Chuckling, she nodded at him, eyes sparkling. ❝That, I did. Was hoping that I would be the most memorable woman you have ever had here.❞ Quinn was hoping that both of them would rock each other’s worlds enough to sedate them until they were able to reunite again. ❝So, do your worse.❞ She smirked at him, hoping that he would simply ravish her and remind her just how much he desires her. One of her hands moved to his chest, feeling the heat beneath it.
A huff of air rushed from his nose at her words. Maybe it was because that was already the case in his mind, it didn't have to be sexual, he remembered the minute he met more than anything else. Still clear as day to him even now. That wasn't information he thought she needed to know, however. It seemed better to continue the moment, not to twist everything around with a conversation he knew wouldn't end with one sentence. A chuckle was offered back towards her before he leaned in once again to lock in another kiss, hands on her thighs offering them a tight squeeze, positive there would never be a time when he didn't enjoy how it felt for fingers to press against her skin.

Pants left her slightly swollen lips as he pulled back, blue eyes darkened with need. Her hands moved to his shoulders as he lifted her on the cooler bar. She shivered slightly as her heels fell off. She knew the shivers were from need rather than the temperature of the air around them. ❝Perfect,❞ she told him with a nod. As he stood before her, her legs moved to wrap around his waist, smiling softly at him. ❝Seems to me that you got me where you want me to be, Mr. Coldburn.❞ A chuckle left her lips as she moved the bottom of her dress so that it wasn’t in the way of anything.
He had absolutely no idea where he would be if it weren't for the other. It wouldn't be a surprise if he was dead somewhere, Marcus somehow magically alive, most likely due to the fact that his older brother always cleaned up his messes, took the blame for things when he didn't need to. No, the other made him be more careful, all to keep that promise to always come home. Though it did make him worry if one day he wouldn't be able to keep that promise to her. ❝If I remember correctly, you're the one that brought up sex in the bar.❞ The male pointed out with a quick chuckle as hands slid from the bar, pushing to find a home against her thighs under her dress.

The feeling of the bar on her back had her heart pounding harder against her chest. No one could touch her like he did. Make her feel like he does. Micah opened her eyes to a new world- one where she gets what she wants and she doesn’t have to feel bad about it. He taught her how to be brave and speak her mind, more that she already had. Fingers moved down his chest, dancing along all the black that he wore. Finding the buttons on his vest, she let out a soft moan. Always trying to make her go nuts when he wore this outfit. He had to know how much it turned her on. From the tight henley he wore beneath the vest, to the rolled up sleeves that showed his tattoos. And just like that, soft turned into needy, making her kiss him harder as she finally undid the damn buttons that always drove her nuts.
Lips only parted from her own once he felt the looseness of his vest, this inner chuckle filling his mind at the feeling. Hands pulled back to tug the fabric off, letting it drop to the floor before his attention turned right back to her. It was automatic for hands to return to her hips, a tight grip offering, keeping his grasp firm to make it easier to lift the other off the ground, only to set her on top of the bar. It certainly made it easier to focus on her and not the possibility of knocking her over, sure that would ruin the mood more than anything. ❝Good spot for you,❞ Micah mumbled once he found his way back to her, hands resting on the edge of the bar's top on either side of her.

Thank god for heels. It brought Quinn up closer to him. She moved to press her body against his own more, needing that closeness. Tonight would be the last night they have together until she would be able to come home. Whenever that would be. Quinn was going to make the best of it. After all, this was their wedding night. They had to celebrate being husband and wife, even if he probably was going to deny it to the whole world. He did never like to call her his girlfriend. Just his girl. It would probably still be that way, not that she would care. It was just who he was. Her hands moved to clutch at his shirt, wondering if he ever wanted to have her in this bar. Maybe he wanted her that night all those years ago. They were going to find out now.
Closeness was never something that fascinated him. It was amusing and entertaining but it never pulled that string in the back of his mind that tugged him in. That was different with her. The feeling of being so close, hands on his shirt, it was intoxicating. Feet moved carefully, stepping forward until the other was pressed against the edge of the bar. It was easy to close off the rest of the world, something he usually needed even if he didn't know it. Needed that distraction that pulled everything else away from his mind, everything except for the pair. He could be around her no matter how he was feeling. Maybe not as much if anger filled him but most of the time, even then, being around her helped which was something he couldn't say about anyone else. Others managed to irritate him, especially if he was already in an aggravated state, that wasn't the same with her. Sure she had her moments where he needed to be away from her due to some headache she had given him but most of the time, she was the calmest thing he could turn to when he needed it.

Fascinating. He always found her to be fascinating. Quinn chalked it up to them being very different people. A lot had happened since the last time they were intimate. She had been shot, she lost a uterus. Quinn had asked a lot of questions about intimacy. Since she only had a partial hysterectomy, she retained everything else. They told her that sex would be the same. Some even said it would be better because there was no fear of pregnancy. Pregnancy was something Quinn never feared. What she feared was how she was going to feel to him. Would he find her the same woman if they were intimate together? Her lips met his as hands moved to hold his jaw while they kissed. She hoped he would find her to be the same woman. That he would love her the same way he always has.
They most likely wouldn't have worked if they acted the exact same way. The pair would never get anywhere if they were both as stubborn as the male was, they would never end up agreeing on anything either. But on that same side, he couldn't deal with someone completely opposite to him either, he hated people that agreed with anything and everything, it was a headache. Quinn seemed to be that perfect in-between. She was almost as stubborn, didn't always agree but did when it felt needed, they had common interests and different ones they learned about. They worked even if sometimes they didn't work. It's what made it so easy to fall right back to her, lips meeting hers, hands on her hips, this warmth in his chest. It was familiar, home.

Chuckling, she simply shrugged at him. ❝Still.❞ It was her only retort. Dave was kind enough to mail in the certificate so that neither of them had to worry about it. He was gone, leaving only them in the bar together. ❝Been a while since I’ve been in here.❞ When they started dating, she never came in. Not because she didn’t want to, but because the bar was his place. Home was their place. The last time she was in here, she was punching out some asshole. Micah prevented the police from arresting her. ❝I was right about here,❞ she stated, moving to stand in the middle of the room. ❝First time I spotted you. My friends at the time told me you were an asshole. Then you saved my ass.❞
As soon as they were alone, relief set over the male, unsure if it was because he didn't trust other people around them right now or if it was just because he always felt more comfortable being around her completely alone. As soon as she started talking, his feet pulled him behind the arm, leaning against the top with elbows resting against the hard wooden surface. ❝Pretty sure your friends still don't like me but I'm assuming that's not your point.❞ Not that they didn't have a reason to, he wasn't exactly sunshine and peaches whenever they were around. It wasn't like he didn't try. In fact, he attempted to stay as far away from possible if she ever had a friend over. He never minded, he liked knowing she had friends, had people around her that weren't involved in the things he was involved with. It reminded him that not everything and everyone around her was toxic. ❝Besides, you absolutely wouldn't have survived the night in jail. You like comfortable blankets far too much.❞

Heels clicked against the floor as he pointed to where the light switches were. Once she was in front of the panel, eyes read for each switch was for until she flicked on the ones right over the bar. There was no need for any other light, especially since this was only going to take a few minutes. Grabbing two pens from the register, she placed them on the bar counter as the two men walked up. She moved so that she was before Micah, taking his hands with a smile. It was quick, simple. The ‘I do’s being uttered just as soon as this all began. Before they knew it, they were husband and wife. Quinn signed her name on the paper before letting Micah do the same. ❝Now, you’re really stuck with me.❞
Thankfully, it didn't take too long, or it didn't feel like it took too long for that matter. It was supposed to be something quick and simple, that was the point of doing inside of the bar they both seemed to know well. It wasn't like she hadn't spent time inside of its walls, not usually in the middle of the night but still, daylight was probably better anyway. As soon as the other finished signing, he moved to take the pen between his fingers, leaning against the bar to sign his own name against the piece of paper. ❝Pretty sure I was stuck with you before too,❞ he pointed out, even using the pen to point towards her as if that entirely proved his point.

The moment he agreed, she couldn’t help but beam up at him. It was perfect. The bar would be a safe place for the both of them, especially since it was closed at the moment. As Marcus stated, a ‘family death’ was placed on the doors of the bar to keep people from asking questions. It wasn’t long before they arrived and Dave was waiting out front for them. ❝Did you bring the certificate?❞ Quinn nodded at him before looking at Micah so that he could open the door to let them in. Quinn was excited. Very excited. They were really doing this.
A hand shoved into his pocket, keys jingling as he tugged them out, immediately working to unlock the large front door. No matter what, the bar would always feel familiar to him. It was the one the boys grew up in, raced around as young boys, they had even learned how to shoot out back. That was, until the fire and everything came to a brief stop, bar put on hold until Micah took over. Memories. They had his head shaking just before the door unlocked and he pushed it open, making sure to hold it for Quinn. ❝Switches are right next to the bar,❞ he explained, pointing towards the small panel for the female, figuring some form of light was better than utter darkness.

micah: Handle what? Not seeing you?

He’d never admit to it, but he was pretty whipped. It was probably the reason why there hasn’t been many attacks on Quinn at this point. No one really knew how deeply he cared for her or what he’d do for her. Quinn still didn’t know the extent of it. ❝He said he would meet us at your bar. I figured that a place you happen to like would be a good spot.❞ Far from traditional, but she wanted him to be comfortable.
The bar. It was still locked, the brothers hadn't opened it since Quinn was shot and they saw no point in one of the boys that worked for them doing it considering everyone seemed to be on red alert at this point. ❝That sounds like a good idea,❞ he agreed with another firm nod. It wasn't entirely wrong, even he didn't know the extent of what he would do for her, maybe it would be far too dangerous or terrifying to know just how far he would go. Even now, agreeing to something he had always felt like he wouldn't care for, feet moving to exit the home, not too much hesitation to it.
└ text: Q
quinn: I would want to come home if I see you and if we meet and I still have to wait...
quinn: I rather see you and know we won't have to part. As much as it hurts to say that.
micah: If you're sure, then alright.
└ text: Q
quinn: Are you sure? I know we planned that I'd come home when everything is done.
micah: Everything dangerous is taken care of, as far as I am aware.
micah: I just have a few side things I need to take care of first. But as I said, I can push it back if you want me to come see you.
