Hopping out of the taxi, you nearly face planted again if not for Jotaro catching you by the harness, managing to grab the handle on it in time.
“Good grief.” He chuckled while you got back on your paws, him letting go once you did. Paying the driver, Jotaro motioned you to follow. Despite having you on a leash, he never purposefully tugged you, only if the two of you accidentally drifted apart a bit too much did you feel the line go taut.
Walking up to the door, Jotaro rung the doorbell as you sat down right behind him. For some reason, you really wanted attention, so you tilted your head up and pressed your nose into his hand.
Just as he rung again, Jotaro felt a wet nose press against his hand. Looking down, you were looking at him with a pleading look and he sighed, unwrapping the leash from his right hand and moving it to his left so he could pet you with a free hand. Just mindlessly scratching your head and behind your ears.
Just then, the door opened and Jotaro turned his head from looking down at you, over to the door to see Josuke standing there.
“M-Mr. Jotaro?” Josuke said in surprise, not expecting his nephew to be at the door.
“Josuke, is the old man here still?” Jotaro questioned, looking over the high-schooler into the house.
“Uh, yeah, he’s taking a nap in the guest room right now. Why, is something wrong?”
“You can say that. Is it okay if she comes in?” Jotaro questioned, motioning his hand with the leash to you and Josuke only now seemed to notice you sitting there.
You had kind of tuned out of the conversation, just basking in the scratches you were receiving from Jotaro but snapped back into attention when Jotaro motioned to you, the movement making the metal on the harness and leash clink together softly.
“Oh! Uh, yeah that’s okay.” Josuke blinked a few times, stepping aside to allow room. “Uh, I didn’t know you had a... dog, Mr. Jotaro.” He nervously spoke as the two of you stepped in.
“I don’t.”
Rolling your eyes as best you could, you let out a little huffy noise before bumping into Jotaro’s leg, trying to stop him from confusing the kid even further.
In retaliation, Jotaro softly bapped your snout and you playfully growled a bit, making him scoff.
The door closed behind you both and Jotaro leant down a bit, unclipping the leash from the harness and putting it in his coat pocket. Seeing him do that, you tilted your head, sending him a worried glance and Jotaro noticed.
“We’re all Stand users here, if something goes wrong we can stop you.” He spoke to you before walking further into the house.
No matter what, you couldn’t disagree with that but that didn’t mean you trusted yourself enough to be off that leash. With your head hung low, you followed Jotaro into the living room where he had sat down on the couch and layed down right in front of him, plopping your chin on your front paws as you laid on his feet. You didn’t want to get fur and such on the pristine couches, opting to stay on the ground.
“Uhm, Mr. Jotaro, I’m confused.” Josuke walked into the living room, making Jotaro raise his head and look at his uncle.
“Understandable.” Jotaro sighed. “Take a seat.” He motioned to the opposite end of the couch and Josuke did as he said, sitting down before curiously eyeing your form on the floor.
“So...?”
“My wife was attacked by a Stand and got turned into this. We need the old man’s help to find the user and reverse this.” Jotaro explained and Josuke’s jaw dropped.
“That’s Mrs. Kujo?!” The teen called and Jotaro grumbled at the loud expression, pulling his hat over his eyes while you perked your head up, looking at Josuke and nodding happily to hopefully convince him a little bit more that your husband wasn’t just pulling a very shittily executed prank.
The teen blinked a few times before swallowing nervously. “So, would you want me to wake him?” He asked, referring to his dad sleeping in the other room.
“No, if he is well rested we have a better chance for his pictures to be a bit clearer. We’ll just wait.” Jotaro sighed, looking down at you. You felt Josuke’s eyes on you as well, feeling slightly uncomfortable with all the eyes on you, but then again, you understood why.
“Do you want me to try and fix her?” Josuke suddenly spoke up, making your husband turn his gaze to him.
“I don’t think it’ll do much but there’s no harm in trying. Feel free.” He waved his hand a bit dismissively in your direction but sat up a bit nonetheless, watching with a little anticipation to see what would happen.
Bringing out Crazy Diamond, you watched as the Stand slowly approached you with outstretched arms.
Getting up, you scooted a bit more toward the middle of the room before sitting down patiently and obediently. You watched as the Stand carefully put its hands on either side of your muzzle, the healing energy flowing out of Crazy Diamond’s hands and into you.
You closed your eyes as it washed over you, keeping them closed even as the Stand’s hands retreated. It was Jotaro’s click of his tongue that made you open your eyes again.
Still a wolf.
Jotaro was disappointed but not surprised.
“Sorry…” Josuke spoke a little dejectedly but his nephew was quick to reassure him.
“I didn’t expect it to work, Josuke. You have no reason to apologise.”
Well, that was about the shittiest way of reassuring something was fine that you had heard in a while. With a huff, you just flopped sideways, crashing into your husbands’s legs before rolling onto your back, paws in the air as you looked at him, letting out a groaning whiny sound, to which Jotaro raised his brow.
“What?” He grumbled a little, to which you huffed through your nose before just putting your head down on the ground upside down, paws still bent and in the air.
Josuke was just looking on in slight bewilderment, both at how calm Jotaro was, but also in how you two were communicating even anything. “So… how long has this been going on?”
“I found her last night.” Jotaro sighed as he leaned down, running his hand through the fur in between your front paws, a content rumble leaving you at the feeling. “We’ve been trying to track the Stand user today but-“ Jotaro stopped when you suddenly got up and turned around to sit, watching as you brought your front paw up to try and reach for a spot on your back. Ah, you had an itch.
“No luck?” Josuke finished the marine biologist’s sentence for him and said man hummed.
You were trying very hard to get rid of this itch, deciding to turn your body in a bit of a U shape and use your back leg like you had seen dogs doing. In trying this however, you lost your balance and toppled sideways, crashing into the tv kabinet and making everything wobble precariously.
You yelped and instantly threw yourself the other way, quickly whipping around and looking up at Josuke while a small apologetic whine leaving your throat.
The two Joestars watched as your ears were pinned all the way to the side, adding to your sad look, and Josuke was quick to put up his hands.
“It’s okay, nothing broke!”
He was right, but you still felt bad. Sighing deeply, you just walked back over to Jotaro and lay down. For some reason you wanted to be really close to him all the time, preferably touching - showing in how you were back to laying on top of his shoes.
“Mr. Jotaro?” Josuke spoke up, making the man turn his head. “Why is she wearing a harness? I mean, if she’s still just normal only.. a wolf body, y’know?”
Nodding approvingly at his observation, Jotaro reached into his pocket and produced the leash he had been holding before. “Because there seems to be more to this Stand than just changing appearance.” He said, showing off the leather to the high schooler. “She’s mentally turning into a wolf as well. Twice already she’s had a moment of losing control, and I speculate those episodes are only going to become more regular and last longer, the longer she stays like this. Until it is eventually too late.”
“That’s why you want to find the Stand user so fast.” Josuke mused and Jotaro grunted in affirmation, putting the leash back into his pocket before the two fell into a silence. In all this time, you were just laying with your chin on your front paws, your eyes looking between the two, letting out a sigh into the silence that fell, having come to the same conclusion as Jotaro earlier.
“Josuke.” Jotaro speaking up after a while of silence made the boy shoot up a bit to sit straight.
“Ah, yes?”
“Can she stay here?” The question caught both Josuke as well as yourself off guard. “Morioh Grand Hotel does not allow animals. I managed to smuggle her in last night but that won’t work again.” Jotaro spoke, figuring it was best to explain himself.
“Oh, uhm…” Josuke turned a little doubtful now. He had no problems with it! It’s just that… his mom might. And no offence, but fur would probably be difficult to get rid of before his mom came back tomorrow.
“You can send your mom my way if it grows to be a problem.” Almost as if he could read the boy’s mind, Jotaro said that.
“What about you?” Josuke then asked and you lifted and turned your head towards Jotaro, big eyes aimed at him. Your heart was beating a million miles per hour for some reason. The thought of being alone while going through this all, no Jotaro by your side? It made you incredibly anxious. No offence to Josuke, who’d most likely be here, but he just wasn’t Jotaro.
Before the man could answer, you got up onto your back legs, placing your front paws on his knees as you easily reached up and grabbed the tip of his hat’s brim between your teeth, yanking it from his head before running off to the kitchen with it.
Just simply widening his eyes, Jotaro looked on in astonishment as you tripled away, taking note of how your ears were sadly drooped down again.
Josuke himself looked on with big eyes. One, because you just grabbed his hat and ran off for no reason, and two, because this was the first time he ever saw his stoic nephew without his hat. Even when the man was staying in his house thanks to Angelo, he never saw him without.
“Y/N.” Jotaro spoke before getting up off the couch, walking after you into the kitchen, to which you quickly shot behind the dining table, tail quite literally between your legs.
Your back was just as high as the tabletop, even sticking out a little bit given your size, but you had your head bowed low, not giving Jotaro a view of it.
“Y/N, come here.” Jotaro ordered but you didn’t listen, just staying behind the table. With furrowed brows, the man started walking around and you quickly moved along with him, trying to keep the table as much between the two of you as you could.
Suddenly, you felt a tug as you stopped mid-step. Trying to push forward, you felt the harness pushing against you and turned to look back to see Star Platinum holding onto the handle on the back, a stern expression on his face that made you make yourself as small as possible, especially as Jotaro walked back around the table in your direction, you started struggling, trying to move backwards even despite the Stand’s firm hold, your ears fully turned away now.
With a critical look, Jotaro crouched down in front of you, making you back up as much as you could, almost hanging in the harness now as you tucked your neck in as much as you could.
Sticking out his hand, you got his meaning and gently released his hat and dropped it into his palm; to which he inspected the garment before happily noting there were no teeth prints in the brim as he briefly wiped it off before putting it back on his head.
Reaching his right hand forward, you struggled again and Jotaro frowned. “I’m not mad.” He gently spoke, to which you relaxed, no longer struggling against the Stand holding onto you. Continuing to reach forward, Jotaro softly grabbed your snout, almost analysing you as he brought his left hand up to scratch you behind the ear, to which it turned a slightly more happy up.
“Mr. Jotaro? Is everything okay?” Josuke spoke a little nervously, having watched the entire scene from the junction of the living room leading into the kitchen.
“It’s this fucking Stand. It seems that apart from those drastic moments where she loses herself, it’s happening on a more subtle - fundamental level as well.”
“Y-You mean she’s turning into a wolf completely already?”
Jotaro hid his eyes behind his hat as he stood up and spoke, recalling Star Platinum as he did. “You know how dogs get clingy with their owners?” Josuke nodded slowly, switching his eyes between the marine biologist and you. “Pair that with human intelligence. That’s where she’s at right now.”
Hearing that, your eyes widened. Was that what was happening? You didn’t know. You didn’t know anything that was going on. Things were so confusing and you felt like you were just stuck in the middle of it, unable to do anything. You were losing yourself and you couldn’t even notice it!
Unbeknownst to you, you had started hyperventilating and softly whining and both Jotaro and Josuke noticed, the former crouching down in front of you.
“Y/N?” Getting no response, the man put his hand under your snout, trying to get your attention. “Y/N. Look at me.” He spoke again, you listening this time as you raised your head to meet his eyes.
Jotaro’s brows furrowed as he saw tears falling, soaking into your fur. Well, that was a more human thing that still worked. Bringing his other hand up, he used his thumb to wipe them away.
“It’s gonna be fine. We’ll find the user and turn you back on time.”
Closing your eyes, you just focused on your husband’s touch, trying to calm yourself down. But the more you tried, the worse your erratic breathing got. You started silently crying harder and harder, not even really understanding why.
Jotaro noticed as well and softly muttered a “Hey.” Trying to get your attention, but the moment you opened your eyes, he sat back up on his haunches in alarm.
Barely any warning, you lunged at him with a threatening bark, Jotaro diving to his left into the legs of the table, barely making you miss him by a hair.
Josuke jumped to his feet in surprise, not understanding what was going on as you landed on your feet and whipped in the boy’s direction, snarl on your face. Barely a second later, you jumped at him.
“Josuke!” Jotaro called out and immediately brought out Star Platinum, activating time stop.
Within stopped time, he got onto his feet and managed to step forward, grabbing Josuke and yanking the boy towards himself.
Time continued moving and you bit at nothing, once more landing on your feet as you turned back to the two men.
“Jotaro, what’s going ON!?” Josuke called out, only to jump back in fright at the last word, as you simultaneously jumped forward.
Star Platinum was over by your side, trying to grab hold of your harness so there was nothing to protect Jotaro, given it was too soon to use time stop again.
Simply pushing Josuke back with his left hand, the marine biologist held his right arm protectively in front of himself, giving you ample time to sink your teeth into his forearm.
Jotaro clenched his teeth and grunted in pain as he spun in place, the force of your jump making you swing around and pull his arm along, the movement shredding Jotaro’s flesh even more.
Yet as suddenly as you had bit him, you let go.
Landing on your ass, you scrambled back and Jotaro and Josuke watched as you moved over to the wall, right before purposefully bashing your skull into it.
The moment you had tasted blood, the haze you were in partially lifted.
Context clues making you realise what was going on, a horror dawned on you and you tried to take control back. Moving away and ramming your head into the nearest wall seeming the best way to do it.
You yelped at the pain before shaking your head. Feeling your head pound, you were breathing heavily as you sluggishly came back to completely.
Lifting your head up, your eyes landed on your husband who was cradling his right arm as he looked at you, blood dripping down from the wound and staining his white coat.
You… hurt him.
You wanted to apologise but just physically couldn’t. Tasting his blood, you slowly backed up into the kitchen corner, away from both the Joestars as Josuke brought out Crazy Diamond to heal Jotaro.
Once he was healed up, Jotaro flexed his fist for a second before approaching you, to which you pressed back into the wall as much as you could before looking left and right, looking for a way out. You didn’t want him to come close to you. You didn’t trust yourself.
Jotaro kept getting closer - a little tentatively though this time - and you quickly shot to the left, once again running around the table before getting past Josuke as quickly as you could, running back into the living room of the Higashikata’s.
Moving past the couches and chairs, you ran into the furthest corner you could find, squeezing yourself past the chair that had been pushed into it and hiding behind it.
You lay down as best as you could, just curling up into yourself with your nose pressed into the corner itself. Isolation at its finest.
-
“Are you okay, Mr. Jotaro?” Josuke quietly asked as the stoic man just stared at the corner you disappeared in. “Mr. Jotaro?”
At that, the man blinked before letting out a grunt in affirmation.
“What just happened?”
“That’s what happens when she goes feral and completely turns wolf.” Was Jotaro’s simple reply, his eyes turning to look at his uncle.
Josuke just looked slightly confused however. “But if she’s turning into a wolf, why would she attack?”
“I was holding her face. She did what any animal does when it feels cornered or trapped. Lash out.”
“Is that what it was?” Josuke asked, just genuinely unsure but Jotaro sent a nasty glare his way to shut him up.
That conversation was clearly over.
-
You heard the footsteps, you knew Jotaro was walking towards you.
Tucking your legs and tail further in on yourself, you just closed your eyes and stayed turned away. You were too scared to hurt him again. Despite you magically hoping he would go away, rustling of clothes and a small grunt from next to you sounded out, proving he didn’t.
Jotaro had just sat down on the floor, his back to the wall as he looked to his right, to where he saw your fur in the shadows of the chair.
“I sent Josuke out to get dinner.”
Raising an eyebrow your way, he got barely even the indication you were breathing, let alone listening, making him sigh.
“Y/N, you know it’s not your fault, why are you sulking?”
His words made you curl your lips up, a soft snarl leaving you as you glared at the little bit of white you could see peeking out from behind where you were hiding.
Hearing the noise, Jotaro now knew you were listening, yet your abundant dismissal made him narrow his eyes before abruptly getting up.
You heard him do so, listening intently to what he was up to but even with your newly advanced hearing, his sock-clad feet barely made any noise.
Sitting tensely for a second, hoping he just went away, you were startled when the sofa-chair was suddenly ripped away, flooding your little corner with light before it was blocked by a very familiar tall frame.
Not having enough time to try and get up and turn around, there was nothing you could do as Jotaro put his arms under your body and lifted you with a small grunt.
Letting a scared yelp leave you as you were elevated, you felt Jotaro bounce you in his arms, turning you around that way until your paws were on his shoulders with you facing him, both arms under your butt to support you as you clung to him best you could, too scared to fall.
Looking over his shoulder, you watched as Star Platinum carefully placed the chair back in its designated spot before you invaded it, right before fading back into Jotaro’s body.
“Stop being such a pouty puppy, would you?” The man holding you huffed, a little amusement in his voice as a corner of his lip turned up by how much you frantically leaned into him. As if a tiny drop such as this would kill you. “I’m fine, you’re fine, and I’m not holding the effects of a Stand attack against you. Do you really think I would?”
Right now, with the way Jotaro was holding you, he was basically looking at a wall of fur upon tilting his head. In response, you murmured some noises he had no way of understanding and Star Platinum materialised as just an arm, placing its large hand on your head placatingly.
“Stop blaming yourself, idiot.”
Though the words were what you were used to from Jotaro, he spoke it in such a gentle voice that you couldn’t stop the small whine from leaving your throat, relaxing in his arms as you un-tensed your muscles and let your head hang past his shoulder - Star Platinum still giving tentative pets.
Feeling you melt into his arms basically, Jotaro let out a silent relieved sigh. “Yare yare.”
“Say, Josuke, have you seen-“ The voice of a very familiar old man sounded out as Joseph walked into the kitchen and over to the living room, only to freeze when he saw very much not Josuke standing smack dab in the middle.
Having turned around the moment he heard the old man’s voice, Jotaro looked at his grandfather like he usually did, as if he wasn’t holding a massive furry creature nor appeared out of nowhere.

the volleyball game against karasuno was soon to be ending. you sat there on the bleachers worried for him.
will they win? will they lose?
you had no idea but it was the only thing on your mind. each time aoba johsai scored a point, you got so excited. and each time karasuno scored a point, you got nervous.
after some time, aoba johsai ended up losing to karasuno. as the boys rushed to clean up the court and get whatever they needed, you rushed down.
you ran over to oikawa and iwaizumi, "no matter what, you guys are amazing. our team is amazing. one loss doesn't mean the end of it!"
you shouted, oikawa stood there as he tried his best to smile. knowing that his best was on the court. iwaizumi smiled softly and pat your head.
"i can leave you with him for a moment," iwaizumi said as he walked away.
"tooru, it's okay to show defeat. but guess what? you didn't lose in my eyes. you put your all into it, and i know in the future you'll be an amazing player!"
"you're not gonna stop until i smile, well of course. my smile, is beautiful~"
"you're an idiot, tooru. but you are also a good player. a loss is a loss, but if you learn from it, it can be a win."
oikawa perked up and smiled, "mhm? i guess so. wow, i never knew you were so smart, y/n-chan! did you learn it from me?~"
you rolled your eyes and brushed it off.
later as everyone was walking to the nearest ramen shop, you couldn't help but think oikawa is hiding something.
and of course, you weren't wrong. he's oikawa, he dislikes to be below anyone.
as you all entered the ramen shop and ordered your meals, you decided to become brave and ask away.
"uh, hey, tooru? would-"
"y/n-chan, wanna go on a coffee date with me?"
"did you.. just read my mind?"
"oo~ did i? might be another amazing skill i have. because i'm so talented!"
"i could just say no,"
"hey, don't do that"
you all ended up having fun and forgetting about the loss. until kindaichi cried about it. fun while it lasted.
being aoba johsai's manager was simple enough. and the boys weren't AS troublesome as you thought. besides oikawa's fangirls on him every second like moths to light.
a few days passed, to which came the date that you and oikawa decided to go to a café.
oikawa, of course, thought he was so romantic and slick choosing a place that was lowkey expensive. your poor wallet probably won't recover.
you sat down at a window seat and waited for his arrival, to your surprise it wasn't that long of a wait.
"you got here pretty fast,"
"do you really think that low of me?"
"maybe"
you both laughed it off and got your desired drinks. you guys talked about a lot of things, to your surprise once again you had things in common.
besides being a cocky bastard who thinks you're the prettiest princess. now that crown, goes to him.
"y'know tooru, you're pretty"
"i-i'm what?"
"pretty.. annoying sometimes. you have to learn how to not be so stubborn sometimes. i know you're still sulking about the loss"
"and here i thought you'd be nice to me"
"maybe this will help your idiocy"
you give him a small kiss on the cheek as you pack your things and walk out the café. smiling and waving at him as he's burning red and in shock.
a bit after you left, he decided to text you.
"thank you for being here for me"
