Lightning watched him die, by her own hands. She had to. She had to kill him. Otherwise he would have been stuck as a monsterâŚPulling the bloodied blade out, the Savior let his body fall to the floor. Thatâs all she could do. The Savior could feel his soul being released, and she couldnât save it..
Rouge gloves now covered in bloodâŚthe woman removed them before tossing them on him and walking away. There was nothing more she could do.Â

The end of the world cameâŚWhere all the souls of the dead could be saved. Snow, and Serah. Both saved. Lightning couldnât look either of them in the eyes. Overwhelming guilt pushed on her shoulders. The weight of her burdens finally taking their toll on her.
"Iâm sorryâŚ"
The blonde crossed his arms standing right in front of Lightning. He didnât know what to say. Heâs normally the one to break the ice. He couldnât keep a girl waiting.
"For what?"
He stared at her. He wasnât angry at her. To be honest. There wasnât a hint of rage coming from him. She saved them after all. He gently places a hand on Lightningâs shoulder, secretly hoping she doesnât punch him out of reflex.
"Everythingâs okay now."
He scratches the back of his head as he turns his back from her, and chuckles dryly.
"Well almost everything."
He places his other hand on her other shoulder, and shakes her slightly to get her attention.
"Youâre the only one who isnât happy."
He shakes her a bit more wondering why sheâs trying to avoid making eye contact with him
"Whatâs on your mind, Light? Talk to me!"
"Don't touch me..."The woman pushed him away, shaking her head. She didn't deserve it. It didn't matter if everyone or no one was angry at her. Lightning was angry at herself.Â
"I killed you. I killed Serah...I killed other people too...." The woman shook her head, crossing her arms to turn away from them. "Not only that...but I don't even deserve to be going to the new world..."
"Not someone like me."
