Their bromance is so strong, I love it. <3
Too precious, must protect. <3
I love the dynamics of the new main characters/inspectors.
...but Iâm also fairly certain that fujoshis are going to slash them together. :â>

Finally done with this last DLC Iâve been wanting to make for quite some time. Dragon Essence is special among my games as the majority of the soundtrack is commissioned. (I normally used royalty-free soundtrack). For this DLC, I compiled all the original soundtrack, including unused tracks, remixes, and no vocal tracks. I also made an 18-pages booklet to compliment it. Hope you like them! (âÂŽÏïœâ)
P.S: The soundtrack is free for those who currently pledged 5 USD and above in my Patreon.
Hakumyu LIVE 2! Thoughts
1. IMO the current castâs voices are... not very powerful? Itâs not bad, but they are not very memorable. I remember Hirose Daisukeâs âShow time gaâ well. But in LIVE 2, it didnât stand out.
2. When Aramaki Yoshihiko said âSaigo moriagate iku yoâ, I had throwback feels. <3
3. Suzuki Shogo has the most consistent, amazing voice. <3
4. Iâm annoyed because in any and all iterations, Okita Souji has his slender fingers wrapped around my tender fangirl heart. <3
5. Chi-sama? Seriously, Chikage? xD His face during the whole Chi-kama scene is so adorable ughh. From disapproving to ughh I know Iâm popular but you donât have to to I guess itâs not bad. xD
6. First time seeing Shiranui topless! Kashiwagi Yuusuke is actually pretty toned... *^* Heck, a lot of them are!
7. Meanwhile at the side of the stage... #bromance
8. And at the back of the stage, Souji attacks an extraâs nipples. D:
9. Unrelated, but Iâm very pleased every time Saito shows off his sternocleidomastoid muscle because itâs extremely relevant to me as a dentist. :D
10. The castâs harmonization sounds really good. <3
11. I wasnât able to watch Reimeiroku, so the medley with Serizawaâs assassination was new and exciting for me. The lines, the acting, the choreography... it was great! I like Serizawaâs wig and beard, they are really nicely done. (meanwhile, why canât they get Sanoâs hair right???)
12. Yazaki Hiroshi!! I really missed his singing. He had a really strong and consistent voice. And he portrayed Hijikata really well, even nailing Shinichiro Mikiâs voice. And heâs really cute too ahhhh.
13. The cast interacting with Yazaki was really hilarious! Ahhhh Kondo-san! ;A;
14. IâLL WAIT FOR YOU YAZAKI-SAN! <3
15. HELLO HEâS TOO ADORABLE I CANNOT.
16. I squealed so hard when I heard the tune to Paint It Blood. Okita is my favourite character and Paint It Bloodâs chorus is incredibly catchy and I really love the lyrics. Aramaki-sanâs smug look... UGHHHH.
17. Sanoâs solo songs were pretty fun. The way he stroked his spear, fufufu. And that teasing âWait for me!â I canât wait to watch Harada-hen!
18. The return of Oni no Matsuei! The part where they harmonize âkakugo shiroâ... Ahhh I love the old songs. TT
19. Suzuki-san seemed so emotional when they finished the final song. I know that this is his last Hakumyu. But was this the last stage? Even till through the cheering section, he seemed so sad.... :â< (I later find out that yes, it was the last performance) Iâm gonna miss his Kazama very much. It wasnât the same Kazama from the game, but he created a Kazama that was very memorable.
20. I didnât realize that it was also Hashimoto Shoheiâs last Hakumyu. The feels. :â<
21. Everyone was so emotional. TT
Just like the first LIVE, LIVE2 was a lot of fun to watch! Iâm so glad to be able to watch Hakumyu up till now. Iâm looking forward to watch Harada-hen! ^^
I see no difference
Hakumyu Kitan Thoughts!
I still havenât been able to watch Reimeiroku completely, so this will also include my thoughts on the new cast. Like many of you out there, Iâm still kinda attached to the old cast, itâs going to be some big shoes to fill in. :â<
1. Serizawaâs face always reminds me of Scar from Lion King lol.
2. Matsuda Gaku is a very beautiful Hijikata. Probably fits the definition of an ikemen. That smirk too mmm...
3. Different Yaisa choreography... :â< I miss Ikeda Junya wuuu.
4. Itâs hard to compare with Hirose Daisukeâs Okita, but I think Aramaki Yoshihiko has his own flavour. Less playful, less mad, but more serious and proud. I like the excessive twirling of his sword though, hehe. Still the drama queen, of course.
5. Weâre back to that awkward phase where Sanan doesnât exist, and no one is explaining wtf is a Fury and the Water of Life and whatâs its impact on the Shinsengumi.
6. While weâre on that topic, some of the story elements and narratives changed too. It was kinda odd at times (e.g. Kodou asking Okita to lead his Fury army). Some others (e.g Hijikataâs near-death conversation with Serizawa) are interesting adds.
7. The new KINNNIKU song has A+ choreography and A++ kinniku mmmmm.
8. Yamazaki gets featured quite abit. :â> *press F*
9. Hijikataâs breakdown though. </3
10. Sano actually using his sword!
11. Harada route preview! I liked how they slide it in, kinda like Heisukeâs interactions with Chizuru in Kazama-hen. But seriously, Sanoâs short wig is bugging me... >< Why is if flipped out like that? How is it that they make it look bad again? orz Such injustice when he had such a cool scene. :â<
12. I thought the ending stage with the Sakura background was really beautiful. And all the Shinsengumi in their Eastern costumes. And here I am, thinking about how many Sakura petals they had to prepare to scatter all over the stage for that entire sequence. xD
13. Demmit Kitan, I DIDNâT ASK FOR THIS AGAIN. Just when I thought itâs the Hijikata route, itâs Kazama-hen / Yukimura route again. QAQ
14. The true MVP
15. Never really realized how silly Heisukeâs upper arm and thigh guards are until the musical pokes fun about them. xD
16. Matsuda Gaku during the curtain call is really adorable, hahaha.
Hakumyu Kitan wasnât too bad! It was a good introduction to the new cast, for me. It was a nice mix of old and new songs. Of course I miss the old cast and old songs (boku wa ken da~), but things must change. Meanwhile, I shall keep watching Hakumyu and believe in the things that doesnât change (hahaha).

This is an amazing comic. Thank you to the author for putting everything into an easy to understand format.
Most people have a hard time reading scientific journals (and honestly scientists can have a hard time too) so itâs important to asses articles and information to figure out if they have support for the claims they make.
Feel free to reach out to me if you have questions about vaccines. I am currently pursuing a bioengineering degree and would be more than happy to help everyone learn.
Team Japanâs (Hakuouki) winning performance at the World Cosplay Summit 2012 (0:00-2:40)Â
âPerhaps the name of âFuryâ no longer suits you. The life you strive to live is not that of a fake.
You are a Demon. That means you must have a demonâs name. I name you...
Hakuouki.â
When I first finished Hijikataâs route, and watched Hakumyu, I was reminded of Team Japanâs winning performance at the World Cosplay Summit 2012. Iâm not sure if any of you from the fandom have seen this before, but I think itâs worth highlighting.
These cosplayers are probably amateurs, and have a separate life and day job out of their costumes. Yet, the way they constructed the story, their costumes, their facial expressions, and fight choreography, shows how much love and passion they had for their craft. Every movement had meaning, and they were in-character till the very last second. (please watch till the end, my kokoro <3) Despite the prop malfunction, and the lack of huge, eye-catching armour/weapons, this team still won because their passion shows in their work.
Still one of my favourite WCS performances till date. <3
Harada Sanosuke Appreciation Post
Iâm gonna start out by saying that Okita Souji is my bias, but if I had to pick any of the Hakuouki men to date and marry irl, it would be Harada Sanosuke.
Iâm writing this out of my deep admiration for his character.
On the surface, Sano is the boy with a pretty face, whoâs popular with the ladies, and really good at flirting.
*deep sighs*
It helps that in his route, you donât have to worry about any bloodlust, and thereâs more saucy CGs, and he actually wants to settle down and start a family, and he actually beds the lady. *wink wonk* So yeah, Sano probably has the most âtraditionalâ otome route out of all the Hakuouki men.
But one of the main things I like about Sano is his honesty. He straight up says âI canât lieâ. He even stumbles when trying to cover up for the rasetsu incident in front of Itou. Honesty is really important in a relationship to build trust. It takes away room for fear and doubt. Itâs easier to come to an amicable conclusion if all parties are honest about their feelings, instead of being vague, then suddenly your expectations are not met.
Also thanks to his honesty, he is not shy to say what is on his mind. And intentionally/unintentionally flirt. |D I mean, who doesnât like compliments?
Sano is also a matured man who speaks from experience and the mistakes of his brash past. He has this advantage since heâs older (compared to Chizuru who is what, 16?) But still, experience is a great advantage, and he learns from it, and is a better person for it. He is also a man with a clear goal. He knows what he wants -Â a beautiful wife, a family, a quiet life. And even when faced with difficult choices, he is able to commit to that which is most important. (family life over warrior life)
#inspirational #relationshipgoals
But most of all, I love how Sano is a respectful human being, especially towards his lover. Chizuru tried to leave him three times (srsly girl???) Each time, Sano doesnât react in anger. Instead, he is there to listen to her thoughts and feelings.
Sano was shocked to see Chizuru sneaking away without telling him. He never says âno you canât leaveâ or âIâll kill youâ. (*cough Okita cough*) He simply respects her decision, and is even willing to help her, whether or not he agrees to her actions. All he wanted to know was âwhyâ. He wanted to know what was bothering her.
The second time Chizuru wanted to leave, she refused to tell him why. Sano doesnât get angry. He just wanted to be sure that Chizuru has thought out a proper plan for the future, and that she was serious.
Towards the end of their conversation, Chizuru was even âseething with anger teetering on the edge of resentmentâ because Sano couldnât understand her feelings for wanting to leave alone. Yet, Sano was still calm, collected. Despite throwing her frustrations at him, he reacted to her not with anger, but with love. To be honest, this is an extremely hard thing to do. By nature, we want to be heard and we want our opinions to be acknowledged. And so, we become defensive and aggressive (see: Chizuru).
But hey, that doesnât stop Chizuru from leaving for the third time. Still, Sano is chill. A little annoyed, yes. If anything, I think Sano is just hurt that Chizuru doesnât trust him enough to share complete honesty, and also sad that she is unable to deem herself worthy enough for his love.
But True Loveâą conquers all, so Sano helps Chizuru see the light and she begins to be able to accept herself and accept Sanoâs sacrifice. He helped Chizuru become better.
Even when he bones her, he asks for consent. Sano is #woke. What a wholesome love! *cries tears of joy*
In all situations, Sano doesnât react with his emotions. He takes time to talk it through, and he makes sound judgements through logical thinking and questions.
Sanoâs route was very realistic. Definitely dramatised, but the struggles were real. Sano had already gone through relationship meltdowns from his short-tempered self in the past, and so his current personality was already well-established, and he was a stable character. Instead, we see Chizuruâs struggles over her identity, and how she is undeserving of sacrifice and love, and how this blindsides her from the love that is right before her. Personally, it was all very relatable.
tl;dr Sano is a handsome, honest, matured, respectful, and dependable man. Do I dare say that Harada Sanosuke is the ideal boyfriend? Hell yeah. xD
Drinking Game pt2!
Still have some leftover alcohol? Nice, Iâve got more for you. Take a shot every time Harada pats your head/brushes your hair. Go!
Bonus!: Sano patting Ryunosukeâs head
You still ok? Too much too drink? No? Youâre just melting into Sanoâs thick arms? Yeah, me too.
HeiShin / JunShuu Combo during Yaisa! Yaisa! Yaisa!
In order: Hijikata-hen, LIVE, Kazama-hen, Heisuke-hen
Help?
Trying to continue my Hakumyu binge watching session. But for some reasons, the Reimeiroku file Iâve downloaded only contains 27 minutes of the musical. I tried searching the interwebs, but could only find dubious links. Could anyone point me in the right direction? ^^â
Meanwhile. I shall rewatch Heisuke-hen or go replay Haradaâs route.
