Used Bias and Jam Up tonight on the iPad for a music session. Takes a while to get an amp preset that works but once you have one it really is very usable. I find the Blackface Duo (Fender Twin) preset with an extra pre amp tube sounds awesome. Really meaty sound reminiscent of an actual one with a drive pedal in front.

Just found these photos from ages ago and thought I'd post them up.

This is my ‘axis fuzz’ pedal clone with a few modifications from the original to increase clarity when playing chord shapes and to generally make the sound bigger. Great pedal, use it all the time live and very dependable. Works best loud and through a cranked amp with a bit of breakup.

Like most fuzz pedals, it gets a bit mardy when put in front of a buffered pedal, it sounded much better when I made the wah true-bypass.

Guitar > true bypass cry baby > ‘frodo’s foot’ fuzz > DC Drive > Bass Big muff(awesome on guitar) > Transistor tremolo > Nano Clone chorus > Boss Tu 3 > Front end of Rockerverb 50 MK 1 (the best version)

Effects loop > Boss dd20 > TC Hall of fame mini > return

Orange open back 212 (Much better than the closed back imo, but needs a lot of space around it to sound at its best)

Shure sm57 > steinberg ur22

Small document I chose to do in physics about waves, and managed to get guitars into it. Bit boring to read, I have to admit, I find other aspects of guitars a lot more fun.

Quick demo of the Creamery Skinny Strat Neck pickup I installed, really great pickup, all smooth and works well with fuzz pedals.

Been trying out a new brand of string recently, called Newstrings. They seem great, and even give you a free extra high e included.

Only problem is that they have limited range, like 9's 10's 11's and skinny top heavy bottom (the ones that i use)

Would recommend them and at almost half the price of comparable brands it's definitely worth it

Did this a while back but only got round to posting it today. Converted my dunlop cry baby to true bypass so it works with the fuzzes in my chain. Took a while to de-solder the components from the board but I managed it and it works so all is good! 

Maybe in the future I'll consider changing the inductor to a vintage one, but the current one suits for now

NGD! This is a telecaster deluxe, and of my favorite looking and sounding guitars ever, the only problem with them was the gloss neck which has now been sanded down and is now nice and smooth. Really an awesome guitar with awesome tone, very excited to play it live.

Spent this afternoon applying a bit of 'artificial wear' on the enclosure for my tremolo pedal, think it looks alright for saying.

My bands first EP, recorded at soundhub studios in Belper and mastered at metropolis studios london.

Very impressed with quality of recording, and one track 'Nine' got BBC introducing play, so very happy with it!

Decided the stock humbucker in my strat was not cutting it anymore so swapped it out for a Seymour duncan custom, which sounded good, but not great so I swapped the magnet for an alnico 3, which I believe made it similar to a SD Custom custom. Whatever, it sounds much better now.
