Satoshi blinked, staring in awe of the gun. It was really cool looking⦠And the only time heās truly seen a gun is when heās running away from grabbing something from the market and getting caught or when Satoko showed off. He had gotten so distracted and interested that he hadnāt realized how close he was.
āO-oh! Damn, Iām sorry! I kinda zoned out of itā¦ā
His eyes were a bit frantic but their general direction was to the floor the whole time as he nervously averted his gaze. His state was the whole reason he had irritated the other, so looking away was the first solution. The pilot backed up folding his hands over each other as his arms hung stiffly as if nervous for an interview or something of that sort. His eyes would quickly glance from the ground to the boy⦠Then back to the ground.
Ā Ā Ā The kid seemed so out of it. Haku felt a little bad about snapping at himā but there was now this guy'sĀ safetyĀ at hand. Gun safety was something that Haku took very,Ā veryĀ seriously and he didnāt want anyone to get hurt in some kind of freak accident, especially since his safety was off as he was prepared to shoot. He lets out a deep breath as heās finally given some room, relaxing slowly as he sets the gun right back into place against his shoulder.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Squinting through the scope, the Hunter aims for his mark before his body goes rigid to prepare for the aftershock. āPlug your ears. This is gonna be loud.ā he says loud enough for the other kid to hear him before his finger moves into the loop and over the trigger. He squeezes andĀ BOOMĀ the gun practically sounded like an explosion as he fires off into his target, hitting it dead center. He quickly straightens up, flicking on the safety with a finger before turning his head to look at his one member audience.Ā
Ā Ā Ā āDid ya see that?! I totally hit my mark!ā he seemed excitedā it wasnāt every day someone was watching you, after all. Things were different in the woods. āSorry I was so rude earlier, I jusā didnāt want ya t'get hurt or nothinā. The nameās Haku, by the way.ā

Ā Ā āI am in class 77-B. Assuming you are younger⦠yes, that would be correct. My name is Sonia Nevermind, it is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance.ā she said.Ā āMay I have your name?ā
Ā Ā Ā āSonia, huh? Thatās a real pretty name! I think youāre the first person Iāve met that aināt fromĀ āround here.ā He says, giving her a little grin. When asked to introduce himself, Haku bows down in a very old fashioned greeting.Ā āThe nameās Haku Kadokawa, the Super High School Level Hunter! Iām class 80-A!Ā āS nice tāmeet ya!ā
studentsofhopex:
āWhat if we get kicked out?ā He asked raising a brow at him.
Ā Ā Ā āKicked out? Donāt sweat it! I got full faith in myself anā my plan!ā
nonplayercharxcter:
All of a sudden Chiaki stops and looks up again, her expression incredibly serious. She seems like a completely different person, as if Haku activated some sort of switch in her head. Games are no laughing matter for her⦠sometimes.
ā'Harvest Moonā and āBokujou Monogatariā are actually the same thing! The company that owns the rights to the name āHarvest Moonā in the United States took that right and started making their own games under that title, so XSEED, the new publishers over in the west, were forced to give the real games a new English name! Itās totally unfair, donāt you think?! Theyāre tricking people into buying a knockoff brand!ā
Ā Ā Ā Listening to the gamer talk, Haku felt like he was actuallyĀ learningĀ something. Sure, it could be considered useless knowledge, but it was interesting. That's what mattered. "Huh, is that so? I never really thought of it like that 'fore. Although then again, I'm not much of a gamer myself. Should I take a wild guess an' say you're our very own, Super High School Level Gamer? I mean-- who else could know all that cool stuff about companies and game titles?"
shpionaz:
āāā ! Ā āYeah! The teachers here are really strict thoughā¦but you know the faculty in the Main Course lets people wear whatever they want, right?ā Ā Ā Ā DAISUKE LOOKS DOWN, a little frown on his face. Itās nowhere near the WORST of his troubles, but his teachers donāt need to constantly reprimand him for how he dresses. (Besides, he doesnāt even know how to tie a tie!) Ā Ā Ā āBut itās alright now!ā he concludes, looking back at the boy with a tilted head. āI meanā¦if you didnāt know, you do now, right? But what are you doing over here in the Reserve Course, yo ne?ā
Ā Ā Ā "A lil'. I mean, we still gotta wear our uniform but if ya add someĀ extrasĀ like I got, they don't really have no problems with it." he says, gesturing to his hunting jacket and satchel. He always wore his cammo no matter if he was out of season or not. It was like hisĀ trade mark,Ā like how this kid's tie was probably the same type of think.Ā
Ā Ā Ā A wide smile crosses Haku's face at the question as to why he's over here. "I could tell ya, but then I'd have t'kill ya." he says, pausing for dramatic effect before quietly chuckling. "Jus' kidding! I'm checkin' out what's all the hubbubb goin' on 'bout you guys! Gettin' a feel for the new school, y'know?"
triptocaiine:
āHave you ever evenĀ seenĀ a play before?ā
The words are out of his mouth before he can stop them and the look on his face all but CONFIRMSĀ his mortification. A little chuckle escapes but itās coloured with a marked disgust, as if heās about to vomit.Ā āUgh. Rude. Sorry. What I meant was⦠most people donāt mix up plays with movies. Itās all actinā, but itās⦠completely different.ā
He swallows, averting his eyes for a moment. Despite everything, Norman really hasnāt been COMPLIMENTEDĀ all that much. Especially not by a guy his age. Flush rising to his cheeks, he looks to Haku. Thereās something in his eye that communicates that this is difficult,Ā that heās not well-versed in social graces and that he needs helpĀ and patience.
āThe, uh⦠I couldā for one thing, stage acting involves a lot of blocking.Ā In movies, most of the visual variance involves camerawork. Onstage, you gotta really WORKĀ the scene, make sure you use the space ās best you can so you donāt lose interest. Once you move, you make it interestinā; then your audienceā heh,Ā canāt keep their eyes off ya.ā
Ā Ā Ā "No harm done, but....Would ya be surprised if I said no...?"Ā
Ā Ā Ā Haku had never actually seen a stage play before. He's only ever seen movies and television shows-- but he guessed that by Norman's reaction, they wereĀ veryĀ different. "But if you're ever in one, I think I'd like t'come see you perform. I mean...Just watching that wasĀ amazing! I ain't ever seen nothin' like it 'fore."Ā
Ā Ā Ā He sits patiently, listening to Norman explain to him the differences in stage acting and film acting. He thinks he understands a little better by the end and he offers his new friend a little grin. "I see. I think I get it now." he says, pushing himself up to his feet once more. "I guess there's a lot more t'stage actin' than I thought there was. Huh, goes t'show ya that when it's not somethin' ya grew up 'round or doin', you don't really know much 'bout it at all."Ā
Ā Ā Ā But he'd like to learn more-- really. Maybe he wouldn't become an actor or anything, but it would help him actually get to know Norman. If there was something they both seemed to need, it was friends. With Norman not being well versed in social interaction and Haku desperately craving it, who could name a better match of friends?
ITāS HARDER THAN YOU THINK. NO USING GOOGLE. EVERY ANSWER MUST START WITH THE FIRST LETTER OF YOUR MUSEāS NAME.

Ā Ā Ā āTheseāre actually pretty good! I canāt say Iāve ever been tāa real deal Japanese style cafe before--! All sortsa new flavors for my mouth tātry! Although you wouldnāt happen to have any kind of classic stuff like cupcakes or sugar cookies, would ya?ā
@chloriineheart
Ā Ā Ā āIām really digginā the hair! How dāya make it go up all swirly like that? Think you could work that kinda magic on mine?ā Haku lifts up the limp blank ponytail that hung over his shoulder, letting it fall back against his jacket. This girlās hair looked so fun like it was some kind of ice cream swirl! How did she get it like that?! Was it massive amounts of hairspray and a sacrifice to the hair gods in hopes for a luscious lock field this summer?
@beeutifulmuses
Ā Ā Ā āSāwhat youāre sayinā is that thereās over sixty of ya guys here and no oneās found a way out yet? How long have ya guys even been here?ā Haku turns around slowly, looking around at the Glade. He had come here just a day ago and had already gone through his stages of freaking out. Upon waking up, he had just accepted his fate to live out the rest of his days in some concrete prison with at least fifty five other boys all around him.Ā
Ā Ā Ā It could be worse, he had to admit. He could be alone and behind bars with no one else around him to talk to or make his wisecracks to.Ā
Ā Ā Ā āI mean, aināt ya ever tried just...climbinā over everythinā and walkināĀ ālong the top?ā It seemed reasonable to him, after all.Ā
@triptocaiine didnāt like for a starter but theyāre getting one anyways
Ā Ā Ā āSo, you said you were from Boston, right? A big city like that-- what really got ya into theatre, man?ā Haku has no problem settling in comfortably next to Norman at the lunch table just as he has no problems in speaking in their shared native tongue.Ā āI mean, there aināt that mucha theatre or drama influence there right? Did your old man teach ya how tāact like that or?ā
Ā Ā Ā He wasnāt trying to be invasive-- he actually found his new friend quite interesting, to say the truth.
}}Iām finally here! I owe some things so Iām going to list them down below but if anyone would like a starter, feel free to go ahead and LIKE THIS POST!
