Milek: "thank you for the shit genes" Geralt, thinking: Jaskier has shit genes?? Mileks body is not taking the mutated genes too well. His immune system is somewhere between overdrive and not working at all.

do love that jaskier was absolutely doing the revenge bod thing, evidenced by the fact that he IMMEDIATELY made an excuse to take off oNLY HIS SHIRT in front of geralt.
It was destiny

@ everyone losing their shit about Jaskier being in Blood Origin because they can't see how that can happen without time travel (which they don't like). May I introduce you all to the concept of a framing narrative?
It's a (side) story used to portray the main story, such as us - the audience - "listening" to a storyteller telling us the story. One famous example is The Princess Bride where the framing story is a granddad (Peter Falk) telling the story The Princess Bride as a bedtime story to his grandson. The main story is several times interrupted by the framing narrative to interject commentary and aid the pacing.
The Witcher books use framing stories in several places too such as in Lady of the Lake.
Now time and world travel is also part of the Wiycher universe so it isn't impossible, but I'd say that it is much more likely that Jaskier's involvement is being part of a framing narrative for the main story and that it's that "frame" that's been expanded upon.

I do believe after Eskel left town with Jaskier and Milek they do at least spent a day or two together. Jaskier thinks it's unwise, but he also doesn't like travelling alone anymore, just till they reach the next town... And Milek loves his uncle. Said uncle doesn't have an idea and still adores Milek in return. It's sweet and heart wrenching to watch, for Jaskier.
People like Jaskier is little weak meow meow while in the show Jaskier saw the scariest man in the world and decided to be his bestie even if he doesn't want it and then when Geralt found a genie the one of Jaskier's wishes is TO KILL Valdo. And of course how can I forget Jaskier who ate something strange in a lab in Kaer Morhen without caring that it might be posions. Please, this guy has no fear, no self-preservation instinct. He is a mad angry man and I love him for that

My jaskier is near immortality, so he deserves the elf's ears. 😉
And in those not-so-quiet moments of laughter and lyrics, of flowers in their hair and leaves in the wind-
Geralt finally found what pleases him.
the true danger of a de-aged shifter jask is that he could transform into a foal, and then geralt would be powerless to stop him from doing anything
Jaskier and his muse, and the love between them.

Someone called him a modern Renaissance Man and I can see that. He’s awesome. An intelligent, charismatic, sensitive soul.
I’m so happy the show brought him to our attention. It should have been sooner!
