The Honest Truth // Gwen & Sam
As Gwen was about to give Sam a taste of his own medicine, he jerked their hands away and wiggled his hips like he was in a Shakira music video, but he never once let go of her hand. āI was a baby!" he defended, āI saw everything as a chew toy, can you blame me?" She only laughed and nodded and they fell into a brief silence and began to watch his dad play a short song from one of his greatest hits albums after he went solo. At first, Sam was unsure of how to respond, but then the words hit him like a ton of bricks. āWell, youāre specialā¦ to me, anyway. Canāt think of anyone else Iād rather tell someone like that to, babe." he kissed her head as he finished. To his surprise, Gwen shook her head no and sat up straight, placing their hands on the arm rest of the couch and kissed him softly. He was surprised at first, almost too surprised to even return the kiss, but he did. Their lips overlapped perfectly, hers reminding him of pillows, or even a cloud, if he had touched one of course. He ran a free hand through her hair, it settling on the nape of his neck. When they finally pulled apart for air, all they could do was smile at each other.
Feeling a goofy grin spreading across her lips as he called her special, an unsatisfied feeling washed over as his lips kissed her forehead. She wanted more, and after seventeen years of not taking risks, for once, Gwen wanted to do just that. Sitting up and staring intensely into Sam's green eyes, she let her emotions take over for once and her eyes fluttered shut when her lips connected with his. If the television was off and the room fell completely silent, she was sure you could hear the sound of her beating heart thumping twice as fast. Shockingly, Gwen felt as if her lips were made to connect with Sam's by the way their lips moved together in such easy rhythm. Gently squeezing Sam's hand with hers, she took her free hand and placed it on his chest, and as they pulled apart, Gwen inhaled quickly before feeling that same, goofy smile spread across her lips again. Shutting her eyes momentarily, Gwen brushed her nose against his before looking into his eyes. "I don't know if that was enough to prove it to you, but... I really like you, Sam Foster." Gwen said quietly, enough for Sam to hear and him alone. Feeling her cheeks grow warm and surely into a blush tone, Gwen relaxed back into his side, as her eyes fixated back on the television, feeling more satisfied than ever.
That is probably what happened. Well, now I know I can always bake cupcakes when Iām bored.
As long as you share them after you finished, I say that's a great idea.
Baking cupcakes wouldāve been fun! Especially if we made chocolate ones, donāt know why I didnāt think of that.
You may have spent too much time acknowledging the fact that you were bored to realize you could've easily solved that problem.

Well I mean you could have always asked me to join you. We could've went to the pool, the beach, the other pool, watched a movie, baked cupcakes. Endless possibilities!

The Honest Truth // Gwen & Sam
Sam gave a weak smile and buckled over when she poked him in his side. That was one thing he could never deal with. He wasnāt ticklish at all but he could simply not handle having sides pinched or poked, and apparently Gwen found this amusing seeing as how she did it three more times and laughed while watching him squirm. When she was finally done, Sam returned his position and sat against the couch Ā Gwen joining him immediately and her body melted into his figure once again. Ā He laughed, āItās not my fame, itās my fathers but itās always reflected back on me. Iām glad you donāt think any of me, I know I shouldāve told you but itās become something I donāt tell anyone without even meaning to." His head dropped as she showered him with compliments, he was never good at accepting such things. He accepted her gesture and took a daring move, intertwining their hands after their promise was made. He was sure she could feel his racing pulse while their fingers were locked but he didnāt care much. He sighed, unmuting the television. His father was talking about his new book and he chuckled as he noticed something, āSee that scar on his index fingerās knuckle? When I first got teeth, I bit him. A little sick, isnāt it?" he grinned.
As her head once again was lying against Sam's shoulder, the girl let out a breath of relief and comfort. She was happy that Sam had trusted her, and really, that was all she wanted. When they had sealed the promise, her eyes lit up at the feeling and sight of Sam grabbing hold of her hand. Biting her lip and looking up at him, she giggled before looking at the television that had been unmuted. Squinting her eyes when Sam had mentioned to look at his father's hand, a laugh escaped her lips and the girl srunched her nose. "That's horrible! Do you know how painful that is?" Gwen raised an eyebrow before pulling up their hands that were intertwined and was inches away from biting his own hand to show him what it felt like. Playfully, the brunette let out a loud laugh as she watched Sam squirm away from her in fear. "Exactly! It's sick." Gwen grinned mischievously before letting out a yawn and moved closer into Sam, enjoying the warmth. "Thank you." Gwen murmured, looking up at him once more. "Y'know, for trusting me. Letting me know the side of you that no one else does. I feel honored." Looking into his eyes, catching her her bottom lip in between her teeth, Gwen felt her heart racing, just looking at him. It was like the minute he had opened up to her and trusted her enough to tell Gwen his secret, she already felt closer to him that her words couldn't describe and she liked the feeling... A lot.
There is nothing worse than being bored.
