Dubai, February 11, 2005, 9 AM
“Aisha! AISHA!” Farah was knocking on the restroom violently. “Mhmmm, don’t stop right there”, the blonde girl kept on chanting it, her body was pinned to the wall and then suddenly her chants came to a halt, “Give me a fucking second”, a voice said and then the door opened. Farah showed the Sony Ericsson K700i, Baba, the caller ID showed. “Hello”, she panted. “Aisha, kaise ja raha final ki taiyaari?” Jameel asked (Aisha, how is the final preparation going ). Aisha looked back at Mellisa who was breathing heavily and smirked, she licked her coated lips and said, “Bahut badiya” (Very Good). “Tumhari ticket confirmed hogayi hain”, he said (Your ticket has been confirmed). “Waise tumhein waapis kyu aana hain? Dubai toh accha hi ja raha hain”, he asked (By the way, why do you want to come back? Dubai is going well for you). “Baba! I told you, I want to settle down”, she answered. “Pakistan mein hi kyun settle hona hain?” he asked (Why do you want to settle down in Pakistan specifically). “Baba! I told you budhape mein rehna ke liye”, she repeated ("Dad! I told you, so I can be there during old age). “Kiske budhape mein?” he asked (Whose old age?). “Mere!”, she spoke sarcastically (Mine), he chuckled and said, “Jeet ke aana meri sherni”, a small laugh left her and she said (Come back winning, my lioness), “Ji Baba” and cut the call (Yes Baba). She looked back at the blonde and the girl asked, “When are we gonna meet again?”. “The world is round, my love, surely we will meet some day”, she said as she got out and Farah followed her, “Really? Right now?”, she asked. “The adrenaline helps meri jaan”, she said as she took the towel and then wiped the sweat away from her face. Farah rolled her eyes, this bitch, she thought. “Don’t roll those eyes like that, meri jaan. I will make it roll back in a very different context”, Aisha teased. Farah smacked the towel on her head, “OW!”, she hissed. “BITCH”, Farah cursed.
“So who is the beauty opposite me?” Aisha asked. “Aaliyah Qadri”, Farah announced. “Hmm Lady Dynamite?”, Aisha told herself. “Well, is Bumblebee afraid?” Farah asked. “Nah babe I am checking who I am going to hit on after the match. Haven’t yet locked horns with Lady Dynamite”, Aisha said. Aisha took the sipper bottle from Farah’s hand and drank from it as she put on her boxing gloves. She took in deep breaths, her adrenaline was still at the peak and slowly entered the arena, “Ladies and Gentlemen, The Bumblebee has arrived”, the anchor announced and Aisha gestured everyone to cheer more and entered the ring in her red boxing set. “Now give it up for The Lady Dynamite”, the anchor announced and Aaliyah arrived, DAMN! This woman is a goddess.
Aisha stepped into the ring first followed by Aaliyah. The bell rings and the match starts. Aisha never stayed in the ring, she floated in the ring. Aaliyah on the other hand was a beast in the ring, defense being her forte. For Aaliyah this was defending her title, it was life and death for her. But for Aisha this was foreplay, she was enjoying this, admiring how sexy Aaliyah looked while defending her punches, how her eyes followed her movements. That was a mistake. Suddenly Aaliyah threw in an uppercut and it caught Aisha in the jaw and she stumbled back against the ropes. She wiped the place where it stung as she tasted copper and she smirked, Well darling, you are bringing this to yourself darling. She moved back to the ring smoothly and then gave a fake jab at Aaliyah’s jaw. Come on sweetie, block it. Indeed she did and Aisha smirked as she threw a jab right across her abs which made Aaliyah grab her stomach out of pain. The next punch went right to her face. For three seconds, Aaliyah saw black. Aisha threw in a clinch and when Aaliyah opened her eyes, Aisha locked eyes with her and her eyes dropped to her lips, “That’s it, darling, the trophy is mine”, she said smugly as she dropped her to the ring and the referee started hitting the ground, counting, “One… two… three”, Aaliyah tried standing up by her forearm, which made Aisha raise an eyebrow in amusement. But her vision was blurry and her body gave up. The referee stepped in the middle and he raised Aisha’s hand up, “And the winner is The Bumblebee”, the commentators announced and the crowd went wild. She was given the belt by the referee, she raised it up in the air as she celebrated.
The celebration was taking place at 360° and she was taking shot for shot of whiskey like there was no tomorrow, her phone rang and she took the phone and screamed BABA! I WON! And Jameel’s laugh boomed through the speaker, “Wah meri sherni Wah”, he praised. “THANK YOU BABA”, she slurred. “Ab bas bohot peliya flat waapis jao, packing bhi toh karni hai aaj bas itna hi kaafi hai, jao”, he said (This is enough for today, you have to do the packing as well). “BABA! PLEAAASSSSEEE”, she whined. “Aisha”, his tone sounded firm. “YOU ARE BAD BABA! THIK HAI I AM GOING”, she complained as she cut the call (Fine! I am going). One more shot. “Hey handsome, looking for some company?”, a melodious voice asked. Aisha turned her head and she froze for three seconds before her eyes automatically dragged over the woman standing in front of her. She saw a woman in a black satin bodycon dress, correction, it felt less like a dress more like it was poured onto her skin, the slit in her dress showing a generous amount of her thighs. Well Aisha was definitely interested. “Yes my lady, I would definitely like some company”, she smirked as she replied. The woman was slightly taken aback by the fact that the handsome was a woman, no one could blame her though, short hair, t-shirt with a jacket over it and a build muscular enough to be mistaken as a man. The woman slid on the barstool next to her. “I hope you are not disappointed”, Aisha said. “I am actually glad”, the woman replied. “Why?”, she asked, surprised. “Well I don’t have to worry that the fun ends in two minutes”, she replied. “Damn!’, Aisha exclaimed. “So”, the woman asked as she ran her finger through the Carpe Diem tattoo in Aisha’s inner forearm. “Do you just seize the day or do you seize the night as well?”, she asked. A smirk broke on Aisha’s face, she took another shot and looked at the woman, her hazel eyes clouded with lust, “That my love, you will find out pretty soon”, it was a promise.
Dubai, February 12, 2005, 4 AM
The buzz of her phone shattered the silence of her room, she groaned as she picked her phone up. “Hello?”, she sleepily asked. “Aisha. Packing khatam hogaya?” Jameel asked (Is the packing over). Packing? What packing? OH FUCK. “Haan hogaya”, she lied and got up and jumped into her pants (Yes it’s done). She scanned her room, the woman’s clothes were scattered on the floor, she took each of them and put it on the bed, she walked towards the bathroom only to step on a torn piece of lace. Of course, she had ripped the woman’s panties apart and had thrown them away. “Main toh poori tarah ready hoon, waise flight kab tha?” she asked as she reached her bathroom (I am completely ready, by the way when was the flight?). “8 AM”, he replied. THANK FUCK. She had four hours left. “Thik hai Baba, no need for any taxi, I will fetch one. Waise udhar gyms haina?”, she asked (Ok Baba, there are gyms present right?). “Haan hain”, he replied (Yes they are). THANK GOD! Otherwise she would have had to import her equipment. “Ok Baba, Clifton mein milte hain”, she said (Ok then lets meet at Clifton). “Thik hai”, he said and then he hung up (Fine). She cupped her hands in front of the tap, collected water and splashed it over her face, she ran her hand through her hair and combed it to perfection, two strands falling over her forehead. After brushing she fixed her necklace, the crown engraved on it shining bright as the light from the bulbs hit it. Her next destination was the kitchen, she decided to make some black tea and toast for breakfast. She had set everything up for breakfast, so what if it was 4:30 in the morning, she was starving and this was her house. She went to her bedroom again and decided to wake up the sleeping beauty. “Rise and Shine, milady”, Aisha whispered into the woman’s ears and her eyes snapped open, goosebumps erupting all over her skin. “Allah Kasam, this should be illegal”, she said as she got up, the silk duvet falling down exposing her bare skin and the very distinct chain of red marks over her neck and collarbone, she grabbed the duvet and covered herself as her face turned red, “Why are you hiding it from me, there is nothing that I haven’t seen”, Aisha teased her. “The same reason why you didn’t take your t-shirt off - personal reasons”, she said. “Fine, put your clothes on and I need your help”, Aisha said. “What help?”, she asked. “Put your clothes on before I decide that we are not leaving this room for another hour”, Aisha teased. She punched her shoulder, Aisha didn’t even flinch and said, “I will be in the kitchen” and left. The toast and tea were ready, she had set up the table for breakfast but the lady hadn’t yet come to the kitchen and she went to the bedroom to find her sitting on the bed, dressed and looking at the remains of her panties. “Sorry for that, it's a bad habit of mine”, Aisha said, running her hand through her hair. “With your teeth seriously?”, she asked. “I mean it was sexier than with my hands. Ok, let's leave that, why are you sitting there, any problem?” Aisha asked. “Well it hurts when I move”, she said, her eyes downcast and cheeks flushed. A smug smirk broke on Aisha’s face, “Seems like I seized the night too much”, she said and wrapped her hand around the woman’s waist and hoisted her up like she weighed nothing, she clutched her bicep and wrapped her legs around her hips and Aisha moved to the kitchen and put her down when they reached the table.
“Mhmm, you cook well”, she said as she was sitting on Aisha’s lap and munching on the toast. “This is simply a black tea and a toast”, Aisha said. “Well it's good”, she said. “By the way, what is your sweet name, milady?” Aisha asked. “Aafiya”, she replied. “I need your help Aafiya”, Aisha said. “Which is?”, Aafiya asked. “I need your help in packing my stuff, I am leaving Dubai in…”, she checked her Patek Philippe, 5 AM, “three hours so I need your help in packing”, she continued. “Why would I help you?” Aafiya asked. “I might possess the knowledge on some massages which help with muscle soreness of legs and it looks like you desperately need it”, Aisha said. “Fine”, she said as she finished her toast. Aisha picked her up back to the bedroom and took two suitcases out, opened it and then her wardrobe, “Can you start picking up the dresses from the top shelf?” Aisha asked. Aafiya stood up with utmost care and stood on her tiptoes, her legs gave up and she nearly tripped and Aisha caught her and said, “My mistake, you should sit and I will give you the clothes and you have to arrange it in the case”. Aafiya nodded as she settled next to the case. It took 45 minutes for them to finish packing. Aisha looked at Aafiya’s eyes, she could see the question in her eyes, was she absconding from the country? “I am leaving Dubai, well let’s just say permanently for now”, Aisha said. “Oh! Where exactly?” Aafiya asked. “Darling I don’t think we are close enough for that”, Aisha said. Aafiya was silent. “Let me give you those massages otherwise you won’t be able to stand up”, Aisha said as she made Aafiya sit up against the headboard and kept her legs over her thighs and started massaging her legs.
“So the massage session is over, thank you for coming to Aisha’s spa”, Aisha said cheekily. Aafiya got up, surprisingly enough she was able to walk, her legs didn’t feel wobbly, there was still some soreness but it was much better. Aafiya saw price tag of one of Aisha’s jacket and she searched for a pen and when she found one she wrote something on it and went towards Aisha and said, “My number” and instead of giving it to her hand, she stood on her tiptoes, well, 5’10 was pretty tall for a woman, and then inserted the price tag into Aisha’s mouth, “In case you come back to Dubai, just know I am just a call away”, she said as she winked at her and left the apartment.
Five minutes later Aisha locked her apartment and got out with her two suitcases. The suitcase with her clothes was with her and the other one which contained books and her personal things was to be sent via air express. Waiting for the boarding time in the airport was the most boring thing for Aisha. She was roaming around her gate aimlessly, trying to strike up conversations but it seemed like no one was interested in socializing. Finally the gate opened and she boarded the flight, she prayed for her seatmate to be a woman but to her sheer annoyance and disappointment, it was an uncle in his mid 40s. UGH THIS IS SO BORING. She ordered a whiskey from the flight attendant and her eyes locked with the lady’s as she brought the whiskey and poured it to her glass, Aisha winked at her and she sipped her drink. Chalo, at least there is some fun. But Aisha’s body had other plans, although no one can blame it because 2hrs of sleep since she was busy seizing the night was definitely not something her body supported, she needed rest. The captain’s announcement that they were landing woke Aisha up, she rubbed her hands over her eyes and got up from her seat and pulled her suitcase down.
Karachi international airport, February 12, 11:10 AM
Aisha comes out of the airport sipping on a can of whiskey and then she walks towards the first taxi she sees. “Oh bhai, Clifton jaana hai, le chaloge?”, she asked (Hey Brother, I have to go to Clifton, will you take me?). “Kyu nahi madam”, the driver replies (Why not madam). After putting her suitcase in the trunk herself, Aisha slid into the backseat and laid down, her boots pressing against the glass, “Zyada ghoor mat, extra paisa de dunga, waise Lyari se nikal kar jaana”, she said (Don’t stare too much, I will give you extra money, also go via Lyari). “Ji Madam”, the driver obeyed (Yes madam).
Her nap was disturbed when the car applied brakes, “Kya hai madarchod? Sone bhi nahi dega?” she asked sleepily as she got up (What motherfucker? Won’t even let me sleep?). She saw the driver and a policeman arguing, the car was right in front of the Welcome to Lyari arch, by the looks of his man’s uniform, he was an SP. “Kya sir? Jaane dijiye na. Andar kounsa khazana chuppa hain?” Aisha asked, irritated (What sir? Won’t even let us go inside. What precious treasure have you hidden there?). “Madam, Uzair Bhai ne kaha hain saare raste band karne ke liye, toh aap andar nahi ja sakte”, the man said (Madam Uzair Bhai has told us to block all the roads so you can’t go inside). “Kaun Uzair bhai? Sir main Jameel Jamali ki badi beti hoon, Aisha Jamali, ab andar ja sakte hain ya Abbu ko phone lagau?” she asked (What Uzair Bhai, sir I am Aisha Jamali, Jameel Jamali’s eldest daughter, can I go inside or should I call my father?). “Arre nahi Madam, bilkul nahi, koi baat nahi hain, aap ja sakte hain”, he said (No need madam, absolutely no need, you can go). “Khuda Hafiz Sir”, she said as she slid down to the backseat, she needed her nap (Bye Sir). “Khuda Hafiz”, the man said as the car started moving (Bye).
The car stopped again, “Ab kiski maiyath ho rahi hai?” she asked as she got up and the driver looked pale, she looked forward and saw that their car was in between a huge crowd, this was the Cheel Chowk market, and in front of them an auto was turned upside down and one of its wheels rotating aimlessly and a man was lying down, blood oozing out from his face, she squeezed herself in between the front seats and sat on the passenger seat (Now who is dying?). Then her eyes landed up on the man that was walking towards the one that was crawling away, he was in a baby blue kurta with dark blue pants, she couldn’t see his face as his was walking away from the car’s direction, “Rehman bhai”, the driver whispered, his voice was quavering with fear. “Chalne wala ya neeche wala?” Aisha asked (The one walking or the one on the ground?). “Chalne wala”, he replied as he looked at the man with bated breath, what was he going to do? Rehman reached next to the man bathed in blood, he knelt beside the other man. His twin kada clad right hand grabbed the one down by the collar and dragged him, the blood seeping out from his leg was following the trail (The one walking). “Neeche wale kon hai?” Aisha asked the driver quietly since the market was in pin drop silence (And the one on the ground?). “Babu Dakait”, he replied, she could see him turn three shades lighter. Babu Dakait was mumbling gibberish to Rehman as he dragged him and placed him on a vegetable cart, Rehman’s face was now visible for Aisha, He was gritting his teeth as he tightened his grip on Babu’s collar, a few strands of his hair falling on his forehead, Was it concerning that this soon to be murderer was looking too hot while going to commit a murder? Rehman leaned over and found a 5 kilogram weighing stone. The driver was ready to puke. Come on, attractive murderous man, do it. “Bacche ko nahi marna chahiye tha Babu”, Rehman said as he raised the weighing stone for the impact (Shouldn’t have killed the child Babu). DAMN! THAT VOICE! OMG.
He smashed it on Babu’s head nine times and Babu's brain was splashing to all sides. Aisha gave her driver a puking bag she stole from the airplane and gestured to him to puke inside it, the driver puked inside the bag and outside Rehman got up and let out a “WUH”. Hmm, an interesting man indeed. Rehman was walking towards the crowd now, blood spots splashed on his face. This is probably the most attractive I have seen someone look with blood on their face. “Aaj se Lyari mein Balochon ki hukumat hogi. Jo bhi dagabaazi karega, uska yehi haal hoga”, he announced (From today on Lyari is under the rule of the Balochs, anyone who betrays us will suffer the same fate). Aisha sat in awe. WHAT A GREAT WELCOME HOME.
Aisha patted on the driver’s back and he thanked her for it. “Ab chal bhai warna Abbu mere gumshuda hone ke notices chipkane lagenge”, she said (Now lets go otherwise my father will start pasting missing person notices of me). The driver looked at her in awe. Was this woman made of steel? He continued driving, he didn’t have the strength to speak. Aisha handed him a bottle of water and gestured to him to drink it, he gulped it hungrily with one of his hands and balanced the wheel with the other. Time for some intel collection. “Masla kya tha? Aur itni behrehmi se unhone Babu ko kyu mara?”, she asked (What was the issue? And why did he kill Babu so brutally?). The driver sighed, “Unke beech bohot saalon se problem chal raha tha. Lyari ka sabse zyada hissa Rehman bhai ke paas hain, aaj ke baad toh pura Lyari hi unki ho gayi aise samajh lo. Rehman bhai Babu Dakait ke najayaz aulad hain aur jab unhe yeh pata chala toh unhone apni ammi ka gala ret diya”, the driver said and looked at Aisha (There had been problems between them for many years, Rehman bhai has a large portion of Lyari under his rule but after today, you can say Rehman bhai controls Lyari. Rehman bhai is Babu Dakait's illegitimate child, and when he found out, he slit his own mother's throat). No reaction for her side. Hmm, Valid reaction. “Toh baap bete ke beech main humesha se hi jhagada tha aur kuch mahine pehle Babu ne Rehman ke bade bete Naieem ko maar diya tha uska badla lagta hain yeh”, the driver continued (So there was always a fight between father and son, and a few months ago Babu killed Rehman's eldest son Naieem, looks like this is revenge for that). He has kids? He is married? Oh man now that’s sad. My game ended before it could even start. “Biwi? Unki biwi hai?”, she asked (Wife? He has a wife?). “Thi. Kuch dil ka problem tha unhe aur jab unka chota beta Faizal char saal ka tha toh woh chal basi. Uske baad toh woh aur khoonkhar hogaye”, the driver replied (Had. She passed away. She had some heart problem and when their younger son Faizal was four years old, she passed away. After that he became even more bloodthirsty) . Phew! I still have a chance. “Acha!”, she said as she nodded (I see). The driver was confused. Someone died of heart problems and the best this woman could say is Acha? Sensing his judgemental stare she said, “Unko jannat naseeb ho” (May she rest in peace). The rest of the drive was in silence, Aisha had extracted the information she needed so she decided that her next step would be to complete her disturbed nap. She kept her sunglasses on and adjusted the seat to lean back and kept her both legs on the dashboard and said, “Bhai samajh kal raat sirf 2 ghante soyi hoon, gaadi ganda karne ke liye maafi chahta hoon aur mai extra paise de dungi” (Brother, understand my situation, I have slept only for 2 hours. I apologise for dirtying your car, I will pay you extra). “Koi baat nahi Madam, aap so jaiye”, he said and she dozed off (No problem Madam, you can sleep).
Sometime later the car stopped. “Ab yeh mat kaho ki Rehman bhai apne kisi aur dushman ki gaand mar raha hain”, she whined (Don’t tell me Rehman bhai is fucking one of his enemies in the ass). The driver chuckled and said, “Nahi madam, aapka ghar agaya hain” (No Madam, we have reached your house). She bolted up and got out, the driver had opened the trunk and was struggling with the suitcase and Aisha helped him and she turned towards the driver saying, “Yeh lo bhai, do hazar extra meri taraf se, gaadi ganda karne keliye” and put five thousand PKR onto his pocket and patted on his shoulder and gestured to him to leave (There you go brother, two thousand extra from my side for dirtying your car). He tried giving it back but she refused and waved at him as he left the house. She rang the doorbell and in a blink of an eye, Jameel appeared in the doorway and he was ecstatic, “Aisha, meri shehzadi”, he said as he hugged her tightly before trying to kiss on her cheeks, she chuckled as she lowered her head for the short burly man to do it. “Ekdum Mohammad Ali banni hui hain”, Jameel said as he ran his hands through her hair (You've become just like Muhammad Ali). “Baba aap bhi na”, she said as she laughed nervously (Oh Dad, Come on!). “Kya? Mai toh sach bol raha hoon. Dekho yeh dole shole ekdum pehelwan lag rahi ho”, he said as he gripped on her bicep which was pronounced through her shirt (What? I am telling the truth. Look at these muscles, you are like a wrestler now). Hearing all the noise Shabnam Jamali had come to the doorway to see Aisha coming in with her suitcase and Jameel had wrapped his hand around her muscular waist and brought her inside.
“Assalamualaikum Aisha”, she said politely with a smile. “Walaikum assalam”, Aisha replied back with a small smile. “Kaun hai Ammi?” A melodious voice echoed from the stairways inside (Who is it Ammi?). “DIDI!!!!”, the voice squealed, there she was. Yalina Jamali, Jameel and Shabnam’s daughter, Aisha’s teenage sister. She got down the stairs and launched herself onto Aisha and Aisha didn’t miss a beat, she wrapped one of her arms around her smaller frame and the other was going through her curly hair, “Easy there tigress, meri pelvis toot saktha tha”, she said (My pelvis can break). “Oh please! You are built like rock, aapko kuch nahi hoga”, Yalina replied (Nothing will happen to you). She looked at Jameel and said, “Baba, yeh suitcase abhi ke liye guest room mein rakh lo, later on I will make arrangements for the shifting tab tak mai iss Koala se deal karti hoon”, (Baba, for now the suitcase can stay in the guest room, till then let me deal with this Koala) “Mai Koala nahi hoon”, Yalina complained kicking her legs in protest. “Ha aur Brad Pitt mera shouhar hai”, she said as she carried Yalina to her room and she was punching on her shoulder blades in annoyance (I am not a koala. Yes and Brad Pitt is my husband). Jameel did what he was instructed. Shabnam decided that she would make Aisha her favourite Badam milk.
Meanwhile back in Yalina’s room, “Aap kyu ja rahi ho didi? Yaha ruko na”, Yalina whined (Why are you leaving? Stay here). “Lina! You know why I do that”, Aisha said. Silence stretched in the room Yalina knew, she understood it too well for a seventeen year old. No matter how close they were to Aisha, she was still an outsider. She was not Jameel’s actual daughter and could never be. That’s why when she mentioned that she will be buying a different house in Pakistan, Jameel agreed without even asking the location even though it ached his heart, but Jameel understood the message, Aisha didn’t want to disturb his own family and if that’s what she wanted he would happily let her have that because for him her feelings mattered more than his own, he had told her that his house’s door will always be open for her and she was welcomed here all the time. The room went quiet and that’s when Shabnaam entered with the Badam milk. Aisha took a sip and said, “Arre wah, kya banaya hai apne Shabnam khala. Ekdum mazedaar” (Oh wow, what have you made, Shabnam khala. Absolutely delicious). Aisha turned to Yalina and said, “Kuch seekho inse, paani ubalna tak aata hai tumhe?” Aisha asked (Learn something from her, do you even know how to boil water?). “Yeh kya baat hui? Cooking sirf auratein hi kare? Aap yeh Abbu se toh nahi pucthe ho!” Yalina asked (What kind of talk is this? Should only women cook? You don't ask Abbu this! ) . “Baba cook karne se acha kitchen mein aag hi laga do” Aisha said (It’s better to just set the kitchen on fire than let Baba cook). Yalina tried to control her laughter. “Cooking ek survival skill tabhi meri tarah akele rahenge toh bhi dhang ka khana kha ke jee paiyenge. Baba ko hi dekh lo, kal agar Shabnam khala ko bukhaar ho gaya toh cook rakhke waha bhi paisa barbaad kardenge”, Aisha said (Cooking is a survival skill so that even if you live alone like me, you can eat decent food and survive. Look at Baba, if Shabnam khala gets a fever tomorrow, he'll just waste money hiring a cook). Aisha had finished her badam milk and looked at Shabnam and said, “Mai saaf kar lungi, aap ja sakte hain” and Shabnam left (I will clean it up, you can go).
After nearly 4 hours of asking Aisha a wide variety of questions about her life in Dubai and secretly envying the freedom she had Yalina had finally face planted herself onto the bed and asked, “Didi! It's so boring, kahi chalte haina?” Aisha raised one of her eyebrows (Let’s go somewhere?). My throat feels like the Sahara and now she wants to go out now. Well I haven’t seen Lyari in a while. So let's go. Aisha goes to the guestroom and Yalina is confused. Why did she go away? Five minutes later, she entered the room, wearing a white high neck T-shirt and a black jacket thrown over it and black pants, her necklace gleaming brightly, she leaned onto the doorway and dabbed her hands slightly as she asked, “Toh chale long drive par?” (Shall we go for a long drive?) and Yalina was jumping up and down in excitement as she squealed, “Yes! Let’s go. Two minutes and I am ready”. “I will be waiting downstairs”, Aisha said as she left for the living room. She was sitting on the sofa with her earphones plugged on when Jameel saw her and asked, “Kahi ja rahe ho?”(Are you going somewhere?). “Ji Baba, mai aur Yalina ghoomne ja rahe hai”, she said after taking her earphones off (Yeah, me and Yalina are going out). “Waise meri bike ki chabhi doge?” she asked (Can I get my bike keys?). Jameel went inside his room and took out her bike keys and gave it to her, “Sambhal ke jana”, he said (Be careful). “Bilkul”, she said. “Waise tumhari job ki baat karte hai, tum meri speeches kyun nahi likh late?” Jameel asked (Lets talk about your job. Why don’t you draft my speeches?). “Baba please keep me away from your politics”, she said with disgust. “Phir kya chaihye?” he asked (Then what do you want?). “Kuch aur jo mere liye ho”, she replied (Something else which suits me). “Chale didi?” Yalina asked as she came down, Aisha and Jameel looked in her direction, she was wearing a green sleeve swing dress which stretched till her knees, hmm, modest enough, waise bhi she is her own being, Aisha, let her enjoy. (Shall we go?) Jameel was quiet and as he was about to speak, Aisha shot him a glare, “Tumhari job ka mai kuch karta hoon”, Jameel quickly changed the subject (I will do something about your job). Aisha took Yalina’s hands and got out and climbed on her bike and Yalina followed and wrapped her hand around Aisha’s waist, Aisha fixed her helmet and started the bike, “Toh bolo hume pehle kaha jaana hai?” she asked as the bike moved out of the house (So where should we go first?). “Chalo club chalte hai”, Yalina asked (Lets go to a club). “Thik hain but on one condition, no drinking”, Aisha said firmly. “Manzoor hai, lekin you shouldn’t drink as well”, Yalina asked (It’s fine for me). Aisha’s eyebrows shot up, “Kyu? I am way above the legal drinking age”, she said. “Toh phir mai bhi piyungi”, Yalina said stubbornly (Then I will drink too). AGH. Teenage girls and their stubbornness. “Thik hai”, Aisha said. “Lekin ek aur baat agar koi ladka tumhe tang kare toh Allah Kassam uska haat kaat donga”, Aisha continued and it sounded like a promise (If some boy disturbs you, I swear to god, I will cut his hand off). “Didi aap bhi na”, Yalina sighed, completely done with her sister’s overprotectiveness (Come on Didi).
a/n: Hope you guys enjoyed, hit like if you did. I would appreciate your feedback in the comments. Don't worry Rehman and Aisha are going to meet in the next chapter and can't wait to show you guys their dynamics
