so since I wasn't able to go to thanksgiving dinner today my dad called me and told me that my 17 year old cousin was talking shit about refugees and my grandma totally shut him down by informing him that if it weren't for America accepting  refugees then he wouldn't exist. 

he was confused until she informed him that her father was a refugee of world war 2.
