Without & with Castle 🥹
You know what else I love about this? When you compare it to The Final Nail, in The Final Nail, he comes to her after they’ve “fought,” but here she comes to him. She comes to him and she’s willing to hear what he has to say. Just like he came back to her the season before, she comes back to him.
I just love their respect for each other. Castle understanding the value Beckett places on justice, Beckett understanding why Castle is so protective of Weldon.

Love grumpy Beckett
Yes. Always good for a laugh.
Especially that scene in that episode. She wanted a weekend of sex. Sex on the beach, sex in the pool, sex everywhere. Instead, she got a dead man interrupting their skinny dipping, a cop implying she’s a hooker, her boyfriend obsessed with solving this crime, her co-workers trying to figure out who her boyfriend is, then she decides to go along with her boyfriend’s obsession and it gets her thrown into lockup with a meth addict and her way too happy boyfriend.
All she wanted is sex, and she got this. Of course, she’s grumpy.
