It was strange how someone like Liying could still manage to live on after losing all of those who had been most important in her life. Somehow she managed.
This could be one of the many reasons as to why she had become the way she was now, always walking around so seriously, never smiling or laughing like she once had long ago. Back when both Youngwon and Liran were alive, Liying would smile and laugh easily, but after her brother died she slowly began to fall apart and then the day came when Youngwon died and she lost herself completely.
She was forced to only live her life more or less in solitude, the only emotions she felt were ones which often labeled her as cold and heartless. Maybe it was for the best seeing as the government didnāt take too kindly to those who just let themselves goof around, Liying being on the other end of the stick when it came to being punished for her old ways.
Sheās walking down the hall, no set destination in mind after having just returned from a mission, when she runs into a familiar figure. Stopping, Liying glances at the door he had just come from behind before her gaze is resting on him.Ā āIt seems like things went wrong.ā She states, tone neutral and emotionless. Even if she didnāt seem like it to most, she was rather observant with different expressions and movements of others around her, perhaps due to her constant loneliness over the past few years.
āI didnāt take you for someone to find trouble, though Iām never one to truly judge a book by itās cover either.ā The last bit she says more to herself, which could be funny in some ways seeing as she was known for spending her free time reading books.
