever authority and having to face the action of a person you love.
Zeno´s action are the culmination of his extreme misery and actually quite logical, if you consider the following points:
Only he witnessed the misery of a long line of dragon warriors.
Zeno has no clue, if Yona is the last reincarnation.
Therefore he has no clue, if the misery of the dragon warriors and his own will continue until eternity or not.
Nobody of his supposed friends has ever honestly thought about what Zeno´s immortality really meant. Like this obvious disinterest and
Yona is likely even responsible for Zeno´s misery as she wished to continue the dragon warriors without actually thinking what that actually meant...King Hiryuu would have maybe returned to heaven and the nightmare would have maybe never started....
I make the claim that Zeno acted in self-defense and he knew best after such a long time that the dragon gods merely had used them and would not end their misery so easily.
Even our own justice system actually would most likely not punish him at all, as from his point of view this was his only chance.
And if the people who claim to love him, cannot forgive him after completely ignoring his misery for so long, then they do not need to claim that they are his family at all.
First of all, Zeno is not suffering any consequences. Simply facing them. There is a difference. I do agree with a lot of what you're saying, because Zeno’s actions are ultimately aligned with logic, and you're right! He did act in self-defense. He never wanted to hurt anybody and only wanted the best outcome. However, I still think he and everyone else should have a chat, because while they might be able to realize where he's coming from, and while I'm sure they'll forgive him, they'll probably still want to discuss it. His actions affected them greatly no matter how in the right he may have been, and it'd be pretty healthy for them to talk it over. A therapy session, if you will. You're entitled to your own criticism and opinions, and please, I'm not looking for an argument or anything either, but I really doubt it would be very healthy for everyone to just brush all this off as though nothing happened once it's over. Not to mention, that'd also be pretty terrible writing.

I was maybe a little bit too harsh, I am sorry.
It´s just I don´t like the expression "consequences" here, because it sounds awfully cold considering those are people that are supposed to care for him and who did completely ignore his misery until now. That Zeno was not alright should have been obvious.
I agree that they can be upset with him, but I would hope that their care for him far outweights any negative reactions.

I am not so sure, if you will be seeing something like this. This manga has up until now hardly shown real discussions between the characters...Somtimes this is even comical. Like Yona has never really shared her knowledge about Soo Won with Hak since the beginning of this manga...even though Hak might have also a reason to know.
But maybe we get a few reactions regarding this in the next chapter, when Zeno and Yona will meet the other dragon warriors.
I agree that they can be upset with him, but I would hope that their care for him far outweights any negative reactions.
This has always amused me of sort.
Now, I know Yo na wasn't mature enough to understand soowon and his line of thoughts in the beginning so his actions felt absolute betray to her. She was most hurt by it. So it affected Hak as well. But Hak personally???? Idk man.
He was always questioning how could Soowon do what he did? How could he ever hurt Yona??? Like how could he pop her bubble of perfect life of lies and happiness? And Hak knowing the reality in the castle and stuff.
His reaction to Zeno is way different, he didn't question Zeno, we don't see any thoughts at all ??? None??? Nada???? Why isn't he questioning it? Like how could Zeno hurt yona? How could Zeno have the heart to hurt her after knowing how she felt about betrayal???? No thoughts?
All we get is, that he promised he wouldn't trust anyone again but ???????
I'm not sure what I feel about that? I'm guessing the author is cutting panels to conclude the story. Just like with Anlili, she is just being there and no monologue from like it was before? Some are saying her opinions are now invalid to the storyline. Maybe thats why? I don't think so. There was not even a reaction after the information of SW being a descendent was disclosed infrontof her. She is just there to do side quests??? Meh.
I feel like kissing interest, tell me I'm not the only one.
AKATSUKI NO YONA (2009-?) by kusanagi mizuho
Idk if it's intentional or not but I found it interesting how he started with "Lady" Lily to "Miss" Lily & now only "Lily"
Ahhh he is getting closer to her in terms of speech eeeeee. yipeee
Lately when i open my pinterest, and it is asking me what do I think,
Let me tell you what I think.
I think I want them back.
Thank you very much.
All those in favour say Aye
Ayee
Motion passed, we want them back
probably one of the things i love most about Hak is that the only thing saving him from being a villains #1 henchman is that he only follows people he in some way admires and he happens to admire traits like kindness and bravery
if he admired, like, ambition or competency everyone else in the manga would be fucked, thee bodyguard loyal follower of all time, my right hand man king, my "yeah i was fully aware the King i gave my loyalty to was running this country into the ground i just didn't care cause he caught a sword with his hand that one time"
I agree one hundred percent, bro is such an OP human. we should thank the lucky stars he follows kindness
My hands doing its things until the next chapter releases and until it comes true.

oh my lawd, please ask your hand to loose control more often
hi yes hello I am in desperate need of hakyona content. and here I really truly mean the word desperate. It's 3:50 am and I'm glued to my desk because I have a molecular biology and biotechnology midterm on sunday but I might as well go stare at a wall for all the progress I'm making. I can't focus. the lack of hakyona content is proving to be DETRIMENTAL
Will you settle for some soowon and lily content? If so, please tap on that little picture of them and keep scrolling my profile.
What a way to spread the word. Also, thank u my sister in faith. I think there is enough Hakyona in cannon. Fannon needs to give space to other ships. XD
Shameless promotion.

Hadal: 'love language' robe with an Arabic love poem by Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish embroidered onto the sleeve.
The poem reads:
قالوا: تموت بها حبـاًً، فقلـت لهـم. ألا اذكروها علـى قبـري فتحيينـي

How are Hak and Su-Won going to talk to one another at the end of the series?
I think about this a lot because just like with Su-Won and Lili, who have always contrasted with the way they use formal vs casual speech, it's a similar case with Su-Won and Hak.
In the first chapter, Hak is all formal with Su-Won. Su-Won told him not to do it, and in the Japanese version, Su-Won loses all his keigo and speaks extremely casually. It surprised me because he never usually speaks that way. Is that how he usually speaks with Hak or was it just for that instance?
And then he loses all formal speech in this scene:
Very few times in the manga has he spoken completely informally. There were also these other scenes:
So why do these moments where Su-Won becomes informal exist?
If formal was his style, is that how it's going to remain until the end? Then why do cracks in that exist?
Whenever reading his internal monologues, he's a lot more casual. However, most of the conversation between Hak and Su-Won in the previous chapter was formal on Su-Won's end.
So I'm wondering what that all means. I feel like there's a specific reason to it. Will a day come when Su-Won just drops all the keigo and pretenses just... talks super roughly and casually with Hak and everyone else?
From the view of the character:
It is because Soo Won was raised like this, in boxes. The way he addresses his father and I guess even his mother makes me believe that Soo Won didn´t know any other way for the first part of his life.
It was just after knowing Hak and later Ogi and his friends, that Soo Won must have known informal speech. That is the in story theory.
From the author´s point of view:
But I also believe that the formal speech always signifies distance that
a) Soo Won knowingly uses formal speech and is known for this as he literally puts a distance between the real him and his role as a king
b) but also between himself and and everybody around him.
It is demonstrated time and time again, that Soo Won surpresses his real feelings for his role as the king...
However...he cannot maintain that mask for eternity and he breaks down in certain instances...then he uses informal speech in order to signify that this is not a role and it is nearer to his realer feelings.
Soo Won is greatly agitated, when he learns that Hak is becoming a Sky Tribe Soldier...Hak had always maintained a distance in his former life as a bodyguard...and now he suddenly becomes a part of Soo Won´s tribe...He approached Soo Won and I guess Soo Won is crazily happy.
It is just that Soo Won hardly shows really strong reactions. When he does, he often uses informal speech
like when he was shocked, that Hak became a Sky Tribe soldier
or when he was screaming at Yona...He was agitated, but also made sure- but mostly unvoluntarily that he meant Yona and not Hiryuu...Soo Won shows his own rawer emotions.
or when he told Hak, that he is selfish...expressing his pain and his feelings of guilt.
Soo Won´s persona and formal/informal speech
The role Soo Won is playing is so ingrained in him by his environment that he hardly can actually escape it.
This role is signified by his formal speech or his way hardly to express strong emotions, to be logical...the ruler or leader...
But I would not see it as a carmouflage...that is just a part of Soo Won...and the other one is the needier person...the one who wishes for friendship and love and acceptance...
Whenever his more vulnerable side is shown, he uses informal speech to signify that there is less distance between him and the other person, while he usually keeps a distance with his formal speech from other people.
Hak and Lily and formal speech
Soo Won is peculiar sensitive to formal speech...when people try to put distance between them and himself.
Sometimes he wishes to be nearer to these people: Hak and Lily.
Hak did put a barrier between him and Yona, but also between him and Soo Won...calling him Soo Won-sama or Lord Soo Won. That might have hurt Soo Won, therefore Hak should just call him "Soo Won" like he used to be...
Or in Lily´s case, Soo Won tells Lily a couple of times, that he "doesn´t mind if she uses informal speech"...actually he expresses in his own way, that he prefers it, if she uses it...
if she does not only look at him as king, but as friend...After all, after they return from Ogi´s place he told her more or less, that he wishes to be her friend...
My guess would be:
Yes, Soo Won most likely will use more often informal speech with people he cares about and open up more, but I guess he will still continue to use formal speech in his every day life.
How are Hak and Su-Won going to talk to one another at the end of the series?
I think about this a lot because just like with Su-Won and Lili, who have always contrasted with the way they use formal vs casual speech, it's a similar case with Su-Won and Hak.

Aww, thanks for appreciation. If u have some manga panel in mind, I would love to redraw. I'm sooooooo in the mood.
Aww thank you! I do have a lot😅 But how abt these two:
Or whatever you prefer😊
Aaaaa... The rain scene is my favorite. I was already working on itttt....as for the other one.
As for the other one
@only4soo-won
Here u go...😃
Its giving HOW DID IT SUDDENLY GET SO HOT IN HERE🔥
Another Akayona Incorrect quote I have on my mind:
KeyShook, Joodoh and Lili are somehow in the same room.
KS: lily sama, where has majesty gone off to? ( I assume that everyone now thinks soowon tells Lily)
Lily: why u asking me?
JD: because u always know, they are saying he went to brothel. I don't think he would go to a brothel.
KS: there is no way His Majesty would go to such a place.
Lily(unamused): who was silently listening, "yeah there is no way.. I'd say if I were u, him going to brothel is the last thing I would worry about.
KS(proudly): of course there is no need to worry because he would not go to such inappropriate places in the first place.
Lily:..... Yeah Sure
JD: you mean there are other places I need to worry about?????
Lily has escaped the scene
Lol SW definitely up to something shady
I think Judoh don't be surprised or doubtful that much. He used to think Soo-Won goes to those places for having some *fun* lol. Remember this panel?
And Soo-Won hiding Yona in his arms also solidified that misconception of Judoh's 😆
Ayyyyy how did I miss this lol....
I can only imagine what will happen if JD were to reveal his first encounter with lili to the generals???? Ahahahbzjsjednjdndxk
What sort of misunderstanding will take place?
Like he chased her? They ate food and went to spend the night at an inn in a single room because another one wasn't available?
Or he was choked for being considered an idiot? Or that his face was almost thrashed through the wall. Though he kinds deserved it.kekehehehe
Or yeah, he became her bodyguard/servant and was bossed around. Judoh didn't interfere because that is most obedient that he has ever seen him. Lol ヽ(*≧ω≦)ノ
PS. I love the umbrella scene...eeeeee
Like he chased her? They ate food and went to spend the night at an inn in a single room because another one wasn't available?
Thank god that Soo-Won wasn't alone in the room w Lily....imagine if that was the case then both Keishuk & Jungi would nearly get a heart attack😆
Guentae with his selective hearing about lili will be all smug like , WTH your majesty you were denying anything with lili but this was going all along, you are sneaky. I guess strong denial means strong approval.
“ψ(`∇´)ψ
Thank god that Soo-Won wasn't alone in the room w Lily....imagine if that was the case then both Keishuk & Jungi would nearly get a heart attack😆
I think, that would be more alarming for joongi than her with just SW. As to why his beautiful, pure and calm daughter was in an inn alone with THE general joodoh aka certified single, and his 2 other guards and THE king.
General Joongi when he finds out:
tell me why Keishuk looks like that <o.o>
He looks far too pleased and that is concerning
Maybe he is a little into it 😏?
Also, this picture is cursed.😶
PALLEEEASEEE.... I didn't notice before, but now I have had good look again, my brain is damaged.
Lol nothing even happened. And the fact other would assume this was the case is too traumatic and hilarious at the same time.
