Carlsberg

14.5% Vol Alch Lager/Pilsner Denmark

Probably, it is the largest mass-production beer in the world, you can find it everywhere/

Crystal light gold colour, it is really clear. Fluffy top but the foam doesn't remain long, high carbonation and bubbles rise quickly.

It smells typical lager not strong, but pepperness aroma and taste are easily detectable. I took pure barley malt and pepper taste which I really don't like, I can say mid-high for bitterness compared to lagers. It is completely not my type, I really don't like the pepper flavour and aroma. It is not simple and straight like German lagers, and it not refreshing like Heineken or clean American lagers. It is also good to mention that it doesn't have the same taste everywhere in the world, depending on the brewery the taste can be changed, but I regret choosing it whenever I order Carlsberg in Norway.

Stella Artois

4.7% Vol Alch Lager Belgium

Light gold color with fluffy and very very stable foam. This is the most stable foam of beer so far. Moderate carbonation.

The smell is light but the aroma is typical of hops. The taste is really sweet, and I got a caramel taste as well and more bitter than a regular European beer. I do not think this is one of my favorites.

Heineken Original

4.7% Vol Alch. Lager Amsterdam/Netherlands

Iconic dutch malt lager.

Cristal clear light gold colour with a weak white foam top and high carbonation but bubbles are not rising up quick.

Almost no smells, especially no yeast and hops smells. Typical malt high-quality malt lager, I noticed only that relatively high bitter taste that I didn't expect. I got a trace amount of fruity (like apple) sweetness while drinking but it disappeared fast. Overall, well-balanced quality malt lager that you can never regret for preferring it.

ERDINGER Weißbier

4.7% Vol Alch Wheat beer Erding Germany

One of the German classics.

It has a cloudy appearance and the colour is a mix of light brown and orangey, very fluffy foam but retention time extremely low, It goes really quick. High-moderate carbonation, bubbles rise up fast.

The aroma is quite limited, it doesn't smile with strong hops or yeast but overall it has a very well-balanced good aroma, even if it is not easy to detect. The taste is quite good, and like the aroma, it is well-balanced as well. It has a bitter taste but is very low, I personally couldn't get any spicy taste, but the first time it touches the leaps I get a little fruity taste which is really good. It is not like barley malt beer for sure, wheat malt brings a good character to it. Overall I really like it.

Miller Genuine Draft

4.7% Vol Alch Lager USA

It is a crystal light gold colour with fluffy foam on top. Very stable foam and good carbonation.

Smell is nothing special, I couldn't get any flower or strong hops smells. The taste is really straight nothing is dominant. maybe very little sweetness comes from corn or wheat and it is easily drinkable. There is no dominant roasting something, strong hops, malt taste or flavor. It is not an empty or too clear beer, everything is well balanced. I guess it goes very nice with food.

Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc

4.5% Vol Alch Wheat Beer (Ale lager) France

French wheat beer brewed with a hint of citrus.

White-yellow cloudy color. This is the one the whitish color that I've ever seen. It has fluffy and stable foam with large bubbles. Carbonation can be classified as high.

It has iconic smells and aromas. It is easy to get the smell of citrus and the taste is exactly proper with the smell. The first taste you can get is something like a mix of citrus with a little bit of sugar instead of a malt. It is a wheat beer but It is hard to take the wheat taste due to the dominant citrus taste for me. Almost no bitter taste and it is a quite fresh summer beer. if you don't like barley malt or hop taste, that could be a good choice.

If compared to Frydenlund Juice IPA, 1664 Blanc is fresher and beer-like at the same time and it is more whitish as well. I can say 1664 Blanc is better, but this is not a beer that I can always want to drink.

KIRIN ICHIBAN

5.0% Alch Japanese lager Japan (brewed in UK)

Japanese prem brew.

Typical lager color. Clean light gold colour. Fluffy large foam, foam remaining on the wall of glass. mid-high carbonation.

It smells so clean. I couldn't feel hops smells and the aroma was so clean too. I couldn't get the taste of herbs or spices. It is like carbonated malted water maybe a little bit sweety. After drinking, it doesn't bring any bad taste. Bitter is a little bit lower than an average lager and when I was drinking it, it was so empty. I don't think so it is good every time.

I cannot say it is a bad beer but I expected more, It is so toneless. much far from Budwiser maybe close to Chinese beer Tsingtao or Miller.

Tsingtao Lager

4.7% Vol Alch Lager Qingdao/China

Traditional Chinese beer.

Color is so clear and ight gold, very thin dense foam, carbonation is low-moderate. bubbles rising up fast but foam is weak.

I got smelled of a mixture of barley and rice, it reminds me tombul Efes (traditional Turkish beer). I got a feeling that the water used in production is really fresh and soft. I got a low bitter taste after drinking it. I can even get a taste of water instead of lager, I don't know if this is good or bad.

I guess I need to drink a little bit more of this beer because I could not be sure it is good or bad, but I can easily say that It didn't impress me in the first sip.

Frydenlund Juicy IPA

4.6% Vol Alch IPA/Pale Ale (NEIPA) Norway

Carbonated fruit juice instead of a beer but I like it.

Just like DAHLPS, Frydenlund is also a brand of Ringnes, you can find it in every grocery shot in Norway.

It is light yellow but cloudy (unfiltered) with white foam containing large bubbles and moderate carbonates. Foam is something between thin and fluffy but it is gone relatively fast and it is not holding the inner wall of the glass.

A very strong fruity smell consists of mango and tropical passion that I have never eaten but I regularly drink in Norway. It is also possible to get smell of wheat malt but it is basically a blend of barley and wheat malt. The taste is more like a fruit juice (carbonated mango+tropical passion mix) than an IPA. It is sweaty very juicy, and there is no bitterness at all. I can say that it is similar to Belgian wheat beer but more fruity.

Budweiser Budvar

4.5% Vol Alch Pilsner/Czech Lager Czech Republic

One of the most iconic and well-known beers in the world.

Maybe, the most famous beer. It is a really iconic beer and the taste is super cool!

The Colour is a typical pilsner colour, light gold and clear. moderate carbonate, bubbles are rising up not too much fast and thin creamy-taste foam is disappear slowly.

It is easy to detect citrus smells as soon as opening the bottle. Extremely low bitter taste, still citrus taste is dominant. Easy drinkable beer, I couldn't taste any alcohol and high bitter taste. It is ref08reshing after drinking, there is no such bitter taste after it.

Obviously, one of the best beers you can find in the market.

DAHLS PILS

%4.% Vol Alch Pilsner/Lys Lager Trondheim/Norway

My favourite Norwegian beer.

it is a Trondheim brand, it was produced in Trondheim before but the brand was sold to Ringnes later. It reminds me of Turkish Tuborg Gold, my other favourite.

The Colour is a little lighter than gold, clarity is clear, good and white stable foam (moderate bubble size) between fluffy and thin and bubbles are rising up fast.

It tastes like a typical pilsener to me. a little bit fruity and really really low hops bitter. Perfect balanced beer taste and there is a soft taste reaming really long time after drinking. (maybe soft taste comes from Norwegian perfect groundwater sources, here even tap water is good.)

Absolutely perfectly balanced and easy drinkible high-quality lager beer.
