Watching the woman go through report after report in her office, Hanzo did his best to be silent as he entered, not wanting to distract her from her work. Then, once in front of her desk, Hanzo put down a box of chocolate right in front of her before turning on his step and heading out the door.

Well, it would suffice to say she didn’t even hear the footsteps as they entered her office. He was as silent as they say. Angela has a ton of work to do, as always, sighing as she signed yet another form and setting it aside for the next person to initial later. The labs weren’t an issue really, and she enjoyed doing them, but the damn paperwork afterwords... actually, she typically enjoyed that, too! Her professors had often times said she wrote too much and examined too far into things. Being critical of every detail was on of her specialties. That seemed to end with just her eyes and reading comprehension however, since her ears had just failed her.

“Oh?” She looked up, reading glasses hung up on the tip of her nose as she looked up from the box of chocolates that were suddenly in her view. Hanzo was already on his way out of the room as she opened her mouth to speak, standing up from her chair.

“Hanzo? Ah, wait!” Hanzo was so quick! Scheiße... The chocolates looked so good, what was the occasion and why would he just drop them off and leave? Angela pouted as she moved around her desk, legs wobbly and half asleep from the left calf down from sitting so long that she stumbled, letting out a soft groan. She pushed herself through it however to give chase, heels clicking against the linoleum as she forced herself to move faster to catch up with him outside her office.

“Hey?” Angela smiled as she reached out informally to grab his wrist. “Was ist das? Chocolate? Did I miss something?”

12. Your opinion on giving canon characters mental illnesses.

Oof. I’ll admit that I’m pretty... half and half on this one. On one hand, it’s great to give people the representation they need and to help cope with mental illness through means of fictional writing, on the other hand... I’ve seen people use mental illness as an excuse for the characters, seen it written badly and in poor taste, and basically have seen certain illnesses romanticized to the point where people try to emulate these certain qualities on purpose instead of trying to get help.

Stuff like that ultimately leads to it being harder for people with these illnesses to get the proper help. I tend to not give my muses these illnesses for those reasons. If you do, and you’re doing it correctly and safely, then good for you! Keep on keeping on. Just please be aware of the ramifications. I guarantee that at one point or another, someone with the illness you HC your muse with is going to read your work and either identify with your portrayal, or be disgusted by it.
